"I chose this hotel because I was visiting relatives. The only downside is that each room only had soft pillows. Typically, hotels should provide at least two types of pillows in the room. When I asked the front desk for a latex pillow, they said they had run out, which means they don't have enough pillows for their guests. They should definitely stock more in the future. The hotel did apologize, which was quite prompt. On the positive side, the front desk called us in the evening to let us know that our car's back window was open, which was a very timely discovery. Overall, it's a great hotel. The room was clean and had a smart toilet. The surrounding area has plenty of amenities, making it convenient for getting around, and parking is free for hotel guests."

"I usually stay at one of two hotels when I'm on business in Cangzhou: the Golden Lion Hotel or the Arcadia. The front desk staff, especially Li Huize, provided excellent and thoughtful service, even preparing welcome gifts and drinks. First, about the room: it was clean, but the facilities were outdated. There wasn't even a USB port in the room, which I suggest the hotel updates. Next, the service: there was no doorman at the entrance to open the car door or help with luggage upon arrival. The service felt impersonal. This is definitely something the hotel should learn from the Golden Lion Hotel, where the service is much more welcoming and enthusiastic. Furthermore, the hotel's room service staff were not very warm; they seemed rather aloof. And the hallway had a pervasive musty smell. Finally, the hotel breakfast: the variety was not as good as the Golden Lion. The ham sausages were not pure meat, but starchy, and the bacon also looked pale and not like pure meat. There were no desserts, and the lamb intestine soup wasn't freshly prepared. When I called for ice to my room, it was brought in a large ramen-style bowl, not an ice bucket. This really felt out of place for a five-star hotel."

"The Xiazhi Parent-Child Hotel (Liuzhuang Branch) is absolutely the top choice for families with kids in Beidaihe! Its location is unbeatable – just a few steps from Liuzhuang Night Market and a short walk to the beach, making it super convenient for beachcombing and enjoying local snacks. The room was clean and tidy, with thoughtful child-friendly designs everywhere. The free beachcombing tools were incredibly useful. Kids can play all day long at the indoor soft play area and the age-specific pools, giving parents a much-needed break. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, and the hygiene was excellent. The value for money is outstanding. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Beidaihe. Highly recommend for families with children!"

"Excellent! Absolutely fantastic! They even have EV charging stations in the courtyard, which is a huge plus for us driving all the way from Beijing. The courtyard is spacious, and it's so close to the sea – very relaxing! Parking is also super convenient. The room was very clean, and the facilities were new. The air conditioning was quite advanced, with modes like 'comfort breeze' and 'sleep' functions. The room featured large, panoramic windows, providing excellent natural light. Both the front desk staff, the young lady and gentleman, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I asked about the gym, someone immediately escorted me there. Their service was top-notch; they provided everything I asked for, whether it was extra blankets, kids' slippers, or water. Truly great! Highly recommended!"

"My stay at Jinshi International was absolutely perfect! I especially want to highlight the buffet breakfast and the free shuttle service. The breakfast had a great variety, blending both Chinese and Western options. The local donkey meat pancake and lamb intestine soup were authentic, and they even had low-fat whole grains and fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, so I could eat healthily even while on a diet. The dishes were refilled promptly and were clean and fresh. I pre-booked the shuttle to the high-speed rail station, and the driver was waiting on time, actively helping with my luggage. It saved me both hassle and money getting to and from the station. The room was clean, and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. All my travel and dining needs were well taken care of. This is my top choice for business travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Cangzhou."

"The young lady at the hotel was very enthusiastic; she even came out to help with our luggage, and her service attitude was excellent. The hotel room was spacious, looked clean and tidy, and all the disposable amenities were readily available. The hotel's location is great, right next to Jinlong Shopping Plaza, and very close to the Summer Resort, within walking distance. It's also not far from the Eight Outer Temples scenic area, about a 10 yuan taxi ride away. I had a wonderful stay this time, and I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengde."
