Loved the location at the center of Thionville. There are pedestrian roads just around the corner with bars and restaurants and a supermarket and mall just next to the hotel. There are also lots of public parking spaces next to the hotel. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are modern and nice. So there is a nice rooftop at the hotel with a view and sofas and a bar to relax. At that floor you have a wellness area with sauna and upon appointment you can also book a massage. I did not have breakfast there, but it looked good. I would go back when I am in Thionville. Whether for business or even as a getaway weekend.
Well, well maintained hotel.
Friendly service.
Breakfast was good, but it wasn't super.
I'd probably expect this much better.
No mirror egg, one kind of cheese which wasn't good yet, very rough with a stick.
Very nice hotel right in the city center. Timothee is super kind. The rooms are a bit dated and the heating needs to be looked at, as it's not very efficient. Breakfast was okay, and the Marecheux parking, with direct access to the hotel, offers great rates.
Everything was very good. We stayed one night; for more, a little more storage space would have been nice.
We drove around a bit to get there; the GPS didn't give us directions to the parking lot.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was very well served.
Location is about 10 - 15mins walk to the Central train station. So if you plan on traveling outside Colmar, this is a pretty good location.
It is also around 10mins walk to the Little Venice canal and old town. So yeah, location is convenient.
The room is basic; no kettle, no fridge, no toothbrush/sandal. But you pay for what you get anyway.
I stayed in this hotel just one night, it's was near from Airport Basel. The right way is going to the Europcar shop and than go to out side, there is a upstairs, go to the parking 🅿️ and than the tunnel going to the Hotel, because the Google maps don't work very well and don't gave us this option to walk. This way will make your time better. Anyway the hotel was very nice and clear, for one night it's comfortable.
Propreté irréprochable, accueil fort sympathique, chambres au calme.
Située tout près du CHU de Brabois, c'est un incontournable pour loger à deux pas de vos proches hospitalisés.
I had a really nice stay at this hotel and honestly, the highlight has to be the view. It’s absolutely stunning—you get a clear look over a charming little town, all surrounded by huge, dramatic mountains, which makes the whole place feel peaceful and almost postcard-perfect. Waking up to that scenery each day was definitely something special and added a lot to the overall experience.
The service desk staff were consistently friendly and polite, which made check-in and any interactions smooth and pleasant. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary sparkling and still water provided—it’s a small detail, but it does make you feel a bit more taken care of. The room itself was comfortable and had some really nice features, especially the bathtub with a built-in jacuzzi, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day.
There were a few minor downsides, like the heaters not working, but surprisingly it never felt too cold at night, so it didn’t really affect our comfort. The safe also wasn’t working, which was a bit inconvenient. That said, these were relatively small issues compared to the overall experience. Between the incredible views, comfortable room, and friendly service, it was still a very enjoyable and memorable stay.
Belle bâtisse chargée d’histoire. Un cadre apaisant

CChiuThe hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel.
Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours.
The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch.
That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.
GGuest UserThe hotel ”la bourse” is very conveniently situated, some 4 minutes on foot from the main station and even closer to the city center with it's bars and shops. Although the center is still a little bit away, it's too loud, to sleep with the the window open.
The house and the rooms are in a likeable, past-decades-style and - for example - a big reproduction of an 19th-century picture of a local factory in the room is a very nice alternative to the standard-modern-”art” so many hotels display.
Sadly the whole house seems a little bit worn off and especially the breakfast room is quite inconvenient.
Not five, but six or seven stars should be granted for the concierge service. The head of reception is an example of style and dignity and treats his customers with great formality and respect. Especially those, who have a traditional sense of good behavior, will probably enjoy the acquaintance and likewise the stay.
AAnonymous UserRoom was spacious, good and clean. The only thing was that the reception hours need to be communicated properly. We arrived at least half hour before the stated closing hours but already no one there. As we booked through trip.com, we didn’t receive the instructions to the safe where they dropped all the keys for « late » guests. But obviously we weren’t even late as mentioned, we arrived before the reception closing hours. Thankfully we met a gentleman who had the safe’s access code and we were able to retrieve our room keys
GGuest UserI usually don’t write reviews but this time I do want to!
I spent 3 lovely days in this beautiful house, absolutely loved every minute of it! The host Philippe is a very kind, sincere and warm person, I felt at home! The room and common area were very clean and well decorated.
Thank you again Philippe for the hospitality, I’ll definitely come back again during summer.
GGuest UserThe location was great and at walkable distance to two different metro stations and Louvre. With lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and a supermarket right across the street. There is a mini fridge below the TV stand which is great to keep my figs and peaches fresh. Staff was helpful and polite by greeting us every morning. Highly recommend this hotel.
잇잇연The tram and bus stop were close by, so the access was good.
I didn't eat breakfast, but there was a bakery nearby, so it was easy to buy.
There is an elevator in the hotel, but when you enter the hotel from outside the hotel, there are about 10 steps, so you have to carry your suitcase up.
GGuest UserGood location close to supermarket, bakery, Main Street, 8 minutes from train station, although room a bit small but have everything you need, recommend!!
