I find this hotel through Rick Steves tour book. To my surprise, this is one bed room apartment with 2 toilets and separate living room with sofa. It fits 4 persons. Very clean, bed is comfortable. Only problem is weak wifi signal.
Parking garage is under the building. Supermarket is 2 minutes walking. A lot of restaurants are near by.

The room is more spacious than expected, the only drawback is that you can't see the street view.
The environment is clean and tidy. You need to swipe your card to get on the elevator. The service staff downstairs also work very well and take the initiative to take the luggage. They also give bottled water every day, which is great.
The location is also very good. It is opposite the Prado and there is a big bus to take. It is 15 minutes by taxi from the train station. There is also Starbucks for breakfast, which is convenient. You can order breakfast downstairs by yourself. The taste and service are also good value for money. This is the most satisfactory hotel for this trip, and my impression of Madrid has also increased accordingly.

We need to set a big bed + sofa bed for 2 big and 1 small beds. At that time, the room was written that it could accommodate 3 people (including 2 big beds) for 3 breakfasts; As a result, I went to the front desk of the hotel and told us that 2 rooms were booked. 2 rooms could be opened through the door. There were 2 2 beds and a sofa bed, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, and at least 5-6 individuals. Why is the order written on Trip inconsistent with the actual situation? We have passed the latest cancellation time and can't refund one. I spent a five-star hotel price and stayed in a four-star hotel. I also wasted a room. In addition, the hotel room was on the road and it was noisy to sleep at night.
Best hotel we stayed at during the whole trip in Spain. Went there for Travis’s Euro Tour, hotel is located right by a metro station and it’s 15 min away from city centre/Train station, 30 min away from Airport - really really convenient.
Hotel’s got everything you are wishing for, recently renovated, air con really good, room is spotless and spacious, bedding is clean and soft. The only prob is that the wifi is on and off, could be slow sometimes.
Staff is well trained and very friendly, especially the young lady help me with glasses of ice cubes, didn’t note her name.
An unforgettable experience in Madrid, highly recommended.
The location is the best. The Metro station (with lift), bus stop and taxi station is at the door of the hotel. I have booked the superior room. The room was clean and tidy. No bath tub, just shower avaiable. The scenery is also very special, you can see the photos for the window view. I arrived the hotel in 10:00 AM. The staff at front desk was kind and keep the luggage and allowed me to check-in early at around 1:30 without any additional charge. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of fruit and juice.

Location’s really good. Very near the Gran Via station, minutes away from Merkado de San Miguel and Plaza Mayor. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
Business hotel, room has a good size, confortable bed and I really enjoyed the bathroom design! The cleaning service was excellent. Just do not recommend the breakfast as it's too much expensive. There's nice markets around to buy whether you like.

Opposite atocha train station but can take sometime to cross over because it’s located along major crossroads . Terrace faces retiro park but not much can be seen. Terrace room seems all located on 7th floor (highest is 8). The room is quite dusty (on the floor) though it looks clean on the whole. Amenities requested through a scan of QR code. Requested for a few items (as there are none not even a kettle!) and received a call that they already have slippers and dental kit in the room but will send anyway. But there was no slippers and dental kit in the room that’s why I request. Anyway, out of the things which I requested, they only sent over the above 2 and kettle. Some other items they did not sent to me even though I requested such as tea bag and amenity kit.

BBuaExcellent location busy hotel right in the Ibiza area of Madrid. Some noise from the streets but not bad. Good standard rooms. Big breakfast buffet.
GGuest UserThere are four stages in the journey, and I am now on the third stage. Madrid is the second stage.
This hotel is the best one among the three stages so far!!
The room is very clean and spacious. There is a safe and a refrigerator.
The toilet is separated into wet and dry areas. There is a circle of mirrors in the toilet, which makes it convenient for me and my friend to move separately. While she washes, I can also put on makeup. There are hand soap/shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.
Free water every day!! Super considerate.
The service is also very nice. There is a restaurant on the 0th floor. Those who push large luggage can enter from the side door of the restaurant. There are only steps at the hotel entrance.
There is a bus stop and a subway station next to the hotel, so the transportation is relatively convenient. You can walk to Retiro Park in the morning. You can also pass by two large supermarkets on the way.
BbinconThe hotel is better than InterContinental, the luggage is delivered to the room, the decoration is high-end, the service staff is enthusiastic, and the hotel is in a good location near Ritz Park. It is highly recommended.
DDr. T The TravelerTo start my review I will point out the positive things which were unfortunately not that many.
The hotel is well located to most everything in Madrid via Metro or walking distance to all restaurants and shopping wishing the center of town. Great foodie destinations and shopping are close by, and that’s where the positive comments will stop.
Upon checking in the first signs of poor service were obviously there. They mentioned that because I booked via the “App” Trip.com or other then we would not be considered like others who booked via their own site or preferred partners.
The room was on the first floor and next to the housekeeper room which was non-stop and especially first thing early morning was my alarm clock at 7am everyday whilst on my vacation, so clearly not a a good thing.
Second and another very important issue was the A/C which didn’t work correctly and was making noise, the room was warm and humid the whole time, I mentioned to the reception within 10min of checking in, 4 nights and nothing was done to improve or correct this issue.
Any request or comment was never taken in a professional, responsible or respectful way. As I was on a well deserved vacation I didn’t want to get angry and cause more stress to myself, but I was clear that I would not let this pass without commenting on it.
The breakfast was good, clean but very limited in regards to selection. When requesting your eggs as they mentioned at each table the request was always ignored and just whatever was available even cold eggs as times were sent out. I had to request each day that my eggs were to be prepared soft/runny and they usually brought out cold m, dry and overcooked. So they would give me a look when I asked to please prepare as requested and then after some time they would come back with the order as mentioned.
Over all it was an effort that I don’t need or want at each stage of the interaction with staff and the facility.
I will stick to my usual Usual choice which is Bonvoy group of hotels next time.
MMLS755Very convenient hotel. Small room but ok for the night before our flight. You can book a shuttle to the airport in advance and pay a small fee. Food was good too.
VVioletaIn our case, everything was fine, quite clean, comfortable bed, the balcony is huge and the heating worked wonderfully, not to mention the location, which was just 3 minutes from Puerta del Sol.
The girls at the reception of 10, made sure that we have the taxi at the door at 5 in the morning
The bad, we had suitcases for a vacation and we had to carry them up to the 4th floor by stairs
JJoelAfter traveling extensively in China, returning to Spain highlighted some noticeable differences, particularly in Madrid. While the city and its infrastructure may feel a bit outdated compared to other global hubs, the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá was a decent and comfortable place to stay.
The hotel’s location is its strongest feature—it’s directly across from Chamartín Train Station and its adjacent subway station. While the train station and subway facilities are not the most modern or impressive, the convenience of being so close to transportation hubs is a definite plus. The street leading to the hotel is a bit unusual, set on a slope, but it’s manageable.
The room was clean and functional, though slightly dated. The beds were comfortable, albeit with older spring mattresses that could use an upgrade. Despite the slightly worn feel, the room provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploring or work.
The standout feature of this hotel was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to different tastes. It was easily the highlight of my stay and set a great tone for the day.
The service was also pleasant and friendly, which is a nice touch, especially given the sometimes lackluster service standards in Spain. The staff were helpful and made the stay more enjoyable.
Overall, while the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá may not be the most modern or luxurious option, it offers good value for its location, a comfortable stay, and an exceptional breakfast. If you’re looking for a convenient and reliable place to stay near Chamartín Station, this hotel is a solid choice.
GGuest UserThe hotel is not bad. The bed is big, comfortable, everything for a comfortable stay is there, wi-fi is good. But before that I rented an apartment for the same money closer to the center, I liked them more. However, for one night it is quite possible to stay in this hotel. There is a metro nearby. It is 40-50 minutes to the center on foot, but I went for a walk. The room is old, but clean, you can leave your things for free. However, the hotel has good audibility, you can hear all conversations, but at night no one made noise.
GGuest UserWe decided to stay in the Hard Rock Madrid for our short stay because we knew there would be high standards of accomodation and service. Everything was perfect in respect of the facilities, including the room but the best thing about our stay was the service provided by the staff. They were all fantastic! The gym is great, outdoor space is well designed and the breakfast was excellent!
DDong ChunIt was okay, but its location was very frustrated me. There are many hotels in such an industry area.. absolutely no shops at all. We arrived at dinner time, there are nowhere to buy foods and snacks except vending machines and its own cafe. We ended up calling uber to go to nearest shop which was carrefour express ( petrol station)and uber back. If we knew the location like that we won't choose this hotel. Well, other than that it was ok.
