The room itself was excellent – clean, tidy, and definitely felt like a mid-to-high-end property. We were pleasantly surprised with two unique flower cakes upon check-in, which was a lovely touch. Overall, it offered great value for money. Service: However, the front desk service was extremely disappointing. As a frequent business traveler, I'm used to staying in hotels, and the contrast here was stark. There were two women and one man on duty. Their communication during check-in was stiff and rigid. While one woman was processing our request, the other two were chatting and laughing loudly amongst themselves, completely ignoring us. Such unprofessional front desk staff truly do not live up to the hotel's otherwise high standards and pleasant environment.

I was in for a surprise when I realized this hotel was located in the mountain. There is a pick-up/drop-off point at the top of the hill. It takes about 3-5 minutes walk down to the hotel. The hotel manager helped us with the luggage during check-in/out. To get to the ancient town, it’s about 10 minutes walk down. Along the way you will pass by other beautiful sceneries before arriving at a side street of the bar street in the ancient town. The rooms are a bit run down due to humidity, but it’s very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a Very serene vibe. Very relaxing. I’m happy we stayed at this hotel, and would recommend fellow travelers (who don’t mind to hike a little) to stay here too!

Couldn’t ask more for Atour Hotel. Everything meets or exceeds our expectations. The room is good size, amenities are modern and functional; super comfortable beds and pillows; the breakfast is delicious; the location is second to none (eateries, shopping all nearby); and last but not least, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We even got a takeaway breakfast on the day of checking out because our train was early morning and had no time to have breakfast at the restaurant. Will definitely recommend to everyone who come to Kunming!

The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was absolutely incredible and incredibly helpful! 🥹 We were in a frantic rush, almost missing our high-speed train. We quickly called a taxi, and she immediately jumped in to help with our luggage, even arranging for it to be sent directly from the hotel to the train station. She was so kind, constantly assisting us with our bags and loading them into the car! The hotel also offers an excellent pickup service. They picked us up directly from the high-speed train station and brought us to the hotel. The service was fantastic, and the vehicle was spacious and spotless. Our driver, a lovely lady, was incredibly warm and even brought us some small fruits from Nuoji Mountain (she called them 'Sanya fruits,' tasting like mini mangosteens!). The hotel's location in Gaozhuang is truly unbeatable! It's super close to the Starlight Night Market, surrounded by numerous restaurants and fruit shops. In the evenings, there are also plenty of delicious street food stalls! Overall, the hotel service was excellent! The breakfast area, located on the other side, also offered a wonderful ambiance. Our room was very clean and even included a washing machine, which was incredibly handy for laundry. We ran out of hangers and requested nine more, which were promptly delivered to our room. Honestly, the front desk staff really saved the day when we were almost late for our train! Seriously, everyone, you absolutely *must* stay at this hotel! It's also super convenient to order takeout from popular Xishuangbanna 'influencer' spots. The rooms are quite spacious and beautifully decorated, perfect for snapping some gorgeous photos!

We stayed at this guesthouse for 3 nights. Everybody here is very nice and helpful, the service was amazing! They will help you with anything (for example booking tickets, giving recommendations and carrying your luggage as they don’t have an elevator). The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a room overlooking the Jade Snow Mountain. Would highly recommend staying here!

The room is excellent and is at end of a valley, which make it very peaceful and quiet to rest. Also around 5-10mins from northeast entrance. The mattress got heater and the room and environment was very classic making them so photogenic. The host is responsive and nice to help us carry our heavy bags to the room. Definitely recommended

This charming B&B is run by locals and is set in a beautiful, traditional Bai ethnic house. Its location is superb, tucked away in an alley directly opposite the South Gate of the Ancient City. However, it can be a bit tricky to locate initially. The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly; he even guided us to the correct address over the phone and helped us arrange parking. As a thoughtful gesture, he gave us a box of local flower cakes when we checked out. Stepping out of the B&B, you're immediately on a lively street packed with restaurants and shops, making everything incredibly convenient.

The hotel is very good. The room is very spacious, very clean, and very new. I chose a room facing the mountain view, but got a confusing view of the city. I highly recommend it. The hotel is excellent.

First of all, I could say that the service of the hotel is highly appreciated. The staff tries her best to treat us with kindness and full service-mind. She even upgraded my room surprisingly so I had my spacious bedroom bigger than expected. Besides, complimentary fruits already prepared before my check-in. Thanks so much for her full offer. Apart from my above booking, I also decided to book taxi+driver to pick up to Yading. Sure ! the staff helped me to look for taxi with driver as planned. And I got it finally ! However, there're some points to ask the hotel to consider and fix it as follows : - WiFi internet in my room was so slow and disconnect for many times. - Not only this above problem, but I also cannot use TV. Nevertheless, I still choose this hotel for next time in Lijiang. Overall, it was so good and sometimes make me feel homey as the staffs were all so lovely and prompt to serve you with care.

Very good location, staff are friendly. My kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast is delicious. Provide free airport pick up. Airport drop off cost 100 RMB, which is very good deal, as we have 7 people and 8 luggages with several backpacks. We hired the driver Mr.Yang who picked us up from the airport for some day trips, which saved us lots of traffic time. Room service was completed everyday stocking all our daily wants and needs. We ended up with a room with a real great view that looks over the river too! Wonderful experience!
