Room is small but clean and tidy, good enough. Excellent onsen with complimentary drink and ice cream. Supper ramen is delicious. Staff is helpful and friendly, especially the staff responsible for the car parking.
This time I ordered breakfast and dinner, so it was perfect. Dinner is buffet, good quality, especially beef and sweet shrimp. If you want to eat hot pot, just make up some money. The buffet ticket can cost about four thousand. It also includes tickets for the primary ice and snow park. I didn't know when I made the reservation. I discussed with the front desk to change to a cable car ticket. Originally, the cable car ticket for 3,700 a day was changed to two thousand and five. The front desk sold 800 tickets for the primary stage, which was worth twelve thousand. It's worth it
It's a new hotel, so it's clean.
The bath is a little spacious.
I often don't like the shampoo and conditioner, but this one had a nice scent and was easy to use.
The room was comfortable, with a style where you could take your shoes off before entering.
I've stayed at Dormy Inns in many cities in Japan, and staying at the Tsuruga branch again felt familiar and welcoming. Check-in is self-service, and every hotel has its own natural hot spring ♨️, with each city having its own name for the hot spring. The hot spring at the Tsuruga branch is called ”Wakakyo no Yu.” It happened to be raining on the day of my check-in, so soaking in the hot spring that evening was incredibly relaxing. They also offer complimentary ramen 🍜 and popsicles in the evening. Having some after the hot spring was very satisfying 😌
It was a very pretty room, nice house, beautiful garden and lots of good facilities.
Please contact the very helpful and supportive host for anything you need.
The hotel is spacious and well-equipped, located in the heart of the hot spring district, yet conveniently located yet quiet. It's large, with several different hot spring baths of varying styles and functions, including a rooftop observation bath. The food is decent, though not as good as my previous experience at Kurokawa Onsen in Kumamoto. The Japanese-style room is large, with 14 tatami mats, enough to accommodate over a dozen people! They even provided two traditional local snacks in the room, a very thoughtful touch.
Hervorragende Zimmer mit viel Platz, gut gelegen und netter Service. Nur das Frühstück war nicht ganz nach unserem Geschmack sowie die Desserts. Aber ansonsten waren wir rundum zufrieden.
I booked a room with a hot spring bath, which is over 80 square meters. The hot spring bath is on the balcony and you can see the scenery of Awara. Beer, wine and soda are available in the hotel lobby and hot spring lounge area. Dinner is a buffet with a wide variety of dishes and good quality (much better than Alpine Green). The hot springs are also good, and the outdoor pool is quite large. When I checked in, I was probably the only Chinese in my family of four. Recommended
I visited on a solo trip, but the room was quiet and the hot springs were very good, so I was able to relax.
Also, there was an all-you-can-drink option and alcohol was available, so I was very satisfied with being able to enjoy a drink after the bath!!
I'd like to stay here again when I visit Fukui.
On that day, I was blessed with good weather in the sea and the sea, and I was very satisfied with staying with my husband and wife at a nice hotel.
I just couldn't understand that dinner was booked and I thought there was a restaurant in the hotel, so it remained.
I had dinner outside, but I was in trouble because I didn't know geographically, so please give me a more easy-to-understand description.
Breakfast was nice. Thank you, employee, from early morning.

Very Good
GGuest UserVery nice people, very friendly, very complete settings, will stay next time, highly recommended, great location, close to the station, very convenient transportation, worth everyone to stay for a night to experience it
GGuest UserI used it to go to Sundome for LIVE.
In terms of location, it's far from the station, so it's not convenient, but if you go by car, there's no problem, there's plenty of free parking, and there's a lot of supermarkets, home centers, Don Quixote, and restaurants nearby, so it's convenient. is!
The room was clean and it was nice to be able to just check in when I went to put my luggage first.
The bed was big and it was great.
In addition, it is hotel which we want to use by all means.
CcarolienNever felt more welcome and cared for during my trip than in this hotel. Everybody from front to restaurant was kind, helpfull and forgiving of mistakes.
The room is so beautifull, the smell of the tatami is so good. The things in the room are clearly chosen and cared for with love.
And the view, well you will never get tired of looking out over the coastline with the boats going in and out and people fishing from the pier.
The diner was a perfect display of culinary skill and in line with the season. It was a feast for the eye as well as the mouth.
Breakfast was perfect as well. Same as above.
The common bath was also just right, if you are early enough you can look at the sea while enjoing it.
Thank you everybody, it could not have been better.
TTeeny TehA cosy hotel with really friendly and helpful hotel staff. Room was a little small compared to what we have been used to. But the helpfulness and friendliness of the Hotel staff made up for everything. Air conditioning on the first night was a little hot (we went to Fukui in the summer time), but was OK on the 2nd night. You can choose your own pillow and amenities (shampoo, conditioner, bath salts, cotton buds, sewing kit etc) from the 5th floor - so funny! But reception is on the 5th floor (not the 1st). The hotel thoughtfully provided a laundry drying rack so you can dry laundry in the room. The shampoo, conditioner and body foam (made with Royal Jelly) made my hair really soft and manageable! Very convenient to drive to Tojinbo Cliffs too!
EEmily60632Toyoko Inn is a great choice for business trips! The room interior is in the Toyoko Inn style, and while it feels a bit dated, it's spotlessly clean, like a Japanese hotel, and the stay was cozy and comfortable. Their breakfast is also delicious, and the price is affordable! It's very close to Fukui Station; just walk right out of the station.
JJenny.liu2025/5/13-15 Twin room 2 nights
The room is not very big, but it has all the normal amenities and central air conditioning. It is an old-fashioned hotel.
The buffet breakfast is on the second floor ~ the dishes are pretty good
There are many paid parking lots nearby, which is very convenient.
Located next to Fukui Station, convenient transportation
PPO YINRoom is small but clean and tidy, good enough. Excellent onsen with complimentary drink and ice cream. Supper ramen is delicious. Staff is helpful and friendly, especially the staff responsible for the car parking.
EEwanThere are so many services here that are great for families traveling with children. Kids eat breakfast for free, and it's a buffet, which is a fantastic perk! This really goes above and beyond what you'd typically expect from a business hotel. It's also a huge plus that even elementary school children are allowed to share a bed with their parents, though an additional fee applies.
TttlljpLocation is about 10min walk from the jr Obama station, but a big part was via the shotengai which is covered, making the walk not too bad. Stayed two nights and the single room is relatively spacious. There’s even a ucc coffee machine in room to enjoy. Hotel has an indoor n outdoor bath onsite on two different levels, personally prefer the outdoor. Breakfast over two mornings were great and wholesome, different on both days.
YYYLoAn old-style Japanese hotel with older facilities and first-class service. It has breakfast and late-night snacks (rice with curry sauce). The most important thing is that it’s free. The location is OK, but you have to walk a long way to get to a lively place for dinner. , there is no place nearby
