The service was excellent – the staff were friendly and helpful. The environment was clean and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was not disappointing at all – lots of choices and everything we tried was tasty. The pool was definitely our favorite part! I had the best time just sitting at the swim-up bar, eating and drinking right in the water. A great experience overall, perfect for families. We’d love to come back again!

Everything is beyond expectation. Did not expect our stays at this hotel this good. The receptionist is helpful. Aircond, heater function well. Only the hallway carpet are bit dented and old but no weird smell. Breakfast or sahur during Ramadhan don't have many variations.

We had a wonderful time in this hotel, but the room isn't worth the money. For a night at the hotel we paid about 700 rmb, for a room where everything old is expensive... It is absolutely necessary to add a rack in the room to dry clothes, as well as add some furniture, we had no place to put our clothes. But the territory itself is very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious, the staff was pleasant, nice swimming pool, and most importantly the hotel is clean and room cleaning was not bad at all. We lived in a few hotels on Langawi, this one's better than the others.

Very nice location ! Mall, Food Street, tourist attractions are in walking distance. Average room condition, acceptable. Don’t except something fancy.

Great proximity to the airport. Amazing infinity pool, newly renovated compared to the rest of the facility. Kids pool is tastefully done and not gaudy. Somehow they managed to make it aesthetic and to add to the overall vibe which is rare. Pelangi Grill is a pretty good restaurant. Breakfast was really good and dinner service was good as well. Service staff are very attentive. Kiki animal farm was a little underwhelming but the club was quite well stocked with toys. The facility, overall, is showing its age but I personally find the building choice as kampung style charming. The rooms are refurbished more recently but some aspects like grimy and small windows does let down the fact that the rooms should otherwise have a great view. Great resort, overall, and would come again.

We faced many challenges during our 5 day stay: - Breakfast: No Western food for breakfast, only chilli chicken, rice and noodles. Boiled eggs are the only food we can eat, except once it’s finished they don’t fill it up. Two mornings at 8 it was already finished, even though breakfast is until 10am. - Restaurant and room service: Inconsistent working hours. One evening we phoned at 6pm to order dinner, they say no orders after 5pm. The next day we phone for lunch, they say they only open at 5pm! Basically, impossible to order food for lunch and dinner. - Elevator: only 1 working elevator for a big hotel. Nobody is repairing it in the time we stayed here. It takes forever to get the elevator - Dogs next to hotel: There is a yard next to the hotel with many dogs. We counted over 10 dogs. They bark the whole day and night, disrupting sleep. We stayed on the higher floor but it was still disturbing. We turned the aircon and fan on for “white noise” to sleep through the barking, but it woke us every night. The walls and windows are not sound proof. - Noisy: There’s no sound proof walls or floor. Can hear people walking on the floor above us, hear people talk across the corridor. There is also a drain in the bathroom next to the toilet, that is running day and night non-stop. This hotel looks fancy on pictures and is supposed to be one of the best in the town but for 5 days we got weak food and no rest. We will not recommend this hotel at all - keep it searching for a different place.

I had a pleasant stay at Swiss Avenue Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax. The location was excellent, making it easy to access nearby amenities. However, I noticed that the floor could have been cleaner, as there was some dirt. Also, the shampoo provided was quite watery, so it might be worth improving the quality. Additionally, only one lift was in operation, leading to long waiting times, as the other lift was under maintenance. Overall, it was a good experience, and with a few small improvements, it could be even better!

Nice pool with seating and there was entertainment on Saturday and Sunday evening. Room was big enough for the two of us, we got a WhatsApp the day before to ask if we wanted a double bed instead of 2 single beds. Only slight downside was the air conditioning which took a while to cool the room down, other than that we had a great stay.

Adya Hotel Kuah Langkawi is conveniently located in the heart of Kuah Town, within walking distance of various eateries, duty-free shops selling chocolates and kitchenware, and Langkawi Parade shopping mall for more retail options. The hotel has an Islamic-inspired design, which gives it a unique character. However, the lobby felt warm as the air conditioning didn’t seem to be functioning well. Upon check-in, I noticed the welcome drinks were available, but clean glasses often ran out. The front desk staff were okay—not particularly warm, but efficient. A RM100 deposit was required during check-in, and since I didn’t have MYR, I used SGD50, which was accepted and later refunded in the same currency. The biggest drawback was the air conditioning on Level 4, where my room was located—it wasn’t working, making the hallway stuffy, especially with the lingering smell of fresh paint. The room itself was spacious and generally fine, though one of the lights couldn’t be turned off, which was a minor issue. The provided toiletries were basic, so bringing your own would be a good idea. Additionally, the door latch was faulty, preventing us from double-locking the door. On the plus side, the hotel has a large parking area, which is convenient for those driving. Overall, it’s a decent choice for a short stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in maintenance and guest experience.

Great location, superb variety of food available just below the hotel. Staff are so - so. They should at least put a sign where is the lift hotel, reception area as it all compact in one area with the shop lot. Otherwise great staycation 👍🏻

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious, though the interior felt a bit worn, it was still in good condition overall. I also like the bar area where they have pool table and some games provided. A nice place to hang out or have a drink. The breakfast selection was good and enjoyable. The hotel is also within walking distance to the beach, with several restaurants and spas nearby, making it a convenient choice. They also have free parking space available for guest. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel!

No frills inn. Good location. Loads of eateries nearby and located by the chenang beach. The room was very basic. Slight confusion on the water heater (turn it off to switch it on)..mattress was a bit stiff. The breakfast was quite delicious but the team need to reorganized themselves to serve better. But they are helpful just need better and professional guidance.

A perfectly situated hotel very close to the beach and restaurants/cafes. The rooms are spacious and the pool & bar area are very nice. The pool is a good size and there are a decent amount of sun loungers but you have to get up very early to secure one in the morning. We managed to get one in the afternoons pretty easily. Overall a great choice if you are staying in Pentai Cenang area and dare I say the only choice.

While the hotel is old, it is well-maintained. The room was clean, and I appreciated the spotless bathtub and the large windows that allowed plenty of natural light in. The mood lighting in the room was just right, creating a cozy atmosphere. The gym is not large, and the equipment selection is limited, but it’s decent for a quick workout. The dry sauna was surprisingly spacious, with separate areas for men and women. As for breakfast, the selection was not extensive but sufficient, and the taste met my expectations—I didn’t have a hard time deciding what to eat. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth. While the price felt slightly high compared to hotels in Kuala Lumpur (likely due to school holidays), it was still an economical option considering the service and facilities provided. Overall, a pleasant stay in a convenient location!

The hotel offers a beautiful, mesmerizing view of the paddy fields. The rooms are super clean and cozy, and breakfast includes a delicious variety of foods. Just across the street, there are many stalls offering a wide range of local dishes. Highly recommended!

It is great hotel to stay nearby to the Alor Setar Airport. The rooms are comfortable and neat. Just to add more socket next to the bed then it will be perfect. Psst.. The Juwita Thaifood opposite the hotel provide delicious thaifood.

Not old type Feeling comfy with the full length window make room feel not enclosed the view facing road glad no interrupt by road vehicle sound at all. Only 2 unsatisfied were bath room flooded when showering and many hair found on toilet bowl below( I had informed cleaner to clean it she apologised) and outside toilet the wall have costape n hair stick on it. A bit gross. Sry too busy not managed to inform the hotel staff as we rarely in the room. Overall ok. I will book again this room future hope hotel can rectify “flooded “ in bath area

The experience is average. Room is clean and within expectation. We stayed at the hotel 2 weeks before Chinese New Year and there was a night market beside the hotel and we enjoyed the festive mood. A downside of the facility is that there is no lift between the basement carpark and the lobby and thus, I had to bring the luggage from the basement to Level 1 Lobby. However, there is EV charging available in the hotel and this is good news for electric vehicle owners should they choose to stay in the hotel.

I did already write about the room that i stayed in, so here i’ m writing about their fnb,  Suggestions actualy. 1) Have two persons to manage the omelete station, with 2 cooking device. The waiting is quite long at busy hour. 2)I consider myself a regular there and everytime the main bfast course would be nasi lemak with pasta or nasi lemak with fried noodle or nasi lemak with smthing .please, Kedah is a food haven, try something else, rotate, whatever. 3)2 days in a row, fruits were papaya and pineapple.  Somethg else pls  Apart from the single room n fnb, the rest i am satisfied with.Would like to continue being a regular if they would consider changing the menu a bit and get rid of stained curtains and bed covers, plus, make the phone and tv works everytime. Suddenly thats a lot to take into consideration….hmm

The Leverage Business Hotel - Bandar Baru Mergong Review I stayed at The Leverage Business Hotel - Bandar Baru Mergong while in town for the Petronas Le Tour de Langkawi, and overall, it was a good choice for convenience. The hotel is located close to Lotus, which made it easy to grab essentials or food whenever needed. The room itself was decent—clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. While it’s not a luxury hotel, it had everything I needed for a business-style stopover. The staff were polite and check-in was hassle-free, which was nice considering the busy schedule during the event.
