"The hotel's facilities are good, but the service, management, and overall guest experience are severely lacking. 1. The hotel phone is consistently unreachable. 2. When I wanted to extend my stay and inquired about room rates, the sales team was unresponsive – no calls returned, no messages replied to. I waited half the morning with no follow-up, which is completely irresponsible. 3. A front desk staff member promised to bring a new room card to my room, but after waiting two hours, nothing happened. 4. I was trying to relax in the lobby bar around 11 AM, but was constantly disturbed by the deafening noise of carpet cleaning and sofa repairs. 5. Breakfast was very disappointing."

"Returning to G Hotel Gurney again, I requested room 414, which isn't facing the main road, and it was wonderfully quiet. This time, they provided plenty of hangers. After my tour, I had time to enjoy the giant TV, which felt like watching a movie, and I could connect to YouTube and Netflix. There were two different pillow options to choose from, the air conditioning in the room was perfectly cool, and the shower head was comfortable! One thing to note is that the sink drains a bit slowly. There's a water dispenser near the elevators on each floor, which was convenient for refilling my water bladder before hiking. I had dinner at the Chinese restaurant in the hotel's basement, and the Chinese food was excellent, highly recommended! For breakfast, they had glutinous rice wraps and delicious pastries. Coffee, tea, milk, and soy milk were all healthy drink options. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay."

"My challenging time in Bishkek was completely transformed by the Imperial Hotel. On June 13th, I first checked into a guesthouse run by locals. It was old, small, dark, and I couldn't communicate with anyone, and the breakfast they served was inedible. By the fifth day, I was at my breaking point. I went to a Chinese restaurant for a meal and was told about a Chinese-run guesthouse I could switch to. Seeing fellow Chinese people and being able to speak Mandarin made me happy for two days, but I couldn't stand the strong cigarette smoke from my compatriots. Switching to the Imperial Hotel on June 21st was a great blessing 🙏. Mr. Ma and his wife put their hearts into running their newly renovated hotel, making every guest feel the warmth and comfort of home. The breakfast here is incomparable to the previous two places. They also often invite guests to drink tea in their comfortable living room, and even share lunch and dinner together... As a result, the hotel is fully booked every day, and it's hard to get a room 😁 Thumbs up for the Imperial Hotel! 👍👍👍"

"I stayed at the hotel for one night after an overnight flight. I checked into my room very quickly. I paid for the room through Trip.com and paid in rubles right there at reception, which was very convenient since our cards don't work in Bishkek. The room was spacious, with a great view. The hotel is convenient for accessing the city's main attractions. I'd like to highlight the friendly staff and the decent breakfasts. I would recommend this hotel to friends."

"This was my second stay at the hotel and I would not recommend if you are sensitive to smoke smells. The hotel seems to cater to many Chinese tourists whom seem to smoke quite a bit despite the hotel being non-smoking. Management should try to fix the problem. When we complained; they said there were no more rooms and offered no solution. Only when pushed they claim they would help, which was only an open window, and it did not make a major difference. Also location is sub optimal, you needed a taxi to go anywhere meaningful. Also hotel seems quite dated but basic amenities were there. Simple breakfast."

"It was very hard to find at night. Took the taxi driver 30 mins circling around the block to find the hotel entrance! Takes about 30 mins to walk downtown. However, the receptionist was very helpful. Gave tips on restaurants and where to shop."

The breakfast was poor the buffet area had an unpleasant smell. Even worse, the food was unhygienic; I literally found a hair among the nuts! Personally, I couldn’t find any options that suited me.The service was extremely poor and unprofessional. The lights in my room were broken, I informed the staff, but they never fixed them. They are completely uncooperative and lack any polite manner of communication. To make matters worse, at checkout, they blindsided me with an extra charge just because there was some lipstick stain on the blanket! What is the purpose of housekeeping if guests are penalized for accidental stains? Isn't cleaning exactly what they are paid to do?They should be transparent about their policies instead of exploiting customers with sudden, hidden fees. This hotel is incredibly greedy and values making money over customer satisfaction. I absolutely don’t recommend this place."

SSarah H.Best hotel we have stayed in throughout our trip across Central Asia. The location is central, close to everything, there are several supermarkets in the neighbourhood. When the sky is clear, you can even see the mountains from your room, it’s beautiful. Everything was great and the people who work here are so nice and helpful. Regarding the laundry however, we appreciate the fact that it is free and that they have someone doing it for us, but we would have preferred a self-service laundry where we can do it ourselves as they didn’t even fold or dry our clothes, they just dumped them in a bag, all wet and crumpled. We were told that the dryer was not working but they could’ve just hung the clothes on something and waited a couple hours for them to dry before returning them. Also, we were told that the phone does not work yet in the room as the hotel is still new and that we could contact them via WeChat, unfortuantely we couldn’t download WeChat with our international phone numbers so we had to go downstairs every time we needed something. That being said, they were super helpful every time we needed anything. They even had a translator and a lovely man dressed as a military who kept welcoming us with a big smile and helped us whenever he was there. We also liked the Chinese breakfast, it was hearty, diverse and comforting. They have all the amenities you could need, the room is clean and spacious with the comfiest beds and high quality sheets, slippers, bathrobes; the bathroom is spacious, cozy and practical and more importantly clean. There is also a bidet. They provide water, fruits, free laundry and whatever you need. You can use the microwave in the basement to heat your food and there's always tea, coffee and water. They also brought a mini fridge to the room after I left a comment about it, this was such a nice and thoughtful gesture, thank you! I have extended our stay several times as we needed to rest and I don't regret my decision.

GGuest UserThe worst experience ever in my life. I am willing to bear all legal responsibility for the facts I have stated. At approximately 2:30 a.m., an unknown man entered my room without authorization. This is an extremely serious security breach. Had I been a female guest sleeping alone, or had I been asleep with valuables exposed, the consequences could have been far worse. If my belongings had been stolen while I was asleep, what protection or recourse would I have had as a Wyndham guest? This incident occurred in the middle of the night, when guests are most vulnerable. I consider myself fortunate that nothing worse happened. However, I was unable to sleep for the remainder of the night due to fear and anxiety. Even today, I do not feel secure leaving my belongings in the room. I have had to carry my laptop, passport, and all valuables with me because I no longer trust the hotel’s security procedures. What further disappointed me was how the situation was handled. When I rushed to the reception immediately after the incident, the only response I received was a brief verbal “sorry.” There was no explanation, no reassurance, and no immediate action taken to address my concerns. Additionally, my keycard had been revoked without notice, forcing me to return to the reception again. As of today, no manager has reached out to me in person to provide a formal apology or explanation. The absence of proper follow-up makes the situation even more concerning. If hotel management considers this a minor mistake, that is frankly alarming. As I wasn’t able to sleep at all due to the hotel mistakes And they reject to refund me for the first night’s accommodation fees. And until now, I don’t receive any official apologies from them. Be careful, what happened to me might be happen to you as well.

GGuest UserI used this hotel for a business trip and had a very positive experience. Location & Dining: The location is excellent for dining options. There are two cafes directly across the street, and additional restaurants and cafes in the neighboring block, making meal times very convenient. While the on-site restaurant was under renovation and unavailable, the hotel provided a free breakfast voucher for a nearby café, which was a great alternative. I'm excited about the future, as the renovated restaurant is expected to become NAVAT, a highly-regarded establishment in the city. I look forward to staying here again after the renovation is complete! Amenities & Comfort: I was very appreciative of the complimentary amenities in the room, including the free bottled water, electric kettle, and supplies for coffee and tea. The restroom and shower were clean and very easy to use. Service: The hotel staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. They promptly handled my sudden request for a taxi and provided very detailed and useful information about the city. Their hospitality significantly enhanced my stay. Overall: Highly recommended. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service and a convenient location.

The rooms are highly comfortable and cozy, offering great value for money with their affordable rates. A big highlight for me was the breakfast. The menu is quite varied and provides the perfect, hearty fuel needed for a full day of physical activities. Special thanks to the receptionist, Абина! She was immensely helpful, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. It was truly a pleasure meeting and chatting with her. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bishkek!

The location is perfect, literally right in the city center and super close to everywhere, which made everything so easy during my trip. Restaurants, cafés, shopping, and attractions were all nearby. What made this hotel really special for me was the staff. Every single person was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Since I stayed for a week, they even started recognizing me, always smiling, saying hello every time I walked in, and making me feel really comfortable and at home. Their hospitality felt very sincere and warm, not forced at all. The service was amazing from beginning to end, and whenever I needed help, they were always ready to assist with kindness and professionalism. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bishkek.
