Facilities: The decor is very ******* in style, with wood being the predominant material in the rooms. It might not have all the amenities of a typical hotel, but it's full of character. Cleanliness: It's quite clean, though there's a faint, elusive yak smell in the hallways (not entirely sure, so beware if you're sensitive to smells); the owner has several cats, which is a huge plus for cat lovers. Environment: The location is right within the ancient town, just over 900 meters from its center. Service: The service is very attentive, and the breakfast is delicious. There were also foreigners staying here. Free airport/high-speed train station/bus station pickup or drop-off: It seems this service is no longer available, but it's very close to the train station, about a 5 km taxi ride, so it won't cost much.

I had a truly pleasant stay at this hotel in Lijiang. The host Fei is extremely kind, warm, and helpful. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel very welcome and was always ready to assist with any questions, recommendations, or requests. He even helped to carry and bring our luggage to the hotel, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. His hospitality really made a big difference and added a personal touch to the stay. The room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully arranged, which made it easy to relax and feel at home. I slept very well during my stay and appreciated the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The location is also very convenient. It is not far from the North Gate of Lijiang Old Town, making it easy to explore the area, find food, and move around without any hassle. At the same time, the hotel is in a calm area away from the crowds. Another great point is that airport pickup service is available, which made arrival much easier and stress free. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay in Lijiang. Great location, comfortable room, and an amazing host. Malaysian travelers, please come and stay at this hotel. You will not regret it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers and would happily stay here again on my next visit.

Staying at Honglin Pavilion Inn in Dali was an absolute gem! The facilities and amenities were top-notch, far exceeding my expectations, and truly enhanced my trip. The inn's location is incredibly convenient. Step right out into the ancient city's streets, and a stroll to Erhai Lake is just a few minutes away. Walking into the courtyard was a breathtaking experience; it's designed in a classical Chinese garden style, with rockeries and flowing water complemented by vintage lanterns. The common areas feature incredibly comfortable rattan chairs and tea sets, and they even provide complimentary tea and utensils. In my free time, I'd brew a pot of tea and enjoy the scenery – it was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. All in all, the stay brought immense happiness. Next time I'm in Dali, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The place is perfect for a one night stopover for us - the shower is warm with warm lights, towels and blanket are thick, pillows are big and fluffy - we had a good night’s sleep!! Room was spacious as well with slippers and good amenities. Not to say the service and experience was good - there was someone who came to pick up our luggages by the roadside with a tiny truck (super cute) so we didn’t have to carry 4 luggages up and down the stone paved roads. Walk was really short (2-3 mins) from the main road where our driver dropped us off. Did the same when we were leaving - with the pick-up point at 一棵树客栈. When we asked for food recommendations, the staff passionately gave us a few and even communicate to the shop staff at 疯牛宫 (where we ate) that we were there and they gave us complimentary 酸梅汤 (and this was good!!). When we had small trouble with the sink, the staff came over immediately and resolved it. 10/10 service and experience 🙏🏼 thankful!

The room was clean and tidy, and the small courtyard had a unique design. They said it was in the Bai architectural style, which looked pretty good. It's also very close to the East Street of the ancient city. Complimentary fruits are available (limited supply at the front desk): oranges and apples.

The owner was incredibly thoughtful and humorous; they proactively helped us with our luggage from the car and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. We had great chats, and they even predicted the next day's 'Golden Summit' (sunlight hitting the mountain peak), which totally enhanced our experience! Although the hotel is located on a mountaintop, the stunning mountain views live up to their reputation. The environment is fresh and cool, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently accessible. Our room was clean and bright overall, meticulously tidied with all necessary toiletries provided. The room layout was also perfect for a family stay, making it comfortable and reassuring. We'll definitely be back!

Had a fantastic stay, very warm and attentive service. The hotel front desk even prepared altitude sickness prevention drinks and snacks. The room was clean and tidy, with floor heating. They also offer a pick-up/drop-off service to the high-speed rail station.

The room was spotless and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The owner was incredibly warm and patient, offering pick-up/drop-off services and helping guests arrange their needs. The courtyard was filled with beautiful, well-maintained flowers, clearly showing the owner's passion for life. They also have a travel photography studio with a celebrity makeup artist who has worked on film sets – they were very professional and took amazing pictures of me!

The room smelled heavily of cigarettes, and there were hairs on the sheets and pillowcases, which was disgusting, but everything else was worth the price. The proprietress was nice, the inn facilities were very thoughtful, the details of the public areas were carefully arranged, the location was good, the price/performance ratio was high, and there were not so many bars in the ancient town to bother you when you go to bed at night.

I really loved this place, and I'd definitely want to stay here again if I come back to Lijiang. The owner was super friendly, chatted with me, and even upgraded my room for free. The room was spotless, and the cleaning lady from the guesthouse tidied up on her own initiative after I'd been there two days. All the room amenities were great, and the hot water came on quickly. The windows were big, so the ventilation was excellent. The garden courtyard on the first floor also had a nice view, and you could see the old town and the snow-capped mountains from the top floor. The guesthouse even provides oxygen, so you don't have to buy it outside when you go to the mountains. Loved, loved, loved it!
