Dining and shopping are incredibly convenient. The room even comes with binoculars, so you can gaze at Sinuiju across the river, and the Workers' Palace is right there too – perfect for striking a 'leader's speech' pose! 😉

The room was spotlessly clean; I honestly think it's the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. The main reason I'd recommend it is because the owners are so responsive – any issue I had was immediately addressed without delay. Any requests we had were quickly addressed, and they handled everything with great care and competence, making sure all arrangements were perfectly planned. I booked a double room, but it reeked of smoke. They graciously upgraded me to a double suite for free, which was fantastic and made for a great experience. Housekeeping cleaned daily and it was very clean. The only minor issue was that the windows, possibly for safety on the higher floors, couldn't be opened without a cleaner's assistance. The breakfast was excellent, especially for a four-star hotel. The front desk staff were also very helpful. I requested a change of pillows because the one for my child was too soft, and they promptly brought a buckwheat pillow. The room was spacious and soundproofing was decent. The hotel is conveniently located near Taiyuan Street, with plenty of great food options and shopping. Despite the crowds during the May Day holiday, I highly recommend staying here.

Shangri-La is my top choice for a vacation, a world away from business hotels and the daily grind. It truly feels like a getaway. The location is excellent, with direct access to MixC Mall from B2, and the metro station isn't far either. The service is superb; the staff are warm and friendly, always ready to guide you to the elevators or restaurant. The Horizon Club inclusion of afternoon tea and a light dinner in the evening was a pleasant surprise, and the view of Youth Park from the 30th floor is quite nice. Breakfast is also very rich, offering a great selection of local specialties, Western, and Chinese dishes.

Excellent! Absolutely fantastic! The owner is incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and provides wonderful service! When I arrived downstairs, even though there was an elevator, I called him and he immediately came down to help me carry my luggage upstairs. The hotel is newly renovated and just opened, so all the facilities inside are brand new and smart, including a smart toilet and smart electric curtains. The bedding is very clean. The transportation is convenient; it's only a 5-minute walk to the train station, and the bus stop is also nearby, making it easy to get anywhere. Overall, it's great in every aspect.

Both the bathtub and the window view were absolutely superb, and I loved the small balcony in the room—it was great to get some fresh air without leaving. The Penhaligon's toiletries and the intangible cultural heritage exhibition in the lobby were also nice bonuses.
