Traveling to Zhangye, my stay at this five-star hotel was absolutely perfect! The location is super convenient, within walking distance to the Bell and Drum Tower, and not far from the Danxia scenic area, making getting around a breeze. The hotel's ambiance is elegant and grand, with lush greenery adorning the lobby and a fresh, pleasant aroma. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive; the front desk processed my check-in efficiently, proactively helped with my luggage, and even offered a welcome fruit basket. Any requests were promptly addressed. The room was spacious and bright, with impeccable cleanliness – not a speck of dust in any corner. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, feeling like I was sinking into clouds. The smart home controls were incredibly convenient; just a call to ”Xiao Du” allowed me to operate the air conditioning and TV. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, with excellent water pressure, and even thoughtfully provided a foot bath tub and mugwort packets – soaking my feet after exploring the Danxia landforms was so therapeutic. The soundproofing was superb, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep until morning. The facilities are comprehensive, and breakfast even includes local Zhangye specialties. The value for money is outstanding, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

When I booked the hotel, I was a bit worried seeing that the pick-up service was only from 8 AM to midnight. I specifically called to confirm that they could still pick me up even if my train arrived in Dunhuang around 7 AM. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Shazhou Night Market, Dunhuang Bookstore, Dunhuang Print Bureau, and Mingsha Mountain. I'm very grateful to the kind lady at the front desk for upgrading my room and allowing me to check in early. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Oh, and the two cats at the front desk are absolutely adorable!

This stay was superb. Whether it was the handsome guy who came to pick us up at the station at night, the beautiful lady who made us pots of tea during the day, or the handsome guy who sent us to the station after checking out, they were all very enthusiastic and kept introducing us to delicious and fun things. The hotel's location is excellent; right outside, you can catch buses to destinations like Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, the airport, the train station, and Xuanquanzi Scenic Area. The hotel interior is also quite new, and the bedding is good. Downsides: The water wasn't hot enough. They required a 30 RMB deposit for each room key card, which is something I haven't seen in years. For such a large hotel, it felt really petty. It just made for an uncomfortable experience. They offer a station drop-off service, which I initially thought was a nice perk. However, the communication was unclear, and I wasn't sure if the car was even there. When you're traveling in an unfamiliar place and have a train to catch, punctuality is crucial. No one could give me a clear answer. In the end, I had to repeatedly press the front desk in the morning before they could confirm. It left a very bad impression; the entire management seems to have issues.

I think the people in the northwest are so warm and simple!

The hotel located near to the tourist spot. The hotel offers a very good free transfer around the city area. When walked out of the hotel building, the driver came out and asked where I was going and then gave e a left. The staff members are very helpful with any kind queries. The only problem is the the room does not have good sound proof. People stayed next to my room talked loudly till 2.30am of which disturbed my sleep very badly.

This is the kind of hospitality that doesn't feel forced, but springs from genuine warmth. For anyone visiting Dunhuang – whether following in the footsteps of the Silk Road or exploring the breathtaking Mogao Grottoes – I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It not only provides an excellent base for exploration, but becomes itself a positive part of the travel experience.
