Overall, I had a pleasant stay at KSL Hotel & Resort. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The location is excellent as it’s directly connected to KSL City Mall, making shopping and finding food very convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite. The room could use a little updating in some areas, but it was still comfortable and worth the price. I would definitely consider staying here again for a short trip to Johor Bahru.

3day 2night solo trip to Johor bahru , Malaysia. To go to miilehill hotel, walk From city square, go to the opposite site Public Bank building, go up the walkway beside it, turn left, go pass a few building, you will see the wisma HYT, the hotel is next to a India garment shop. Check in time 3pm, very strict. They charge early fee if you want to check in before 3pm. But you can leave your bags at the lobby free, although there is no luggage tags given. You leave at your own risk. Cash deposit RM50, return to the guest when check out. Check out time is before 12noon, after that charge late check out fee. ChecK out is fuss free, hand in your room card, the receiptist talked to housekeeping through walkie-talkie, then return the cash RM50. Free wifi throughout the building, password sign placed on the check in counter. The building lift button, tallest level is 5, for room number start with 9. Room is clean, come with 1 hair dryer, 2 drinking water bottle, disposable tooth brush, tooth paste, shower cap. No disposable slipper amd mini fridge in the room. The water dispenser is in the hallway, near the lift lobby. Bathroom cum toilet is shared by the whole floor, 1 for men, 1 for women(2 wash basin, 2 toilet cum shower cubicle). You need to walk out from your room to go to the hallway, so bring your own slippers. The room card must keep in the cardholder for the electric to power on, cannot use some name card to put in the cardholder to the current on. Room cleaning upon request only, message through the hotel's Whatsapp number. I accidently changed the aircon to fan mode, I requested the help message at 12.30am, he came and helped to change back the setting, standing at the opening door, didn't come into the room. Good for respecting the cleanliness of the floor. The floor is laminated wood, so you can go bare foot, although I found it soapy and prefer to wear slippers.

Having stayed at Holiday Villa numerous times, I keep returning for one simple reason: consistency. It has become my go-to choice for trips to Johor Bahru, and it continues to deliver a reliable experience. Why I keep coming back:  Prime Location: Being located directly opposite KSL City Mall is incredibly convenient. You have immediate access to shopping, dining, and the cinema without the need to navigate heavy traffic or deal with long walks.  Hassle-Free Parking: This is a major selling point. Between the ease of self-parking and the convenience of the valet service (at a reasonable RM35), arrival and departure are always stress-free compared to the often chaotic access at the mall side.  Solid Breakfast: The breakfast variety is surprisingly good, with a nice spread that offers a solid start to the day. A Note on Value: I am fully aware that the room rates here are generally higher than at KSL Hotel. While it is a bit more of a premium, I find that the extra cost is absolutely justified by the seamless parking experience, the slightly quieter environment, and the overall maintenance of the property. Verdict: If you value efficiency, ease of access, and a hassle-free stay, the slight price premium is worth every penny. I will definitely be returning.

Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Wide spread of breakfast to choose from. There is free shuttle service to Mid Valley Southkey Shopping Mall so we don’t have to walk that far. Will definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

The hotel is located about a 25-minute Grab ride from the train station and is connected to two shopping malls, making it very convenient for food and shopping. LEGOLAND is only about a 15-minute drive away, and the hotel can arrange transportation, which is very convenient. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. However, the room's cleanliness needs improvement. We noticed dust on top of the tissue box and stains on the mirror. It would also be nice if hand towels were provided in the bathroom. In addition, the pillows were too flat and uncomfortable, which affected the quality of our sleep. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast buffet. When we arrived at around 8:15 a.m., almost all the food trays at every station were empty. Unfortunately, they were not replenished during our stay, and even when we left at 9:20 a.m., most stations were still empty. The only stations that consistently had food available were the nasi lemak and egg stations. Overall, the breakfast experience was very disappointing.

My friends and I stayed here recently and we were thoroughly impressed across the board. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very easy to get around. We were particularly happy with how exceptionally clean the rooms were. The service was top-notch—the staff were friendly and accommodating from check-in to check-out. With great amenities to top it off, it was a flawless 5-star experience. We will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, with excellent facilities including a kitchenette and comfortable bed. The hotel staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location is convenient, especially for travelers using JB Sentral and the Singapore checkpoint. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, and the swimming pool and gym were well maintained. Overall, the hotel provided great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Johor Bahru. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

I think it is a new hotel with new reno. Colourful neon kind of interior, considered a unique hotel for me, after travelling so many hotels in Kluang. Definitely 1 more the best. Highly recommended.

The Amari Hotel in Johor Bahru is located in a very strategic and convenient area. Most major facilities and shopping complexes are within a 10‑minute walking distance, making it easy to access food, retail, and entertainment without needing transportation. Cleanliness: Overall, the hotel maintains good cleanliness standards. However, some moss can still be found on the windows, especially those facing the swimming pool. Despite this minor issue, the general cleanliness of the hotel is satisfactory. Internet Connection: The Wi‑Fi connection is not stable. It frequently disconnects, which can be inconvenient for guests who rely on a steady internet connection. Parking: Parking is not free. Guests are charged RM12 per day with multiple entry allowed. However, parking is complimentary if the booking is made directly with the hotel.

Location near to ferry terminal,easy access to and from terminal to hotel because both in same building but different level. Ferry terminal at level two. Hotel lobby at level one. Service ok. Breakfast ok many choices But negative points, within and surrounding hotel there are clubs, noisy at night that disturb peace especially if your room is at lower level. Here the clubs n shop in building serve n sell liquor too...saw drunk lady outside hotel at night. Feel uncomfortable. Car park n hotel use different lift so has to ask security guard how to get to hotel lobby after parking at multilevel car park. Quite complicated so need to ask specific directions to hotel lobby from car park . Hotel building not new, but clean, room quite spacious, superb view from room at level 15 overlooking the sea.
