Staying at the Golden Lion Hotel was the biggest surprise of my trip to Cangzhou! While the hotel's facilities might seem a bit dated at first glance, they are incredibly well-maintained. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the bathroom, in particular, felt very high-quality. What truly impressed me most was the service – friendly, fast, timely, and respectful; everything was executed flawlessly. The complimentary shuttle service to major attractions and the high-speed rail station was incredibly convenient and comfortable! The dining experience was nothing short of a feast. The breakfast quality, even when compared to top-tier cities, is absolutely outstanding – a true culinary delight! Over three days, I diligently tried to sample as much as possible: lamb intestines, donkey burgers, fried tiger (likely a local dish name), meat buns, congee, tofu pudding, jianbing guozi, sugar oil cakes, noodles, various hot and cold dishes, and a wide array of fruits. I truly gave it my all! Plus, the hotel provided a 198 RMB dining voucher, which I used at the Cantonese restaurant, and without exception, everything was delicious! Trust me, you need at least three days to fully enjoy all the food here. All in all, the Golden Lion is the most cost-effective hotel I've stayed in for years. Its overall quality clearly surpasses most international five-star hotels, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's worth revisiting Cangzhou just to stay at the Golden Lion again.

So clean! I won't even go into the location or the hotel's views – the scenery, where Emperor Qianlong once studied, is truly picturesque. My parents spent the entire morning just enjoying the courtyard. I think the highlight of this trip was definitely the hotel's scenery. The breakfast isn't as lavish as a standard five-star hotel, but it has everything you need. The vegetables were incredibly fresh and clean, which made me feel very comfortable eating them! Finally, regarding the service, the two ladies at the front desk were so enthusiastic and attentive; it truly felt like a home away from home. My parents even want to go back and stay for a few more days for a vacation!

Absolutely fantastic! What a treat. You can see the sea right from your room. Excellent! I'll definitely book again next time. The beach is right downstairs, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. There's an underground garage with charging stations too. They even thoughtfully provided a foot wash shower downstairs. This hotel is fantastic, highly recommended! This hotel experience gets full marks from me, I truly recommend it! You can gaze at the sea as soon as you step out of your room, the view is incredible, and you can walk straight down to the beach, making it super convenient for going out. There are countless restaurants in the vicinity, offering plenty of choices for all three meals, so you won't have to worry about food. The amenities are also very considerate; the underground garage has ample space and comes with charging piles, making self-driving trips stress-free. They even thoughtfully provided a foot wash shower downstairs, which is super convenient for cleaning off sand after walking on the beach. Every detail is perfect, and the overall stay was incredibly comfortable. I'll choose this place again next time I visit!

An absolutely fantastic experience! Not only was the service excellent, but the room was also spotless, tidy, and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed a relaxing hot bath in the in-room bathtub. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, so there was plenty to choose from. The executive lounge on the 53rd floor was also great, with attentive service. The evening food selection there exceeded my expectations – I didn't even need to go elsewhere for dinner. The red wine I had was also very good, smooth and not at all astringent.

The hotel environment is excellent. The hotel's own shuttle service to and from the station was very timely, and the vehicle was spotless. The driver was also very enthusiastic, recommending fun places and delicious food in Cangzhou. The hotel service is fantastic; they offer luggage storage. The hotpot chicken delivery I ordered was huge, and the staff even brought it directly to my room, which I really appreciate. The hotel has great greenery, almost like staying in a garden, and it's right next to the Garden Expo Park and Guanguan Paradise, making transportation very convenient. I'll definitely come back!

My stay at the InterContinental Shijiazhuang was even better than expected! The hotel's facilities are top-notch, and the location near Wanda Plaza makes getting around and finding places to eat incredibly convenient. There are tons of great restaurants and entertainment options nearby. A special shout-out to Shara for her incredibly attentive and thoughtful service; she even brought welcome fruit! My first choice was probably due to its excellent location and the allure of 'Water World,' but what keeps bringing me back is that indescribable 'home' feeling. From the moment I push open the hotel doors, the familiar Baroque-style decor greets my eyes, a faint fragrance permeates the air, and the front desk staff always know my surname, greeting me with a 'Welcome home, Mr./Ms. X,' instantly melting away my travel fatigue. I absolutely love the hotel's food; it's simply incredible! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 You must try their Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), and the breakfast spread is particularly rich and diverse. The hotel rooms consistently maintain a reassuring level of cleanliness and comfort. The bedding is just right for a good night's sleep, and the soundproofing is excellent, allowing for peaceful nights even in the bustling city. What touches me even more are the subtle touches of care: the humidifier, eye masks, and earplugs always available in the room are a godsend for someone like me who has specific sleep environment preferences. With each stay, I notice small updates to the room facilities, perhaps a new decorative item or upgraded toiletries. This continuous dedication makes me feel the hotel's relentless pursuit of quality. And 'Water World' is always a highlight I must experience. After a day of work or sightseeing, soaking in the hotel's bathhouse or swimming a few laps in the heated pool makes all fatigue disappear. The bathing facilities here are well-maintained, the water is clear, the environment is elegant, and the staff are always there when you need them, without being intrusive. What I find most unforgettable is the hotel's personalized service. I remember one time I accidentally left a coat in my room. After contacting the hotel, they not only kept it safe but also proactively arranged for it to be couriered back to me. This sense of responsibility and thoughtfulness made me feel completely at ease. Over the past two years and nearly ten stays, the Venice Water World Hotel has witnessed my business trips and also accommodated my leisure time. It has never shown any neglect despite my frequent visits; instead, each time it has surprised me with new delights and consistent warmth. It's not just a hotel; it's more like a 'home away from home' in Shijiazhuang, a sanctuary where I can let my guard down and rest peacefully. The newly opened hotel, the room is clean and bright, you can see the mountain when you go out, the door is the Qianfo Mountain Scenic Area, friends come to climb the mountain, exercise, and then play cards to relax, there is a cafe, you can barbecue, really good. There is also a stream spring next to it, surrounded by mountains, the air is really good, a little drunk oxygen. Push push! ! !

Pros: Meets the basic standards of a five-star hotel. I had a meal at the Chinese restaurant and was satisfied. Cons: Too many people smoking in the lobby and no one seemed to care; the breakfast buffet was more like a four-star standard, with limited stir-fried dishes to choose from and a small selection of pastries that weren't very good; the room facilities felt a bit old and inconvenient, such as the charging ports; no welcome fruit. I accidentally left something behind when checking out. The hotel housekeeping notified me and arranged for a courier four hours later, which I appreciated, but it was a bit late. If I had been notified sooner while still in the area, I could have picked it up myself.

As foreign travellers, we ran into some difficulties purchasing attraction tickets and bus transfer due to lack of a local phone number. We met David at the concierge and asked if we could get some help to purchase. Without hesitation, he offered to purchase on our behalf and even followed up with the attraction to confirm the arrangement. Thanks to his help, we were able to visit the attraction smoothly the next day without any issues. He made us feel very welcome, and his help left us with a wonderful impression of Handan☺️ Thanks David!
