For me it’s close to the airport and whilst there isn’t much around, it’s not why I stay here, the beds are comfortable; breakfast is ample. Pricing for some of the meals are a bit high, but uber eats is available. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It’s easy to get a bus transfer to the airport or a taxi or uber. There are snacks and also travel basics if needed, and Wi-Fi is stable down stairs where there are working areas. I have stayed here 3 times.

TOC Hostel Madrid – Perfectly located in the city center, we stayed in a double room with an attached bath that was clean and spacious. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always helpful. Breakfast offered a reasonable spread with a slight variety each day, making our stay both comfortable and convenient

The hotel is conveniently located, there are places nearby where you can go for a walk and have a snack. But there was no air conditioning in the room, it was very hot for us, and when you open the windows, there is a strong noise of the city outside, as this is the main street.

The hotel is far away from the city center but public transportations are nearby so pretty convenient. I traveled solo and was put in a room with 2 twin beds pushed together so I’d asked to change me to a one queen but the front desk guy said they’re all booked, although it seemed pretty empty on a Monday. The room I stayed in didn’t have a bathtub but the design was really nice with a great view. The lights were very complicated to use because they had too many things going on so sometimes the lights in the room turn on out of no where in the middle of the night extra bright. The room had cool technologies though like automatic blinds that blackout the room, vanity lights, and rainfall showers. You pretty much don’t know what kind of designs the room you get will have so it might not be for everyone who must have certain things-might be better to go with a chain brand. The room had weird things like 3 landline phones-one by the bed, one on the tv wall, and one near the toilet in case you need to order room service while pooping I guess. The hotel amenities like the pool were closed and chairs were covered and certain areas seemed rundown for a 5-star hotel. Overall, ok experience.

This is my second stay. I still think the location of the hotel is great, and the staff is very helpful. I found this time the breakfast options narrowed in some products and expanded in other ones that seem to adapt more to international visitors. I would come back to this hotel in the future if I come back to Madrid.

The check-in procedure is similar to the packing list, passport registration, simple filling in the country, city, mobile phone number, and signature. The hotel facilities are relatively simple, but the price is low. There is a bus at the door of the hotel, which is convenient for travel. There is no kettle in the room, but the hygiene is OK.

The hotel turned out to be perfect for my 5day trip to Madrid. The room was spacious and clean, very well-lit, with electric kettle, fridge and complement water available in the room. The location is great, it is literally just a few steps from the hotel to line 5 El Carmen station. City center ia easily accessible on foot if you like walking. Also easy to take the subway to the airport. There are shops and supermarkets on the same street next to the hotel. The reception staff all speak English very well and are helpful. All in all, very safisfied with my stay.

The location is remote, suitable for self-driving, the room is spacious, the facilities are a little old, the service staff is enthusiastic, and the room is quite clean. It is not bad during holidays. It is worth choosing.

small room in a hostel close to the metro. central location, air conditioning, hot water, the best thing is that there is a shower room in the room. Quite comfortable beds, clean bed linen, new plumbing. there is a shop on the ground floor. where you can buy many of the things a traveler might need. Nearby there are cafes, snack bars, fruit shops, and others. at the reception they only spoke to us in Spanish)

NNo sugar ,but coffeeThe room was clean and tidy. The breakfast spread was extensive, with options catering to Chinese palates, including local fried dough sticks (youtiao) and dumplings, all of which tasted great. There was also a wide selection of fresh fruit. The only minor downside was the typical European hotel amenity setup – no complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers provided in the room. The location is also excellent, right next to Retiro Park and the Prado Museum.

Hygiene: The hygiene is great. Environment: The surrounding environment is convenient and it is also convenient to the subway. Service: The front desk is very friendly.

Amazing
TTraveler 123Amazing location! The Hotel Palace Madrid is a historic and luxurious hotel located in the heart of the city. The building dates back to 1912 and has been beautifully restored to its former glory. From the moment you step through the grand entrance, you're transported to a world of elegance and sophistication. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Madrid. It's within walking distance of many of the city's most popular attractions, including the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, and the Gran Via. The hotel is also close to several Metro stations, making it easy to travel further afield. The service at the Hotel Palace Madrid is exceptional. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always on hand to assist with anything you need. From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel like a valued guest, and the service only gets better from there. The rooms at the hotel are spacious, beautifully decorated, and filled with natural light. They're equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a large, comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, and a luxurious bathroom. The attention to detail is impressive, with little touches like fresh flowers and complimentary water bottles adding to the overall experience. One of the highlights of staying at the Hotel Palace Madrid is dining at one of the hotel's restaurants. The hotel has several dining options, including the Michelin-starred Restaurant La Terraza del ******, which serves innovative and delicious cuisine. The hotel also has a beautiful bar, which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cocktail after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's facilities are excellent. There's a fully equipped gym, a spa, and a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city. The hotel also has several meeting and event spaces, making it an ideal choice for business travelers. Overall, the Hotel Palace Madrid is a truly exceptional hotel. From its beautiful architecture and elegant decor to its exceptional service and prime location, everything about this hotel is top-notch. If you're looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Madrid, I highly recommend the Hotel Palace Madrid.

GGuest UserThe apartment was hugely overpriced. The location is nowhere near the plush area of Retiro as suggested by the apartment description. The apartments are tiny with no natural light. They are very dark and depressing. The water takes a long long time to heat up. There has been money wasted on fancy bathroom sinks and wooden floors when comfort should be the number one priority. The beds are really terrible and really hard. I developed back and shoulder pain within a few hours of trying to sleep on the bed. The human spine is S shaped and if you lie on a decent bed your shoulder and hip should sink into the mattress. This offers vital comfort and support. The pillows are really cheap and uncomfortable and in the two upstairs apartments you can hear the people in the next room loud and clear. The equipment in the kitchen is very restricted. Not enough knives and forks and the cutlery provided is not suitable. Steak knives all two of them to spread butter!!! Nothing to cut loaves or other food stuffs. Half a tea towel and no kitchen towel which is not practical to buy for a 1-3 night stay. Two toilet rolls, not enough for a 3 person stay. Considering the extortionate price charged for the tiny so called Junior Suite, the owner should have provided more comfort and facilities and the beds are truly terrible and lack of sound proofing being able to hear my neighbours farting was pretty awkward. However, the lady on Reception Mayumi was absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was kind and considerate and a real asset to the company. The male members of staff were not remotely helpful whoever they were. Not a place I would recommend and certainly not at that price with beds that feel like you are sleeping on the floor with a sheet and pillow!

MMrWong888After traveling extensively in China, returning to Spain highlighted some noticeable differences, particularly in Madrid. While the city and its infrastructure may feel a bit outdated compared to other global hubs, the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá was a decent and comfortable place to stay. The hotel’s location is its strongest feature—it’s directly across from Chamartín Train Station and its adjacent subway station. While the train station and subway facilities are not the most modern or impressive, the convenience of being so close to transportation hubs is a definite plus. The street leading to the hotel is a bit unusual, set on a slope, but it’s manageable. The room was clean and functional, though slightly dated. The beds were comfortable, albeit with older spring mattresses that could use an upgrade. Despite the slightly worn feel, the room provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploring or work. The standout feature of this hotel was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to different tastes. It was easily the highlight of my stay and set a great tone for the day. The service was also pleasant and friendly, which is a nice touch, especially given the sometimes lackluster service standards in Spain. The staff were helpful and made the stay more enjoyable. Overall, while the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá may not be the most modern or luxurious option, it offers good value for its location, a comfortable stay, and an exceptional breakfast. If you’re looking for a convenient and reliable place to stay near Chamartín Station, this hotel is a solid choice.

GGuest UserThe hotel is not bad. The bed is big, comfortable, everything for a comfortable stay is there, wi-fi is good. But before that I rented an apartment for the same money closer to the center, I liked them more. However, for one night it is quite possible to stay in this hotel. There is a metro nearby. It is 40-50 minutes to the center on foot, but I went for a walk. The room is old, but clean, you can leave your things for free. However, the hotel has good audibility, you can hear all conversations, but at night no one made noise.
