hilldgThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Vang Vieng. The night market and a 7-Eleven are just 200 meters away, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars. The breakfast was decent. However, during check-in, I was in line, and a Caucasian woman came after me, but the front desk surprisingly started assisting her first. I wasn't going to let that slide, so I immediately insisted on being served next. To my surprise, the female receptionist then proceeded to handle both my check-in and the Caucasian woman's at the same time! The service was lacking, but the front desk was very eager to add me on WeChat to promote tour packages. I've stayed at various hotels under this chain, including Eastin Grand Phayathai and OZO, and this Vang Vieng location is probably the worst. It's likely an older property, as the TV had static, and the toilet seat was broken. You don't even need a key card to go up to your room. If it's around 300-400 [currency], maybe it's acceptable, but anything more than that, I'd say skip it.

The room was spacious and had a balcony, very clean and tidy. There's a small pool downstairs, and the overall environment is lovely. You can enjoy beautiful sunsets from the rooftop terrace. The front desk service was warm and attentive, though I needed a translation app to communicate – it would be even better if they had staff who spoke Chinese. Overall, it's a good hotel.

Anonymous UserThe hotel isn't on the main street, and there's an extra charge to get there from the train station. However, the surroundings are truly beautiful, with lush green rice paddies that look like something out of a fairytale. There's a lagoon nearby which is also easy to access. Overall, it was a good experience.

The stay was okay, but unfortunately the staff were not very friendly and didn’t even greet guests, which made me feel unwelcome. Also, the prices for renting a scooter were almost twice as high as at other places nearby. Overall, it was fine, but I expected a warmer atmosphere and fairer prices.

Anonymous UserThis hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Vang Vieng. If you're coming by the Laos-China railway, just hop on the green public minibus and tell the driver to drop you off at Ruby Mountain. It's only about a 10-minute ride. It's also close to motorcycle rental shops, so you can easily zip around the city. We rode to the Blue Lagoon and Pha Ngern viewpoint – the weather was amazing! The room was clean, the bathtub was comfortable, and the room had a pleasant fragrance. The TV could access YouTube, and there was a hairdryer. All the amenities provided were excellent. Highly recommended! The staff are Chinese and Black, and they communicate well in English. It made traveling around so easy. I loved it!

Absolutely amazing stay - it's clear that the owners take pride in their hotel. The pool and pool area is incredibly clean. The breakfast is fantastic, fresh fruit (varied and lots of it) contained in a fridge (so fresh, cold and no bugs like a lot of other hotels). Option of cooked breakfast every morning (eggs your way). The gentleman running the hotel is so helpful, he booked several tours for us, getting us a good price and being patient when we changed our plans several times. The communal areas are incredibly clean, the staff are always working hard doing something for the hotel. The location is excellent - walkable to everything in Vang Vieng, near some nice restaurants (Green, Vela, beats and bites). Everything in the room worked perfectly. The shower had great pressure and great temperature. Bed was extremely comfortable and the TV was loaded with apps to watch TV (we used Plex as it had English language shows and films). The bathroom has soap, shampoo and fresh towels daily. The rooftop is amazing, we actually used this instead of going to rooftop bars. The hotel sells beer in the fridge at reception.
Highly highly recommend this hotel.
Genuinely we could not find any fault with this hotel at all, we over heard many guests booking to stay extra nights expressing how happy they were with the stay at the hotel and the breakfast.

DianieThe room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is beautiful with excellent customer service. They even prepared Muslim-friendly breakfast for us — the chef kindly cooked porridge especially for us. We could easily book tours to Nam Xay Viewpoint and Blue Lagoon from the reception. The location is great too — near Elephant Crossing Hotel to watch the hot air balloons and close to Viengtara Vang Vieng Resort.

HeiressjloIts a nice hotel overlooking the Nam Song River with the nice view of Vang Vieng mountain ranges. However, its an old hotel and most of the tourists are chinese. One good thing is that its very accessible to the main street where you can book activities for paramotoring etc. Also, breakfast is good and quite filling, loved the soup. Overall, a good place to stay for a good price, esp that I was able to enjoy the view of the hot air balloons flying in the comfort of my balcony. View = superb 💯

Guest UserThe room is spacious, which is excellent for the price. What's also worth mentioning is the strong water pressure in the shower, which is rare to find in Vang Vieng, and the room even comes with a bathtub. There's also a small pool. Breakfast is good, and there's an à la carte option available. The freshly squeezed juice is great. The front desk staff and servers are all nice; one server even speaks Chinese. The only downside is that the room isn't soundproof, especially the two outermost balcony rooms with multiple glass doors, which not only lack sound insulation but also let in mosquitoes. However, the hotel's location is great, and you can get coffee anytime. There are seating areas both indoors and outdoors.

Upon arriving at the hotel, the receptionist, Nong Suan, checked us in and informed us that our room had been upgraded to the best suite on the seventh floor. She was very friendly and welcoming, which was excellent! The room itself was spacious with mountain views and a view of the pool. It had all the amenities one would expect from a hotel. The TV channels were limited and only in Chinese. Regarding the room conditions, there are several areas that need improvement. For instance, there were water stains on the ceiling around the air conditioning vents in both the living room and bedroom. In the bathroom, there were yellow stains around the toilet, and the showerhead and the area where you stand to shower had stains. The silicone sealant around the sink was moldy and black. If these issues were addressed, it would be fantastic.
