GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to FlixBus bus stop! There is a police station and halal supermarket for Muslim community behind the hotel. The hotel should consider having 2 front desk workers at a time instead of just 1 person manning the front desk. When there are group of people talking and running around at the hotel room corridor, I couldn’t find the front desk person to solve the problem as there was no one at the front desk.

JJoe the world citizenThe hotel is very nice and modern. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The room is spacious and clean. The only problem is the location. It is not located in the touristy area. There is no easy public transportation to the grand place except by bus or taxi/uber. Walking to grand place takes around 30 mins passing through Brussels Park and Royal Palace. The positive point is that the area where the hotel is located is very quiet.

CcalywenaSo close but not so far from the old town or maybe the attractions which is good, if you’re staying inside around the grand palace, it may get noisy so this place is really in a good place so location is very strategic 😘 From the train station (Midi Station), 2 stops away and you can walk to the hotel easily 🫶🏻 This hotel is kinda old so it gives off the old vibes but you got what you need and breakfast is good 😄 everybody is so welcoming ~ if you’re in a budget and still want a good hotel to stay, here is the place 👍🏻 thank you 🫰🏻

GGuest UserWe stayed 2 nights and thank god it wasn’t any longer. As much as the bed was a very large bed and comfortable, the surrounding around was grotty. Brussels in general around here was awful. The room was pokey and small, walked into things while staying there. Forget being any bigger than slim, the bathroom was a shoe box! Your back is basically touching the wall, while facing the basin and the toilet roll holder is right in your face when you’re sitting on the toilet and your head almost touching the wall in front of you lean forward. No room for you to dry yourself in the bathroom itself unless you stand in the shower and do it. The hotel itself is beautiful, but lacks in the room which is the important part. Check in and out system is ridiculous. They’ve set up 3 ways to do so. Online via email, in person or on their check in kiosk. The issue with this, is you’re still made to go to reception! What’s the point of saying you can do it all online or at the kiosk if I still have to go to someone at reception? Remove your unnecessary online/kiosk. When checking in, I felt hostility from the staff member when I said I got an email to check in at the kiosk and I’ve already done it, so I didn’t want to waste more time doing it again. Then when I checked out via email, I got a notification to say the city charge was paid and I could leave. Thankfully for the hotel, I needed to drop my luggage and the lady still asked for my room number and said I still needed to pay for the city tax. Another example of a failed online system, just a waste of time. Then when I came back to get my luggage, I found that the tag with the same number was on multiple bags and the girl came out with 2 bags that weren’t mine and eventually had to come in and look for it myself. Apparently they used the same number but the girl gave me the wrong colour tag to my luggage tag. Again, another stupid system. Why are you not using unique numbers? Instead of relying on the same numbers but different colours?! All in all, stay somewhere else. There are nice parts of Brussels, but this area is not it and the closer you are to Brussels Nord station, you’ll feel like you’ve just entered Skid Row. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or the area. Nice big gym for a hoteland probably the very few positives about the stay.

GGuest UserThe staff are all very friendly! The location is close to tourist spots such as manneken pis and Saint-Nicolas, only several minutes of walk.  However, the hangers provided in the room are almost damaged and the window could not be fully closed that it was cold to sleep on the right hand side. Although it is not a very big problem, I still expected the whole environment could have been even better.

AAnonymous UserPros: 1. **Convenient Location:** The hotel is right above various transportation hubs, including bus stops, tram stations, and a subway station. 2. **Close to Train Station:** The train station is large and very close; I walked there in 8 minutes, and the path was good, making it easy to pull my luggage. 3. **Modern Room Amenities:** The room has full electronic controls and air conditioning, so the hardware facilities are quite good. 4. **Modern Art Vibe:** I really liked the modern art atmosphere throughout the building. There were also many art books by world-renowned modern artists nearby, which I took some time to browse. 5. **Fresh Linens:** The bedding was relatively new, well-laundered, and neatly ironed. 6. **Excellent Breakfast:** The breakfast was fantastic! There was a chef making omelets to order, smoked salmon, and a variety of hot dishes every day. 7. **Shopping Nearby:** There's a large shopping mall and a commercial street just across the road. Cons: 1. **Housekeeping Issue:** One day, I turned on the 'make up room' light and left. The housekeeping department didn't clean my room. When I returned in the evening and saw them outside the neighboring room, I asked them to clean mine as soon as possible, and I went to the lobby to wait. After an hour and forty minutes, I came back, and the room still hadn't been cleaned. This felt disrespectful to me. I spoke to the front desk, and after a few more tens of minutes, I inquired again, and the room was finally cleaned. This issue didn't happen again. 2. **Water Stains:** Some of the facilities had white limescale, which should be cleaned more thoroughly.

CCansuqixingThis hotel is really old... Don't let the five-star rating fool you, it feels more like a three-star. The elevator is incredibly slow, from 1999! The furniture in the room is also very dated. The front desk sells bottled water in glass bottles for 8 euros a pop – ridiculous. As our Belgian client told us, the hotel's location is right between a safe area and an unsafe one. It's close to the light rail, but there's no elevator from the light rail station to the street level, which is quite annoying. Walking to the city center is fairly convenient though. For the price, it offers good value for money; other hotels in the same area are more expensive.

GGiffyMExcellent hotel in Brussels city. The hotel and the rooms i booked was clean for the both! When you entered in the lobby you will smell the good and refreshing! The reception is very helpful. Also the cookies when you checked in was so good. When I come back to Brussels for the next time, I would book this hotel again.

RRachelBrianWe booked this hotel for 4 nights during our trip to Brussels. When we arrived early, the lady at reception was very kind and allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated after travelling. Later that evening, after spending the day exploring Brussels, we returned to the hotel very late and exhausted. That’s when we noticed there was an old blood stain on the bedsheets. The bed was also extremely itchy, and it felt like something was biting us during the night, although we couldn’t find any visible bugs. The next morning, we had to leave very early to catch a train to Luxembourg, and again returned late that evening. We informed the receptionist about the stained sheets, but unfortunately he was very rude and dismissive. He told us our complaint was “unacceptable” because we reported it late in the evening and should have mentioned it in the morning instead. In our opinion, he could have simply passed the issue on to the morning staff so it could be handled properly. What made things worse was that housekeeping made the bed the next day but did not replace the sheets at all the blood stain was still there. Our trip itself was amazing, but sadly, about a week later, both my girlfriend and I were diagnosed with Lyme disease after experiencing bites during our stay. We cannot say for certain where it came from, but our experience in the hotel room definitely raised concerns. Very disappointing experience, especially considering the poor handling of a hygiene-related complaint.

GGuest UserThis hotel was renovated in 2025, which is quite rare in Brussels. The 25th floor offers a sauna and relaxation area with panoramic views of Brussels, and it's free for hotel guests, which was a pleasant surprise. Luxury shops are located around the entrance, and the Royal Museums of Fine Arts are just an 11-minute walk away. There are also plenty of restaurants within 500 meters. Highly recommended!
