The Hotel was great. Downside that it has no car park. One time spent over 1.1/2Hours driving in Circles to find a parking spot. I was a bit disappointed in some thibgs….The Hotel takes a 100euro off your card as a security. Why? I paid cash all the time but wanted to have my evening dinner charged on my room and they refused because the bill was 104 euro. I never ever encountered such guest mistrust… I must add we waited a lot to get the second course.. a bit too much I would say.
The hotel was really beautiful, nice room, breakfast was great and varied. The staff very polite and courtious.
Avrei preferito saperlo prima.

The room was very comfortable. I had a room all to myself on the floor, so I didn't have to worry about soundproofing at all. The location was excellent, right near the beach. There was also a kitchen and a balcony where you could wash and dry your clothes. The bathroom facilities were great! I highly recommend this room! However, you must check out at 10:30 PM, and there's no daily cleaning, which is like a guesthouse, but it doesn't detract from the wonderful experience! The service was excellent; they proactively helped with my luggage and even called a taxi for me.
Modika Boutique Hotel (Modica Boutique Hotel) is located in Modika, southeast of Sicily. It is a four-star hotel full of modern charm, perfectly blending the local baroque style with modern design. Just a few kilometres from the historic centre of Modica, this hotel offers a peaceful setting and easy access to Modica's UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as St George's Cathedral and St Peter's Church. Known for its unique design and meticulous service, the hotel is ideal for business trips, romantic trips or family vacations.
The hotel is designed by the architectural firm CaberlonCaroppi and is inspired by Modica's baroque architecture, combining Mediterranean color with modern minimalist style. From the blue in the lobby to the wooden floor of the guest room, every detail exudes warmth and elegance. The hotel offers a wide range of room types, including Deluxe Suites, Junior Suites and Standard Rooms, particularly the Jacuzzi Suites on the fifth floor, with a private terrace and Jacuzzi overlooking Modica and the ocean in the distance, so you can immerse yourself in a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. Fully equipped with free Wi-Fi, a minibar, coffee maker and comfortable bathroom ensure guests enjoy the ultimate comfort.
Very cozy public space, with breakfast, free access to coffee, tea bags and cakes, the living room has a balcony for chatting and ventilation, the bathroom has shower gel (can wash hair), and it is spacious, large enough for yoga, and there is another bathroom balcony on the 3rd floor for drying clothes. In short, it is very comfortable and close to attractions and bus stops. At this price, it is very good value, but it's a pity that I only stayed for one night this time!

The third stop in Sicily, Syracuse, this time arranged a sea view room, really good, the room is very beautiful, the car is driven to the garage by the hotel, the car can be reserved in advance, the breakfast is very rich, meat 🥩, omelets, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee have service staff ready to send to the table. I took a sunrise on the morning of the New Year's Day 🌅 I am very happy [celebration][celebration][celebration][celebration][fireworks][fireworks][firecrackers][firecrackers]
The hotel is located in open countryside outside the residential centres. Accommodation and service of good level. nice and careful for all demands. Our room was a Junior suite.
I was sincerely expecting better. Living and bathroom on the ground floor and bedroom above. In the night it is a problem to go to a bathroom or take something from the refrigerator because you have to go down the stairs. Poor art furniture, I was expecting better there.
For the rest everything very well, pool, bar, service and atmosphere.
We will certainly return, but we will ask for a room in a single floor with all the nearby services.

I had a rather unpleasant stay at *Appartamenti Rosa Dei Venti* in Trapani.
First of all, the parking situation is very misleading. It's advertised as “free parking near the property,” but in reality, you’ll be given a business card upon arrival with the name of a parking lot located 3 km away in an industrial area beyond the port. They do offer a free shuttle to and from the parking lot, but be prepared to wait. Even if you prearrange your pick-up time, you'll likely have to call and ask “Where are you?” when the time comes.
As for the apartment itself — unfortunately, it was far from cozy. The building hardly gets any sunlight, so the space feels dark and chilly. I was freezing at night under a very thin blanket. The bathroom window opens into the shared stairwell, so you can hear people coming in and out, and even sounds from neighboring bathrooms — not exactly pleasant.
The location is central, but that also means a lot of street noise. There’s a café just below the windows. I was lucky it was a weekday and they closed around 11 PM — but not without the clatter of dumpsters and shutters being slammed. Conversations from people downstairs are easily heard inside the room.
To be fair, the apartment was clean, which is probably the only positive I can mention.
In summary, if you're staying in Trapani for just a day or two, I’d recommend booking a hotel instead — something more welcoming and better managed. And unless you're traveling without a car and plan to spend all your time in the city center, this place may not be the best option. For me, it was an overall disappointing experience.
GGabor RatkayThe room/bed/elevator/parking was comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly.
At the set dinner, it would have been better to have 3 dishes to choose from per category. If there had always been three types (pork/beef, chicken, fish).
The breakfast was lacking in vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers), and it would have been better to have a larger selection of savory foods (meat, cheese).
MMassimo FioreExcellent location, structure a little dated in the furnishings but still pleasant and functional. Equipped with a beautiful outdoor pool that however given the period we did not use.
GGuest UserThe hotel was not obvious for us - when we arrived, we drove around for about 10 minutes looking for a sign before parking on the wrong side of the road, and having to call for instructions. It was our fault, as the hotel tried contacting us earlier in the day but we did not have signal to take the call. Once we were instructed to the right place, it was super straightforward as Gianluca buzzed us in remotely, and upon verifying ID, let us into the unit and our bedroom. The lift in the building was super cool - for this experience alone I recommend staying in this hotel.
The room was charming. Our previous hotel was a suite so this felt a bit small, but it was homely all the same. The small downside was how warm it felt in the room. The air conditioning wouldn't work with the windows open, but it wasn't running very strong. At night, we preferred keeping the window open for some fresh air instead. The poster bed added a quaint and romantic feel to the room, and we were absolutely spoilt with a surprise of a bottle of Prosecco as a gift! Of course, the highlight of the whole place was the jacuzzi in the bathroom. As we both had to do some work and also were tired from a road trip, all of these little touches made the stay in this hotel incredibly luxurious for us. I really recommend this place for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon.

MMaximNThe hotel is located just a few minutes from the Messina Gate, which leads into the old city. Valet Car is a very convenient service for those arriving by car: a hotel employee will pick up your car and transport it to the indoor city parking lot for €25 per day. The most affordable room has a view of the wall, albeit decorated with artificial greenery. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with tea/coffee making facilities and robes (slippers are available upon request). The breakfast buffet is excellent, and there's an outdoor pool with sun loungers. The staff is very friendly. Check-out is unusually early – 10:30 AM, but we were allowed to stay 40 minutes longer.
GGuest UserI'm delighted to share my experience at this hotel.
It's truly an excellent hotel: the room was very comfortable and pleasant, with meticulous attention to detail. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail—small gestures like leaving fresh bottles of water and candy every day really make a difference and demonstrate great care and a positive attitude toward guests.
The location is also a major plus. It's true that the entrance through the parking lot can be a little difficult to find at first, but once you arrive, you discover that the hotel is in an excellent location: close to the seafront, easily accessible on foot, in a very pleasant, clean, and quiet neighborhood.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will definitely return in the future. I highly recommend it.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a good location, the overall room size is reasonable, tidy, the breakfast is also good, , but the price is not very attractive. The hotel staff was not very polite. We were in a hurry when checking out, but the staff preferred to continue chatting with other customers rather than taking our check-out key. It was not until I expressed many times that I really had to catch the bus that the staff reluctantly took my key.
