Pet-friendly Hotels in Crete, Greece

Although the hotel is located in the sea, it is close to the bus terminal, the airport bus station, the archaeological museum, the castle and the most lively August 25th street. It is within walking distance. We have 3 people on this trip and choose to live in a family room. The hotel provides a lot of space, up to 35 square meters, enough to live in 4-5 people, good decoration design, The breakfast is also rich and delicious. The disadvantage is that the hotel is located in the old area. The surrounding environment is relatively narrow and messy. Because of the off-season, the hotel's top floor is not open. There are two hotels under the same area and the group. Come back next time. I want to try it.

Wonderful stay, sadly, they put us in the only room with a view! (Room V (5) Should have been advised of this, with a discount offered!) Nonetheless, the staff was wonderful as well as the location. Be advised....a taxi cannot drop/pick you up ... so be prepared to walk with luggage about 300 meters. Also, as this is a historic structure....there is no elevator. Exceptional breakfast is offered in a very scenic view of the old Harbour.

I had a lovely 2 days stay here! The staff was helpful and friendly, room service was excellent too! This was the nicest hotel for a great price! I chose the budget room and will come back again! Also, I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast! Cheers!

Capsis Astoria is a great hotel centrally located in Heraklion. The rooms are comfortable and we liked our balcony. The rooftop pool is amazing with a full service bar and plenty of different types of seating and views of the city and sea in the distance. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is across the road from the hop on hop off bus, airport bus, museum and many restaurants and bars down the alleys.

The hotel is pretty clean and modern. We found the beds to be very comfy and the hotel's location was pretty convenient near the old town and port areas. The rooms are well appointed with a couple of chairs, a work area, a coffee/tea station, big TV and a large bathroom. There were enough plugs around the room and many switches with light settings to get it just right. We appreciated the balcony and the view outside but there were some cars that drove by with very loud music each night. The only significant complaint we had was that the bathroom shower leaked very easily in our rooms and got the floor wet near the toilet. The breakfast at the hotel was pretty good with a variety of Crete foods like cheese and pastries. There was fresh scrambled eggs and a very good sausage available as well. The breakfast also had a large variety of preserved fruits that paired well with the Greek yoghurt and included oranges, cherries, grapes and figs. We appreciated that the hotel had inexpensive parking nearby at Central Parking which was 7 Euros per day with unlimited in/out privileges as long as we got a stamp when we got in. The hotel also had a restaurant that offered room service and there was a popular cafe just across the street. This hotel was a good base for exploring Crete with a convenient location near the airport and the price was very fair for us.

Clean and good 20 minutes walk from the port Bus stop near taxi stop right in front of the hotel 30 minutes bus to Knossos Big mart within 15 minutes of nearby tourist spots, within 5 minutes of shopping street There are many restaurants and cafes. The cafe next to the hotel is also good for take-out price Clean room condition Breakfast is clean It's good to have a lot of help at the reception

Приняли радушно и даже раньше времени заезда, да и еще и номер доли с видом на море шикарным! Завтраки мутные, яйца в разных вариантах готовки. Вкуснейший хлеб и сыры. Слоеные пирожки и изумительный какао , кофе и разнообразные чаи. Номер просторный, с видом на море! Просто шик! В номере чайник и стаканы, кружки, кофе пакетики и чай разный. В ванной были для нас тапочки одноразовые, но не простые. Фен, полотенца и набор для тела и волос на оливковом масле. Огромная кровать и очень теплое одеяло. Единственное но, мы любим гулять и изучать местность и когда вернулись поздно, отель был закрыт. Пришлось идти за ключом.
