I've stayed here several times. It's a nice boutique hotel with basic amenities including a hairdryer. There's no mineral water in the room but there's Coway water purifier outside. Iron and ironing board are also provided outside the room.

I had a pleasant stay at Purest Hotel overall. The location is very convenient, making it easy to access nearby amenities and get around the area. I also appreciate the team’s prompt response whenever I made a request — the service was efficient and attentive. That said, one area for improvement would be the pigeon situation at the car park, which could be better managed to enhance cleanliness and overall guest experience. With some attention to this, the stay experience would be even better.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful view, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking was very convenient and easily accessible for customers, which is a big plus. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful and professional, always ready to assist with any questions. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

My wife and I recently stayed here and overall, we had an enjoyable experience. The room was reasonably priced and offered good value for money. We especially liked the cozy atmosphere, and the convenience of having parking right in front of the room made our stay even more comfortable. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The air conditioning was directed straight towards the bed, which made it quite cold during the night. Basic amenities like a toothbrush were not provided, so it’s better to bring your own. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was a bit slow. Despite these minor issues, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back again.

The hotel itself is well located and has a certain charm. The furniture is quite old, but in a way it adds character to the place. The staff we interacted with were generally kind and polite. However, we had a very upsetting experience with the Ramadan buffet restaurant. We arrived at the hotel around 6:00 PM after a long day of travel with two flights (Phuket to Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi). My mother had been fasting all day for Ramadan and had not eaten or drunk anything. When we saw that the restaurant was preparing the Ramadan buffet, my mother sat down hoping to break her fast there. Unfortunately we were refused and told that reservations had to be made one day in advance. This was very surprising for us, as we had just arrived in the country and could not possibly have reserved the day before. We were directed to another nearby restaurant, but after waiting more than one hour we still had not received any food. During that time my mother — who had been fasting all day — still had nothing to eat, and my two-year-old child was crying because he was hungry. In the end, my mother was only able to eat about two hours after the time of breaking the fast. Aside from this very difficult experience, the hotel itself is pleasant and the staff are friendly. However, I hope the management will consider being more flexible and understanding in situations like this, especially for guests observing Ramadan and families traveling with young children.

Traveling from Penang to Langkawi, I stayed at this hotel during a layover in Kedah. The bathroom was in poor condition; the underside of the toilet seat had black grime in the crevices. The hotel's facilities are poorly maintained. The water heater broke while I was showering at night, so I had to make do with a cold shower. The front desk did offer to switch rooms, but it was too late, and I was too tired to bother. The room only had a thin blanket, about the same thickness as a bath towel, and no disposable slippers. Furthermore, the soundproofing in the room was terrible; I could clearly hear the sound of an electrical outlet from the neighboring room. There are plenty of food options nearby, including 7-Eleven, Sukiya, FamilyMart, and ZUS COFFEE, which is convenient for dining, but none of them accept WeChat Pay or Alipay. I would advise avoiding this place.

This hotel was surprisingly nice and looks brand new! I really loved that the room had three mirrors (super convenient 😆) and everything felt clean and new. The shower was huge too, which made the stay even more comfortable. And the location near to ABC/ Sheik Yasmeen For me, it was definitely worth the price. The only small downside is that I wish there was a little more space in the room for us to pray comfortably. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely repeat this hotel again! ✨

Nice hotel near Pekan Rabu. Has breakfast buffet, but quite basic. There is a big and comfortable lobby, with welcoming coffee and some biscuits. There’s also a Alor Setar foodcourt right behind the hotel for more breakfast options, if you didnt opt for the hotel breaskfast. Room is dated, of average size with no balcony, twin room is bigger than double room. We didnt have a proper wardrobe in our room, only an open space next to the TV, to hang our clothes. The bed is ok, not too soft, pillows are quite comfortable; while the towels are not very thick/plush. A good choice if you wish to walk around to explore Alor Setar town. We walked all the way to the Masjid/Dataran Alor Setar in the morning when it wasnt too hot. Bathroom is quite dated, there was an issue with the drainage when we were there.

YYuanhuaruixiangRebak Island Resort & Marina, the sole hotel on Langkawi's Rebak Island, offered me an unforgettable vacation. If you're seeking a truly secluded sanctuary to connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle, I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The island's environment is simply breathtaking! Surrounded by refreshing scenery, there are plenty of trails to explore on foot. What surprised me most was the excellent ecological preservation here. The hotel even offers a guided one-hour nature walk every Sunday at 8:30 AM. Through this, I learned about many unique Malaysian flora and fauna – it was a truly valuable learning experience! Beyond hiking, we could also cycle. The bay where the hotel is situated is also a significant stop for global sailing, adding a special maritime flair to the entire resort. What truly warmed my heart during this trip was the hotel's service. The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and I sincerely thank them for that! Our package included dinner, and breakfast was a standard buffet with a wide variety of choices. The dinner menu also offered excellent selection, and both the taste and service left us very satisfied. Even better, despite being on a private island, transportation to and from the mainland was absolutely no issue. There are several complimentary shuttle boat services daily, making it very convenient. Of course, even in a perfect experience, there were some things to get used to. 1. **Soundproofing in wooden villas:** The hotel rooms are older-style wooden villas, usually two stories. If you stay on the ground floor, you will indeed hear the footsteps of guests upstairs quite clearly. 2. **Monkey neighbors:** Because the island's ecosystem is so thriving, we had quite a few monkey neighbors! Everyone needs to be extra careful and remember not to leave your room door open, otherwise, they might come in and ”steal” your food. **Summary:** Putting aside the soundproofing of the older villas and the ”mischief” of the little monkeys, Rebak Island Resort & Marina earned my highest praise for its unparalleled natural environment, rich ecological activities, and thoughtful, attentive service. It was a soulful journey back to nature!

GGuest User⭐️ (Strongly Not Recommended) My stay at A Coral Reefs Resort from 21–23 March started off acceptable, but what happened after check-out was deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s professionalism and integrity. After I had already left the property and arrived at the airport, I received a call accusing me of being involved in a missing RM1200 reported by three foreign guests. This accusation was based solely on a vague CCTV clip showing me sitting in the lobby and putting something into my pocket. Let me be absolutely clear: such an allegation, made without concrete evidence, is irresponsible and unacceptable. The hotel’s account of the incident was inconsistent and unreliable. I was first told the money was left on a table, and later it was claimed to be inside a pair of pants. The inability to establish even the most basic facts seriously calls into question the credibility of the entire claim. Even more concerning is the timeline. If the alleged incident took place on 21 March, why was I only contacted on 23 March, after I had already checked out and reached the airport? This delay reflects either poor internal handling or a lack of proper investigation. The CCTV clip provided was incomplete and unclear. It merely shows me placing my own personal belongings (my phone and medicated oil) into my pocket. There is absolutely no evidence that I handled or took any cash. Relying on such selective and inconclusive footage to imply wrongdoing is not only unprofessional, but also unfairly damaging to a guest’s reputation. We have formally requested the full CCTV footage to ensure transparency and proper verification of facts. Failure to provide complete and unedited recordings will only further undermine the credibility of this accusation. If this matter is not handled appropriately, we will not hesitate to escalate it through formal complaint channels. Guests should be aware that without clear evidence, this establishment is willing to cast suspicion based on assumptions rather than facts.

GGuest UserThis family-friendly hotel is absolutely fantastic! Paired with the beautiful Langkawi weather, it made for the best part of our trip. We stayed for two nights during the Chinese New Year holiday with my whole family, including seniors and kids, in a family suite which was a standalone wooden chalet. The hotel environment is excellent, nestled between mountains and water, and it's also right next to the SkyCab, so you could easily spend two days just exploring the area. We also booked an island hopping tour through the hotel, which was convenient, good value, and a great experience. We'll definitely come back next time we have a chance. A special mention to Sofie at the front desk – she was incredibly nice and gentle, providing an excellent check-in and check-out experience for guests. The hotel's Thai restaurant is great, followed by the Malaysian restaurant. We didn't go to the Chinese restaurant; I just glanced at the menu and decided against it. It felt like over 80% of the guests here were Caucasians, and the overall atmosphere, including at check-in and on the beach, was very peaceful.

JJinwushengzhixuyuConclusion: At over 1300 MYR during the May Day holiday, this hotel is highly recommended. Facilities: The overall facilities are clean and tidy, which is why I ultimately chose this hotel in Langkawi. It offers standardized five-star service and brand-new facilities. The pools are a major highlight; both the ground-floor pool bar and the fifth-floor infinity pool are very comfortable. After 6 PM, you can relax by the pool and wait for the sunset. Service: Special commendation to the front desk doorman who proactively helped with luggage and was both polite and enthusiastic! Here are the downsides: 1. The shower area had a faint sewage smell, and it took a long time for the hot water to come on. 2. I don't know which floor's door kept banging due to the wind; the sound was intermittent, but thankfully, I fall asleep quickly. 3. The front desk assigned me one of the more mediocre sea-view rooms, located on the sixth floor in the corner furthest from the sunset view. The minibar was complimentary on the first night, and breakfast was quite rich. The laksa was delicious, though sometimes it ran out. 4. Breakfast service was mediocre. After the staff seated me, they didn't ask if I wanted coffee. I had to ask for it later, and even then, it took a while to arrive (or didn't arrive).

GGuest UserThis hotel was our best stay in Langkawi, It gave us a little 'White Lotus' vibe. If you like lots of greenary, this hotel is for you. View is amazing. Food was good. Only the minus point was it is a little far away from the main center. sometimes difficult to get a cab after 8, if you want to go to Pantai Chenang. Airport and sky bridge was quite near and also some of the nice beaches of Langkawi. For food, there is an authentic Indian restaurant 'Delhi Darbar' at a walking distance. There is also a cafe nearby. I definetely recommend this place.

GGuest UserI perceive the key of this hotel’s services from the front desk to bellhop, housekeeping and security staff is sincerity. Our eye contact and a smile with the hotel staff goes a very long way each time when strolling through the lobby, rooftop lounges and leisure amenities of The RIYAZ Lavanya Langkawi. Thank you so much to their housekeeping staff, Mr. Ali’s hard work for taking such good care of my room, our room looks wonderful every day during our 5D4N (1-5 Feb) stays, is perfect. A nod and a ”Good day, thank you” as we pass by the Gurkhas Security officers who are renowned for their incredible toughness, and acknowledges their presence and roles each time when we stepped out of the lobby and the main entrance. It is often seen as a premium, elite security measure, offering peace of mind to us, an elderly couple. We were so impressed with the service and cleanliness that we will absolutely be returning customers.

AAnonymous UserThe location of this hotel is outstanding. It is right at the end of the beach, giving the feeling that the entire stretch of sand belongs to you. It is quiet, and ideal for relaxing, especially for families. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the prices are on the expensive side for what is offered overall. Unfortunately, the hotel’s biggest weakness is its organisation and internal communication. Apparently different departments do not communicate well with one another. During check-in, there was a long queue at the reception despite five staff members being present, yet only two were actually assisting guests. As a result, we waited far longer than necessary. Only after I told them that they need to help each other out, did they start accelerating the check-in process. A more serious issue occurred on our third day when the safe box in our room ran out of battery. I informed reception and was told someone would come shortly. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again, then waited another 15 minutes, and finally had to go to reception for the third time. In total, nearly two hours of our holiday were wasted waiting for a simple battery replacement. The restaurant, however, was a clear exception. Mr Azizi deserves special mention for his professionalism and attentiveness. From the first day until the end of our stay, he regularly checked on us and genuinely tried to help. When I mentioned the safe box issue to him, he was the one who finally stepped in and made things happen. Thanks to his supervision, the restaurant ran smoothly and efficiently. BTW, it’s worth mentioning that breakfast is amazing, with a variety of delicacies. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the beach bar. Orders were frequently forgotten, even after payment. Waiting 30–40 minutes for drinks and then being told they were simply forgotten was frustrating and disappointing. Another sign of poor coordination was the bracelet policy. For the first two days, no one mentioned that guests were supposed to wear bracelets. From the third day onwards, security staff on the beach began checking and questioning us daily, which again points to a lack of communication at reception. The room itself was decent. Due to the humid climate, there was a slight smell, which is quite common in this region and something we also experienced in Thailand, so this was not a major issue. Overall, I can recommend this hotel for its excellent location and family-friendly atmosphere. However, considering the price and the ongoing organisational problems, I do not feel it offers good value for money. On a positive note, Grab makes it easy to get around, and the main hotspot area is only about 2-2.5 km away.

GGuest UserOnline reviews mentioned that staying in Kuah Town would be quieter, but since it's surrounded by seafood restaurants and roads, there were still motorcycle noises around 11 PM or 12 AM. However, it didn't bother us late sleepers, and it quieted down even later. In comparison, Pantai Cenang, being by the sea, would be much quieter. The room felt like an older 4-star hotel. I stayed in a twin room the first night and a king room the second, and for 300, it was generally good value for money. There's an I-Bing bubble tea shop nearby with delicious taro milkshakes, and it's also very close to Wonderland. Parking is very convenient and free.

SShelvjiangnanThis hotel seems to be an older establishment with decent facilities. The rooms are quite spacious, and the infinity pool on the rooftop is beautiful, probably the best spot around for a high-up view. On the downside: 1. There's virtually no room service, apart from changing two towels. 2. The hot water pressure is very low and it's not very hot, though thankfully it's a tropical climate. 3. The breakfast selection is poor, with very few options, and nothing I really enjoyed.

DDenise CKrecently stayed at ACH Hotel Langkawi and found the experience to be average overall. The check-in process was quite troublesome, as guests are required to scan and complete a self check-in even when reception staff are available but not assisting, which felt inconvenient. The room was clean, but the standard room is very small and quite dark, making it less comfortable than expected. On the positive side, the location is good and convenient for getting around. Overall, an average stay — decent for the location, but there’s definitely room for improvement in service and room comfort.
