The room was good, the windows were large, the ventilation could be opened, and the view was satisfactory. Breakfast was good. The hotel is convenient for shopping, dining and sightseeing. The price is also fair.

The room was clean, except they fogot to clean the top part of the stove but nothing too much. Very big, spacious room with nice bathroom, nice view. All the places, from buying groceries and etc was very close if you go by a car. I felt very safe here, police was checking at night if everything was okay. I would just suggest to put extra towel for legs in the toilet, so the guests can put it on the floor, a stronger board to cut the food if the guest has bought it something, a small microwave to heat up the food if needed and something for heated food to put on, like a small plastic, or wooden plate so the kitchen area remains undamaged.

One of the few hotels near the railway and main bus station in the city. But next to walking streets and malls in the city. Building is heritage and look oldish. But the rooms are clean and bright. Service is efficient when you want it. Could move in and out of the hotel easily. Walking distance to Uppsala University and hotel helped me with finding direction to SLU at Ultuna, outskirts of Uppsala.

A wonderful stay with a historic touch
We had a fantastic time at the Akademihotellet! The location is perfect – right in the heart of Uppsala, right next to the university, the cathedral, and within walking distance of all the sights. We were particularly impressed by the hotel's rich history: important scientists once lived here, giving the stay a very special atmosphere.
The entire team was exceptionally friendly and accommodating – you feel welcome from the very first moment. A real highlight: free coffee and tea around the clock, which we really enjoyed, especially after walking through the city. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and delicious – with everything your heart could desire.
In summary: A cozy, historic hotel with a great team and many thoughtful details. A clear recommendation – we'd love to come back!

GGuest UserGreat place to stay in Uppsala. We can see the river from the room. Nice breakfast -- scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon,cold cuts, breads, herring, shrimp etc. There is an orange squeezer machine. Nice strawberry smoothie. Hot drinks are also provided.
Our room is very clean and beds are very comfortable.
Only tiny complaint was only get 1 package of coffee but many sugar. But no big deal as we can drink at breakfast.
Love this place and highly recommend to other travellers

AAbbey Abiodun OmosanyaReally appreciate been able to check-in very late after calling equally late. I had done a similar thing in Maidstone sometime ago only to get there late and told I have not booked earlier although I have not paid. It was to be I should pay at the hostel.
I was simply turned back only for them to sending me no show later. I simply ignored them.
The hostel is excellent, secure, warm, clean and centrally located in Uppsala.

GGuest UserIt is a business hotel, right across the road from the railway station and walking distance to the bus station. Stayed at this place upon arrival by train from Stockholm. Could walk to University of Uppsala for my meeting. Also bus to SLU for visit. Lots of eateries nearby. Also took a chance to see the nearby sights.
