I was in Brisbane for business and chose to stay at Voco Brisbane because it was near the conference I was required to attend. I had a great stay - staff were friendly and the rooms were a decent size. The view of the Brisbane river was also nice, particularly at sunrise. The hotel was conveniently located although the street was a little too secluded at night. But that is a personal preference. I will try other Voco hotels across Australia during my next work trip.
Nice views and day tour around island, however, we found leftover coffee from previous guest in the kettle in our room, which shouldn’t happen if the staff clean the room properly.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights, my experience was disappointing, especially the service.
On the first night, I couldn’t sleep due to loud machine noises. The next day, the staff agreed to change my room, but their attitude was quite unprofessional and not helpful.
When I explained the noise issue, one staff member asked me if I had never lived in an apartment before and said the noise was ”normal.” How come being woken up by the noises could be a normal thing? Also, no one offered any apology or showed care.
In addition, they never replied to my WhatsApp messages (which is the contact method they provided), and no one answered my phone calls. I even went to the front desk around 2 a.m. on the first night, but there was no staff on duty.
This resort is located in a quiet and green golf area so it’s very comfortable. It takes about 15 to 20 mins to anywhere by driving in the Gold Coast area. The resort has literally everything you need (pool, golf course, tennis court and free breakfast for us).
It’s not new premise though and needs some renovations soon. But things are kept generally clean and tidy.
At the price I paid, it’s great value for money. My kids love this place. Will come again.
Had an overall great stay. Disappointed they couldn’t move our friends room closer to us despite booking together. Food was expensive for average quality. Breakfast was good however. Would stay again

We booked the Ibis in anticipation of an early start to our European adventure. We preferred not to leave it to chance that we would get to the airport for an early start in time for our departure & we couldn’t have been more pleased at our decision. The hotel was clean, staff friendly & the shuttle to the International airport was on time & convenient
Don’t hesitate as it’s a good choice all round.
1. Lobby bar
Service at the lobby bar was horrible , no one serve after sitting there for 10 min. Waiting for almost 20 min for a bowl of fries. There are 3-4 staffs on the floor and it was not busy at that time.
2. Breakfast buffet
Lack of food variety. Not worth it for $59 pp.
found flies around cooking area.

The location is fairly convenient — about a 15-minute walk to the City Centre. Breakfast was complimentary; while it wasn't anything fancy, it covered the basics well, with scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, yogurt, oats, and more. The room felt a tad too small, especially compared to our stay at Holiday Inn Express Sunshine Coast, but it was clean and functional. One of the nice surprises was the communal area near reception, which features board games, a mini table tennis setup, and a foosball table — great for a bit of fun indoors. It was raining throughout our stay in Brisbane, and the hotel thoughtfully provided umbrellas, which was a nice touch!

The hotel looks pretty good and new, and it took around 75 minutes from Gatton to this hotel via a private car and costs us A$189. Hotel room in good size and conformable upon we checked in. Location is centralized and easily accessed to plenty of nearby cafes and shops. Value for money and definitely highly recommended if we back to brisbane next trip.

This hotel was perfect for an overnight stay after flying in from Turkey, catching the airport train to Roma St. Station and then catching an early morning train from Roma St. Station to Coffs. A very easy 400 metre walk between the hotel and the station when you exit via platform 10. The staff were efficient and friendly, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the bed super comfy. We will definitely stay here again as it worked perfectly for our travel plans.

Great
GGuest UserExcellent location, lovely apartment, and great facilities. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserFirstly, the room was excellent, ultra clean with bath and shower. The sheets were exemplary, bed very comfortable as were the pillows.
Bar fridge and microwave, toiletries in the bathroom.
Towels excellent.
Airconditioning excellent.
I was excited to see a very large, modern wide screen TV with onboard Android system.
Disappointed that no internet connection (so I could have used my own passwords for my streaming services.
Even more disappointed that there was no aerial connected, but I had brought my own tech and internet. I just switched off the TV.
Imagine my extreme displeasure to board the 3rd floor lift at 05:00 to have the doors closed - but no button worked!
I WAS TRAPPED IN THE LIFT!!!
I pressed the yellow emergency button for 5 seconds - no answer - pressed multiple times.
I phoned the hotel main number, so they could press the lift call button - no answer.
I phoned the 24/7 emergency 1300 number. The operator said she would send someone out - who would phone me with an ETA.
Getting anxious, being 60 years old with a heart condition, I dialled 000 to call the POLICE!
The dispatcher commended me on remaining so calm.
I assured her, being very hot in cramped spaces with very little air was definitely not conducive to my remaining calm.
They said to call 000 back if I got out before the fire brigade arrived.
Five minutes later I heard voices outside. Someone heard my banging on the lift doors and cries for help.
I GOT OUT
That night the guy on reception said sorry.
I explained that, although the room was marvelous - and that I did eventually get out, a man of my age and I'll health could have died - why wasn't anyone on duty to answer the damn lift emergency phone?
He said he was sorry.
AAnonymous UserThe room rate is cheap. I booked a cheaper hotel because I had to get up early to catch the flight. The only drawback was that I was given a disabled room on the lower floor. I had to get up early the next day so I didn't ask for a room change. The floor was high and I could smell the fumes from the restaurant downstairs. I recommend booking a room on a higher floor.
FFeixingdarenThe room layout is very good, suitable for family travel, there is a business district downstairs, and you can go to the supermarket to buy some ingredients to cook. It is no problem for a family of six to stay here, and the scenery outside the room is also OK. The disadvantage is that the cleaning is so-so. If you don't like Western breakfast, don't book it, because it is indeed a bit different from the taste of Asians.
AAnonymous UserHad a wonderful stay at cairns queen court! All the staff were super friendly. They always try their very best to help with our questions and provide suggestions to our trip planning! However, beware of the morning (ard 6:30am) house keeping if you wanna sleep in~ overall, I enjoyed staying there and had lot of fun in Cairns!
PPHILLIP JAMESThe Mantra Hotel has outstanding location. It is directly in front of the Woolworths supermarket - the best option in central Cairns. It's also virtually opposite (the esplanade side)the lagoon public beachfront swimming pool. Finally it's just a 5 minute walk from Cairns Cruise Terminal, with outstanding day trips to Green Island, Fitzroy Island and the Reef. I booked a sea view room. When you enter the room, you don't see the ocean, but a building across the road. However, the view from the balcony was amazing. The balcony overlooks the main features of lagoon on the sea front. During the day it is great view - the lagoon pools and sea in the background. At night you cannot see the sea (as to be expected) but you have the amazing lagoon lights, which makes it very desirable and even romantic. Our room was at the end of block, which overlooks a shopping mall (no car noise) - looking right from the balcony is the lagoon view and looking left is a mountain view. However, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm the sun comes directly into the balcony area, which means it unusable until sun sets. Of course if you don't mind baking in the sun on the balcony, this is not really a concern. The room itself is pretty basic. The mini fridge of OK and TV has domestic channels only - no cable TV for BBC/CNN. The bathroom is of a good size. There is combined shower & bath. However, when using the shower, it can slightly flood this bathroom. A shower curtain may be desirable because the glass panel is not sufficient enough. At $225 per night this hotel was not cheap and you can better deals by coming in the off-season OR going bit further down the esplanade, and choosing another hotel. The Mantra does have its own pool and it is wonderfully heated, with normal deck chairs you would expect at 4 star hotel. However, the pool gets very little natural sunlight, because it of its location between 2 buildings. Overall, the hotel has amazing location, and it is still recommended, despite the shortcomings mentioned. My final note: When we checked in, I was impressed with the level of service provided by the receptionist. She had a very welcome attitude and a wonderful personality.
FFreeman SThe location is right on the strand of the beach. The sunset is very beautiful at dusk. It is also very convenient to go to the coffee shop to the supermarket and walk for 10 minutes. Buy all the daily necessities and sit on the terrace to watch the sunset until dusk, which is pleasing to the eyes.
As for the service, there is basically nothing except Check In. It's not like living in a hotel in the Asia-Pacific region, with five-star service
In terms of price, in terms of 1000 heads, it does not include anything. It is really because there is no choice.
GGuest UserActually Myself and my colleague booked two family cabins for three nights. That is for work and we were the only guests. As per advertised on trip.com we paid for including buffet breakfast. Following day morning when we went for the restaurant we were told they have not been provided our names and we need to pay for breakfast.. So I had to bring my booking print out and show the restaurant staff breakfast was included. Even though they let us eat there they were not convinced and were suspicious I guess.
So that day my colleague went to see the manager of the accommodation and he said to me she was not convinced about breakfast was included. My colleague said it was very unpleasant and embarrassing. She told him I need to come down too. But later when I went to see her she said everything is sorted out and problem was they didn't know anything about Trip.com and trip.com send the booking through ******* and wrongly mentioned each of our booking included three adults and the extra payment is for additional adults as they understood. So the third day morning we didn't have issue at the breakfast as our names passed on. But unfortunately last day morning restaurant staff asked us to pay for breakfast because our name was not on the list. Luckily the chef remembered us and he was very politely let us eat. Even though we paid for breakfast we were at mercy of good people. Whole experience was very inconvenient and embarrassing. I think main bungle was done by Trip.com. But management did not bother to completely sort it out.
This was my first time with Trip.com and Aaok Moondarra Accommodation Village. My colleague said he did not have issues previously with Trip.com but all those occasions were without breakfast. Other than that accommodation was really good. It had got good Wi-Fi, YouTube and Netflix.
My advise is if you book through Trip.com for an accommodation with breakfast make sure with the accommodation that it has been correctly passed on to them.
PPingan2005The hotel is not bad, send the child to the University of Queensland, take a taxi to the school for 20 Australian dollars, it is a little problem to stay, Ctrip service is very good, and later solved,
GGuest UserNice yet very busy Hotel in a prime location on Gold Coast. not particularly well suited for children though okay. The balcony rails are a little bit low so one has to be particularly careful with children on the veranda though it is noted the hotel has a very clear label stating that children should be supervised at all times.
Breakfast is exorbitantly expensive for what it is but credit should be given that they did not charge a four year old.
The small swimming pools were quite nice and quite nice for a small child because they can be inside it and enjoy whole still close to a adult.
can speaking price versus quality of Hotel it was okay it wasn’t great value though the location was excellent. there would be better options for children for sure and for this reason would not likely rebook unless other better more child appropriate locations were not available.
