We stayed for 3 nights and the place was very clean. They cleaned our room everyday, which was nice. The location is great, just a short walk to Faiza Restaurant and Globus Supermarket.
The staff were friendly, always smiling, and very accommodating. They even let us rest in the lobby and stored our luggage when we arrived early before check-in time.
Amenities are a bit limited though there’s a small café but no gym or sauna. Breakfast is basic and almost the same every day, but it’s fine for a quick start to the day.
Overall, it’s a nice and comfortable hotel. Good location, clean rooms, and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.
The room was very nice, and the breakfast was plentiful and catered to Chinese tastes.
The service was also very good, and they upgraded my room.
The location is conveniently situated between the new and old areas, making it easy to get to both.
We chose this hotel for its breakfast and the on-site bar-restaurant. What we got was a pretty old hotel. The bar wasn't open, and it was hard to find decent places to eat nearby. Breakfast was brought to the room, and we had to choose our meal and coffee type from a menu daily. However, they consistently forgot the coffee, so we had to remind them every day and wait 10-15 minutes after the rest of breakfast arrived. Out of 4 days, breakfast was only delivered 3 times; one day, they simply said the chef hadn't shown up. They promised a refund for one day's breakfast, but it never came. The room was very cold in December; the air conditioning was old and noisy. The shower drain was clogged, and by the second day, there was a sewage smell. On the plus side, the linens were clean, towels fresh, and slippers were provided. They offered to move us to an ”upgraded” room, which we checked out – it was indeed spacious, looked newer, and was more pleasant. However, the next morning, we were told that room wasn't available and were given a different one, which wasn't much better than our original room. Overall, everything felt disorganized and chaotic. Communication on WhatsApp was very polite, though. Getting to the city center is a long journey, and you spend a lot of time in traffic if you take a taxi. We haven't stayed at other hotels in the city, so we have nothing to compare it to. This hotel might be okay for a couple of days. All in all, not terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement.
Pros:
- Good location close to the city center.
- Quite modern architecture and interior.
- Not bad breakfast.
Cons:
- Our rooms were not ready when we arrived around 18:00. At our request, we received welcome drinks as compensation.
- Although we asked for two rooms on the side of the hotel opposite the road, one of our rooms still faced the road.
- Even with the windows closed, the road could be heard at night (7th floor). This worsened our sleep.
- Two types of pillows. One of the pillows was really uncomfortable.
- The air conditioners in both rooms did not work, the remote displays showed an error.
- Quite weak water pressure in the showers.
- The girl at the reception could not give us any documents when we checked out.
As a result, the hotel, in our opinion, does not correspond to the level of 5 stars. Its level is 4 stars.
The front desk staff spoke excellent English, which is not common in Kyrgyzstan. The room was also quite large, though a little dimly lit. While the facilities weren't new, they were well-maintained, and the bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast was also quite good, with delicious flavors and the coffee being homemade.
The breakfast was varied and well-chosen. As a traveler, I felt comfortable and safe. The reception was always staffed and friendly. It was a bit noisy in the hotel room due to outside fans, but I was able to change rooms. There's a supermarket and several cafes across the street. I'm very satisfied!
Had an incredibly comfortable stay at the Kyrgyz Star Hotel in Bishkek! ✨
The deluxe double room I stayed in truly surprised me – it was super spacious with an open layout, never feeling cramped at all. What I loved most was the bathtub; after a day of exploring, a hot bath back at the hotel was just what I needed to unwind!
The hotel's location is also very convenient, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast offers a wide selection. If you're looking for a comfortable hotel with great value for money in Bishkek, I highly recommend the Kyrgyz Star. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit! 🏨💯
When I stepped into the Kyrgyz City Hotel, I started an unforgettable journey. This hotel is like a window into the unique charm of Kyrgyzstan, showing me the warm hospitality and unique style of this land.
1. Location: The heart of the city, a convenient choice
The hotel is located in the core area of the city, close to the transportation hub, and easily accessible to the airport and railway station, which greatly facilitates travelers who have just arrived. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops around. Wandering around, you can not only taste local specialties such as roast lamb and pilaf, but also pick out exquisite and unique handicrafts and deeply experience the urban life of Kyrgyzstan.
2. Service: Thoughtful and considerate, making guests feel at home
The hotel staff's service is outstanding. From the warm and efficient reception at the front desk to the meticulous daily cleaning by the room service staff, everything reflects their care for the guests. I once needed to adjust my accommodation arrangements due to a change in my itinerary. The staff not only did not complain, but also actively helped with coordination and provided many practical suggestions, making me feel the warmth of home in a foreign country.
3. Rooms: Comfortable and elegant, blending tradition
The guest rooms are uniquely decorated, ingeniously combining modern comfort with Kyrgyz traditional elements. The bed was soft, ensuring that I had a deep sleep every night; the interior was decorated with exquisite Kyrgyz carpets and ethnic wall hangings, creating a strong local atmosphere. The room is spacious and bright, with complete facilities and stable high-speed internet, allowing me to switch freely between leisure and work.
4. Dining: a feast for your tongue, a taste of flavor
The hotel restaurant is a gourmet adventure. The breakfast is rich and varied. In addition to the common Western bread and ham, there are also local specialties such as steamed buns and yogurt to start a full and energetic day. Dinner is a great opportunity to savor traditional delicacies such as horse sausage and ghee cakes. The chef’s superb cooking skills bring out the deliciousness of the ingredients to the extreme, and every bite is an in-depth exploration of Kyrgyz food culture.
5. Facilities: All-inclusive, meeting diverse needs
The hotel gym has brand new and complete equipment, which meets my habit of exercising during travel. The leisure area is warm and cozy, a great place to chat with friends or read alone. In addition, the hotel also provides car rental services, allowing guests to explore the surrounding magnificent natural scenery by car, such as the azure waters of Lake Issyk-Kul and the majestic snow-capped mountains of the Tianshan Mountains.
Kyrgyzstan City Hotel is the best choice whether for business or leisure travel. With its excellent service and comfortable environment, it allows every guest to immerse themselves in the unique charm of Kyrgyzstan. I look forward to our next meeting.
It's around the 400-500 range in China.
The breakfast was good, though.
The refrigerator in the room kept turning on every 20 minutes, which was annoying.
In short, these 13 hotels in China were horrible compared to the one in China.
The room is clean and hygienic, mountain view room, beautiful scenery, the room price is a little expensive, there is a horse and chicken at your own expense, free swimming pool, swimming trunks are required

MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiMy stay at Sheraton Bishkek in the Deluxe King Room with City View was fantastic. The room was spacious, elegant, and offered a stunning panoramic view of the city, making it a delight to wake up to each morning. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the modern amenities in the room added a luxurious touch to the experience. The hotel staff were attentive and professional, always going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I also enjoyed the hotel's facilities, especially the rooftop bar and the well-equipped fitness center. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality dishes. Overall, it was a superb stay, and I would highly recommend Sheraton Bishkek for anyone visiting the city.

AAnonymous Userthe stay was great in this hotel. Very clean, quiet and pleasant room. The food was very good. In addition, the incredibly nice and helpful Mrs. Aidana at the reception, whom I greet very warmly and thanks for all!

GGuest UserThis newly opened Chinese hotel is clean and hygienic, with excellent service. The front desk has Chinese speakers and an interpreter, and the breakfast is generous. When you need a taxi, you can call the front desk. When you need a taxi back home, you can call the hotel. It's very convenient.

DDaniel SoonFriendly staff. Check-in/out process was efficient and fast. Room/breakfast was basic but great value for the amount paid. Not exactly in the prime sight-seeing area but that is offset by their relatively affordable local ride hailing service and the walkable distance to multiple dining options and convenience stores.
GGuest UserCheck in/out was smooth with no problems. There was a breakfast but I didn’t try it due to eating late previous nights. Wifi is good and strong. Good shower but water pressure drops significantly in the morning as all the guests are using the bathroom - outwith those times it is great.
Room was clean and comfortable. Kettle/tea/coffee provided. There is a mini market(Magazine) 2mins away across the street for water, drinks, smacks etc I had a car so I was using parking. It’s a small space for only a handful of vehicles but I had no problem parking there. I would book again next time I am in Bishkek. Yandex Taxi are incredibly cheap to use so it is no big deal about the location.
A slight smell from the toilet now and again was the only minus and I had to really think about that.
