It's located in the Ancient city area. Although getting there with luggage is quite painful, the hotel always send staffs to help us (both pickup on arrival and send us on departure) so that's no problem. You better take a cap and drop at the intersection, follow hotel's suggestion, don't go there by walking with only AMap / Google map, it's not convenience that way. The place imitate Japanese style room (without Tatami Mat) so if you're into Japanese culture, that's a plus. Otherwise it's great atmosphere. I admitted that I didn't expect much at first. I could bear the old room, a bit dirty, a bit inconvenience or discomfort, since the price is Very cheap. BUT - Unexpectedly, everything is much better than expectation. I booked for only about 20$ a day, but getting like 40$ value. It's not the top tier service, but from the value point of view, you get MUCH MORE than it's seen. We asked staff about a good place to eat noodle, and he introduce the one in the map picture. IT WAS SO GOOD! Location 11/10 (it's INSIDE - so it just 3 min. walking to Center of Ancient Town) Service 10/10 (Without staff help it could be problematic for luggage) Facility 10/10 Cleanliness 9/10 (it's a little old, but no problem) Food - Null Value for money - 12/10 (20$ - for real????)

Excellent value for money! The beds are clean and the common areas have a fantastic atmosphere, making it easy to meet backpackers from all over the world. The shared bathrooms are tidy (though you might have to queue during peak hours), and there are locker codes for peace of mind. It can get a bit lively at night, so it's perfect for young travelers who enjoy socializing. The location is super convenient, with the subway right downstairs. It’s a unique experience, embracing the good and the compromises of a hostel stay!

The environment is great; it faces Erhai Lake and you can also see Cangshan Mountain. You don't even need to wake up early to catch a glimpse of the sunrise on Cangshan. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. However, there is some noise, as it's right above a main road. As for facilities, it seems like the hotel is divided into different buildings. The one I stayed in didn't have a fridge or microwave. I recommend confirming this with the owner when you book. The password lock also has a Bluetooth unlock feature. It's a bit far from the old town, but that wasn't an issue for me as I wasn't planning on visiting it. Overall, it's pretty good.

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to various shops and food streets, and Kunming Old Street is just a 10-15 minute walk away. We could also park right in front of the hotel, which was convenient for getting taxis. The hotel is new, the rooms are spacious, the front desk service is great, and the breakfast offers a good variety and is delicious! It's excellent value for money.

The biggest plus for this room is its fantastic location, right next to Kunming Old Street. It's just a short walk to East Asia Style Street, Zhengyi Road Pedestrian Street, and Kunming Old Street, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and getting around. The room is 28 square meters, a standard size for business travelers. The cleaning staff were very diligent with their work, and the young lady at the front desk was also very friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

Our host Ah Fei was very welcoming and extremely helpful from the beginning until the end of my stay. The service was superb, they helped out with luggage pick up and I was arrived late at night and very thankful for the late night pick up service at the train station 🙏🏻. This hotel is within Lijiang Old Town, cars can’t comes in and just right outside the north gate. There is plenty of restaurant, very accessible and easily for those who take a day tour for the tour guide to pick you up from here and wait at the main road. Overall it was a pleasant stay, they provided guest with a welcome tea and fruits. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard. The room is clean and comfortable. Will recommend this hotel to others.

What impressed us most was the amazing team behind the hotel. From the front desk, to the activity organisers, to the restaurant staff, everyone was warm, friendly, helpful, and attentive. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. It is not easy to find a hotel where the service feels so sincere and consistent in every part of the experience. The room arrangement was one of the most unforgettable parts of our stay. Waking up to the breathtaking view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was simply amazing. The view received so many compliments from our friends and family, and many of them even asked us more about the hotel because they were so impressed. It truly made our stay feel extra special. A very special thank you to Jennifer, the Front Office Manager, for her prompt replies and thoughtful arrangements before our stay. Her care and attention to detail made us feel reassured even before we arrived, and we really appreciated all the effort she put in to make our stay so well arranged. Another highlight was how kid-friendly the hotel is. There were so many enjoyable activities for children, especially the animal feeding sessions and campfire dancing. Our child enjoyed them so much, and seeing her so happy made the stay even more meaningful for us. The fact that she is already asking to come back says everything. Breakfast was also a wonderful part of our stay. There was a good variety, the food was enjoyable, and the setting was beautiful. Starting each morning with the peaceful view of the lake and mountains made the experience even more special. This hotel truly raised our expectations of what a great and luxurious hotel should be. It is not only a beautiful property, but also a place made special by a team that brings so much warmth, care, and dedication to every guest’s stay. Congratulations to the hotel for having such an outstanding team and such a wonderful place. Thank you for giving our family such beautiful memories. We will remember this stay fondly.

This hotel is right at the entrance of the Dongfengyun Scenic Area, almost like it's part of it, especially since check-in includes free tickets. Among all the MGallery hotels, this one truly stands out aesthetically. The ethnic minority-style welcome ceremony, combined with the local wine specialty, adds a unique charm to the experience. It's very close to the high-speed rail station, making it perfect for a weekend getaway. The value for money would be even better if it weren't for holiday price surges. However, during the Spring Festival, the scenic area offers light shows, fireworks, and other performances, which really makes it worth the price. Overall, highly recommended!

A great weekend!! Caught up with Mother's Day, I took my mother to rest for a day. I felt super relaxed from the moment I entered the hotel. The environment is beautiful and the green vegetation covers a large area. Before check-in, Miss Niki (?) contacted and arranged a room upgrade. I am super grateful🥹You can see the jacaranda and blue sky outside from the balcony and feel the wind. The quality of the double breakfast and lunch rice noodle set in the set is absolutely impeccable. There are various snacks. You can try all kinds of small bowls. Paoruda is the best😋The lemon and sour spicy chicken feet in the set are super delicious. I also went to the Chinese restaurant to take a portion home before leaving. Thanks to every staff member I met, including but not limited to Brother Cai Liping at the front desk, Brother Gu Dezhong in the Western restaurant, and a small but energetic lady in the Chinese restaurant (I met her at noon on 5.9/10). I hope I didn’t write everyone’s name wrong🙈 See you next time! ! Definitely come again!

This charming homestay is tucked away on a quiet side street, just a quick 2-minute walk from the main Lianian Street. My friends and I loved the beautiful courtyard and traditional architecture — it really captured the local character of Jianshui. We only stayed one night, right after the Golden Week holidays, and were pleasantly surprised that the staff could arrange spacious rooms for us on the same second floor (I’d recommend choosing the second floor over the first). The staff were friendly and very responsive to our questions and requests. One thing to note: because it’s designed in a traditional courtyard style, you can hear other guests talking if you leave your windows open — but that’s part of the authentic atmosphere!
