Pet-friendly Hotels in Victoria, Australia

Location and amenities are great. In the middle of nice cafes and restaurants. Very nice to have hotel the partner with a full 24h fledged gym just 200m away too. Bar at the first floor of the hotel is nice with very friendly crew. There are 4 sets of washers and dryers but 2 were out of order. There was one night the room keeper didn’t throw my rubbish overflowing in the bin.

Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights at this hotel. The room and overall stay were okay, but there were a few disappointing points during our visit. Most of the staff were not very welcoming or smiling, except for one male waiter during breakfast who was friendly and attentive. We were also disappointed that the spa was not working during our stay, as this was one of the main things we were looking forward to. They offered complimentary drinks as compensation, which we appreciated, but it still did not make up for missing that experience. Another issue was the coffee machine during breakfast — the coffee was not hot even after we informed the staff. On a positive note, the reception staff gave my son a teddy bear during check-out, which was a sweet gesture and made him very happy. Overall, the stay was decent, but the service and facilities could definitely be improved.

Nice clean hotel. Convenient location for short term stay being so close to the airport minimising travel time for catching flights. Staff polite and helpful with check in and check out. Felt safe and secure during stay.

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with balcony, kitchen (with oven, microwave, large refrigerator) and washer and dryer; it has a lot of space. We stayed for a total of 6 nights. There was no room cleaning. We had to take out the trash ourselves. Room cleaning service will only be provided if we stay for more than 7 nights. The overall feeling is very good. This area is very quiet, but it is also in the cable car free zone in the city, so you don’t have to worry about transportation when going to the city for dining.

Good location right opposite Flinders Street Station and on the free tram line, spacious rooms and lots of bathrooms available, friendly staff and lots of free activities to get involved in which was a good way to meet people. Lift to all floors and staff on site 24 hours. Rooms and bathrooms didn’t seem to be cleaned much however, showers had hair in the drain the whole time, and general mess on bedroom floors not ever hoovered up in the 5 days I was there. My bed had a broken USB port however there were two sockets available, and the storage shelf would not shut as the latch was broken - I was offered a lock to purchase to shut this.

This hotel is located by the Yarra River, a bit far from the city center but still a walkable 20-30 minutes away. There are quite a few restaurants across the river, as well as the DFO outlet mall. The hotel facilities are new and well-maintained, and the room decor is naturally simple with some greenery. The only minor downside was how difficult it was to get through to the front desk by phone; it took over an hour to get slippers delivered on the first day 😂. The room is large, has a terrace and a wide view. The kitchen is fully equipped, as well as a washer and dryer; in the bathroom, as expected, you must bring your own mouthwash supplies, and slippers are not provided. There are fewer shops nearby at night. There is a convenience store at the subway station next to it, but it is not open permanently. There is a supermarket about ten minutes' walk away that is open until midnight.

We had booked a room with a queen bed, the room we were given had a double. While at a birthday party I received a call and was offered to option to change rooms which I declined as I had no idea when we were getting back which ended up being late. The heater did not work, the shower leaked water all over the floor and the cabin smelt like it had been locked up for months, a pretty disappointing stay

Stayed in motel style accommodation. The bed was comfortable and room is spacious. The shower room is, quite outdated and they use shower curtain. Looked a bit like locker room shower. They provide body soap /shampoo all in one that attached to a wall. There is not much amenities other than coffee sachets and tea bags and milk in the fridge. Air-conditioning is strong but loud. Luckily I didn't need to leave it on at night. There is no power point next to TV which was a bit annoying. The location is great as it is only 20 mins walk to the town center.
