The hotel is a bit small, but it's considered one of the better hotels in Hobart. There are no slippers provided. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from the city center. Overall, it's not bad. We were lucky to see the aurora australis during our three-night stay.

My stay at Wrest Point in Hobart was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is ideally located in Sandy Bay, right by the waterfront. The room was spacious and clean with excellent natural light, and the stunning bay and mountain views from the window were truly refreshing. The facilities are well-maintained and comprehensive, and the free parking is a huge plus for those traveling by car. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay overall. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend it!

I stayed here while on a business trip. The staff are friendly and professional. The location is very convenient and although the hotel is next door to the theatre being renovated there is very little inconvenience to hotel guests. I think they should have a fitness centre. There are parks nearby ideal for a good walk or run. The hotel is older but clean and comfortable.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of the CBD! Great Location and Views The hotel is perfectly located right within the CBD. Getting here from the airport was incredibly easy and convenient via the SkyBus. The room featured a fantastic, unblocked view of the city skyline, which was a highlight of the stay. Comfortable and Clean Rooms The room offered good enough space to unpack and relax comfortably. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained throughout the visit. Wonderful Service The staff truly made a difference. Every team member encountered was friendly, welcoming, and highly helpful with all requests. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers looking for a seamless city stay!

The hotel is located in the city centre. Parking costs about AUD 40+ per day. Overall it was okay. We stayed three nights with breakfast included. The breakfast was fine, but one staff member in the restaurant was extremely impolite and unprofessional. It left a bad impression — and I’m not sure whether her behaviour was linked to us being Asian, though she herself appeared to be Asian.

I did not expect that the hotel is actually in the distance good for walking including visiting Botanical Garden.

Stayed for one night for a work conference. The check in was smooth and quick, I opted for convenient on-site parking and dining in-house. The Charcoal restaurant food and wine menu was excellent, service was attentive and fast. Check out was easy. I walked into town to buy some items required for my work, its central location is commendable. I highly recommend staying here.

Overall, I was very satisfied. I didn't experience any of the soundproofing issues mentioned in other reviews. The room was also much larger than the Ibis I stayed in later, far exceeding my expectations. There was lotion at the sink, as well as a dedicated hand soap. The mountain view from the window was beautiful, and the hotel staff were very friendly. The only minor drawback was a dark mark on the bedsheet, possibly from a washing machine or similar equipment. However, this small flaw doesn't detract from the overall experience, and I would definitely stay here again next time!

This hotel is simply a vacation paradise! The most delightful surprise was the hotel's own vibrant farm. Waking up to the crisp sound of roosters crowing in the morning, surrounded by nature, and getting to feed adorable, therapeutic small animals up close – it was truly a charming and rustic experience. I definitely need to come back in the summer to enjoy the fun of picking fresh cherries straight from the tree! This place perfectly blends luxury and comfort with idyllic countryside scenery, offering complete relaxation for both body and mind. Highly recommend!
