The appearance of the hotel was very good. The reception area was very clean and quiet. Each floor had an automatic air freshener which meant that the hotel smelt very good. The hotel room had a lovely big bed which was very comfortable. There was a fridge and kettle in the room. The hotel was a twenty minute bus ride from the center of Genoa and once we had downloaded the app it was very easy to buy tickets. The number 1 bus is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the bus is every 11 minutes. We discovered a lovely area to eat on the day we left. Leave the hotel and turn right. At the traffic lights turn right . After about three minutes you will find a shopping area with restaurants. We were short of time so went to Tumbler. The staff were very friendly and we had lovely panini. On the negative side, we were woken at 6am with a male shouting very loudly in his room. Later that day, the man was shouting again. I went outside our room and the man was shouting very loudly at a lady in his room. There was a very clear domestic abuse situation with the man hitting the woman which I tried to stop and also contacted reception. Reception asked the lady if there was any problem and she said no so the receptionist left. I said to the receptionist that the man was being violent towards the woman and she said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could put security on the floor in case anything further happened and she said no. I felt the receptionist could have done a lot more in this situation. I imagine that these situations do occur from time to time so the hotel should give staff guidance on the steps to take to safeguard clients. I felt that the staff at the hotel were not very welcoming. I saw at least four receptionist and not one of them smiled or looked happy to be working. Any time I approached them for information they gave the information but without smiling and were very unenthusiastic.. I would stay at the hotel again as it is convenient for the airport and quieter than staying in the centre. It is also very clean and I got a good night's sleep. Be aware, we booked a taxi from the airport which is 1.1 km away and we're charged 18,50 euros.

This was potentially the best customer service I have ever received at a hotel. Unfortunately, I missed the name of the woman who checked me in, but she was wonderfully warm and bubbly. She welcomed me to Vernazza, offered genuinely helpful advice that enhanced my visit, and remained exceptionally kind and attentive throughout my short stay. The room was small, as is common in the compact villages of the Cinque Terre, but it was comfortable, clean and excellent value for such a popular destination. The breakfast spread was also wonderful. The location could hardly be more convenient. The hotel is only moments from the railway station, which was particularly appreciated when arriving with luggage, while the village, walking trails, trains and boat services are all within easy reach. It was an ideal base for exploring the Cinque Terre by foot, rail and, of course, by boat. As one of Vernazza’s relatively few traditional hotels, Pensione Sorriso also offers visitors an opportunity to support a local hospitality business rather than staying in a holiday flat. In small and heavily visited communities such as this, I believe that is well worth considering. A welcoming, comfortable and memorable place to stay, made particularly special by the outstanding hospitality.

Great location in Monterosso, just a 2 minute walk to the beach and promonade where all the restaurant and bars are. We had a great welcome from our hosts who met us outside. My partner is pregnant with twins, so they gave us a car parking space outside our accommodation and helped to carry our suitcases up to the room for us. The room was stunning with a balcony overlooking the sea! A really nice size with all ammendmenties included. Fridge, Beach Towels, Slippers, Tea and Coffee facilities and toiletries in the bathroom. There is also a communal kitchen area outside the room with a coffee maker for extra coffee and teas. This is also where breakfast is served. We took ours to our room to eat on the balcony. The room has aircon but it was very slow at cooling the room. It is best to keep the shutters and tender down in the heat of summer to try and keep the room as cool as possible during the day. There are also alot of stairs to get up to the fourth floor where the rooms are with no lift. So bare this is mind if you struggle with stairs. For us, it was good for the exercise :) Overall, we loved this place and location and would definitely stay again! Great pizza restaurant below the appartment and a big car park across the street for parking.

An excellent guesthouse with fantastic service. Communication with the owner via WeChat was superb; they were always available to answer any questions. When I checked out, I accidentally left some belongings behind and was rushing to catch my train. I thought it was too late to retrieve them, but the owner instantly replied, assuring me I could return, and even remotely unlocked the door for me.

The building is nicely located - 5 mins walk to Genova Brignole Station, few mins to Via San Vicenzo. It is a historical palazzo with very nice entryway and public spaces. The rooms itself was tidy and nice, with a beautiful balcony. The hosts are extremely welcoming and provided useful informations on the city, also some extras to the room like cookies :)

This is the best hotel I had ever stayed in Europe. It is an old historical building and all interiors had been renovated. The best part is they had kept a historical lift and overall interiors was beautifully arranged. Location is 5-stars because this hotel is only 6 minutes walk to train station and 10 minutes to central area. Amenities is also 5-stars because this hotel offers a FULL minibar of drinks including two bottles of water, two pop drinks, one bottle of juice and peanuts and they are all free of charge. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soap and shower cap are fully provided. Cleanliness is also 5-stars. We had messed up the room with two big full luggages of things and the housekeroinh had helped us to tuck in our two luggages under the window sill Seevuxe is also 5-stars. We bought two bottles of wines and they provided us with wine glasses and cork with great service. Also it was our first time in Genova, the receptionist had detailedly explained which area we should go and how to go. Overall, it is the best hotel i had stayed so far.

I stayed at the Best Western Hotel Nazionale in Sanremo and could not have wished for a better experience. The location is simply perfect: right on Corso Matteotti, just steps away from the famous Teatro Ariston and the sea. The property is elegant and well-maintained in every detail. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered the comfort you would expect from a true 4-star hotel. Breakfast, served on the top floor with a spectacular view of the sea and city center, was one of the highlights of my stay: fresh products, a wide selection, and impeccable service. A special thank you to the entire staff, who were exceptionally kind and professional—always ready to fulfill every request with a smile. A particular mention to the reception team, quick and extremely helpful with information and recommendations about the city. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Sanremo at its best: unbeatable location, excellent comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I will definitely be back!

We had a really lovely stay here. The staff, many of whom are from Italy, were incredibly friendly, kind and helpful throughout. We had a small issue during check-in, but they were very patient and did their best to sort it out quickly, which we really appreciated. It’s a great place to stay with children. Everything was handled efficiently whenever we needed help, and there are plenty of facilities to keep everyone happy — including a restaurant and bar, a nice area for breakfast and evening activities, and a play area for kids to burn off some energy. For those who enjoy music, there are instruments like a piano, guitar and ukulele to use. There’s also a gym for anyone who enjoys sports and exercise. The outdoor kitchen area is a lovely touch, and our room was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. Overall, a very positive experience and we would happily stay again.

We stayed at Hotel San Desiderio for four nights, and everything exceeded our expectations. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring, making us feel as if we were staying in our own home rather than a hotel. Their warm hospitality made our trip even more special. The location is excellent, just a short walk from both the beach and the train station, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Our room was spotless and well maintained throughout our stay. We also loved the atmosphere of the hotel, which is beautifully decorated with photographs and paintings that give it a unique and artistic charm. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Hotel San Desiderio to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and authentic place to stay. We would be happy to return in the future.

The worst Novotel I've ever stayed in, bar none. The space was acceptable and the service was enthusiastic, but the stains on the towels and sheets seemed to have never been changed. Since I was driving from southern Italy to southern France as a stopover, the location was very convenient for me, close to the highway exit.
