Excellent little spot by the beach, in our opinion this end of the beach was much nicer than the main Dikwella bay. Clean, calm and quiet - everything you could ask for. The hotel has private sun loungers which are always empty and available. The hotel food is great, the pizza is cheap and absolutely amazing. We tried surf lessons with an excellent surf school next door which was great fun. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean - totally fine. Hiriketiya is just 5 minutes down the road in a Tuk Tuk and to be honest this beachfront is much nicer than Hiriketiya which we found busy, touristy and dirty - but there are some great cafes, shops and restaurants to head over for in the evening or morning. Casa Smeralda staff were helpful and attentive - they always went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Overall, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who wants a peaceful, calm beach hotel to relax in! Side note: delivery apps did not work to this location but there are plenty of local restaurants to walk to.

A beautiful guest house, spent three weeks in Sri Lanka and constantly chose hotels with a breakfast included and decided to give priority to location and good reviews and did not regret This guest house has its beautiful kitchen with a large range of pans of pans pot bowls of blades for cooking. We went to the market and to the shop and bought food to cook delicious breakfast and snacks Rooms look very clean and new air conditioning works well eating their area on the balcony to drink tea and relax Good location, near the beach with the most beautiful underwater world as well as cheap supermarket and fruit fish market Recommended

Good, small rooms in an excellent location. I liked everything. The views are gorgeous. There weren't enough bath mats for the bathroom, it was very slippery. Only one working outlet per room. Otherwise, for $50, everything was great. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was cold, and there was hot water with excellent pressure. Turtles swim into the bay right outside the windows. I didn't like the tuk-tuk mafia near the hotel. When you call your own taxi, they start arguing with them, which is a bad situation. There are no shops around, but there are cafes. You can't really cook anything for yourself in their kitchen, but there is a kettle. There are tables in the kitchen with a wonderful view where you can eat your own food. Beer on the beach is 1000 rupees, sunbeds are 1000 rupees on the left beach, and $20 on the right beach.

Nera and staff were kind and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Settling into the generous space with a working kitchen was the cherry on top! The wildlife of monkeys, peacocks and colorful birds were on full display.. The location in the village of Unawatuna is excellent and about a 30 minute tuk tuk ride to Galle. There is a temple and lovely pond nearby with wading ducks. There is also a small supermarket with an adjacent vegetable stand about a 10 minute walk away. Jungle Beach and the Japanese Peace Pagoda are about a 30 to 40 minute trek. It would be helpful to add the Uber app to gauge tuk tuk pricing beforehand if you choose to use them.

A beautiful place. The hotel is located right on the shore of the ocean, all rooms with balconies and ocean view. Staff is very hospitality, helped carry bags, cleaned the room at request and always smiled. I would like to note the hotel manager, Darya. met in the hotel at the settlement, told about the hotel, about the surroundings where and what you can see, always was in contact. Hotel restaurant, just wonderful. All the dishes (mostly Italian) were very delicious. On the last day, at our request, the cook cooked a set of Sri Lanka national dishes, it was great. All additionally served the bread basket, butter. The pool is clean, warm. Rooms with good repair and normal furniture. Air conditioning worked quietly. The plumbing is in good condition.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Location is very convenient for visiting Turtle beach, Unawatuna, Galle and other interesting places. Owner is very friendly and attentive, he helped us to rent bike with discount and if you need anything else he will try to provide it. Owner recommended us Wijaya restaurant, it has access to turtle beach, where you can see big turtles, and restaurant also serve very delicious pizza. The price is very good for the area. We can recommend this place!

Excellent stay! The room is spacious and luminous. Close to buses, beaches, etc. Meals are delicious, home prepared with care. Bouddika is very helpful and interesting. He will do everything to help and show you around. Definitely an excellent place to stay for solo travelers, couples, families, etc. High quality. I will be back for sure! Thank you for having made my last days in Sri Lanka so special.

Lovely place with an amazing view. The lady who received me was so sweet and nice. They made me dinner and breakfast and it was all delicious. Very clean place and attentive staff. I would recommend! I also loved that they have water dispenser to fill my tumbler so I did not need to buy plastic bottled water. This I really appreciate. No complaints, great place and wish them the best.

В-третьих, при отеле вы не почувствуете себя одиноко и невовлеченным в мини-коммьюнити, поскольку здесь предусмотрительно много развлечений для любой погоды и разнообразного досуга: русская баня, настольный теннис, чистый бассейн для плавания, йога и много другого, а также классная вовлеченность администрации отеля, которая внимательно следит за комфортом и поддержанием настроения каждого гостя, ребята всей командой общаются с вами и не оставляют без обратной связи. В-четвертых, месторасположение отеля как бы само «отсекает» туристов с недостойным поведением, отдых не попсовый: отдыхающие интеллигентно проводят время на террасе своих номеров, либо в зоне reception читают книги, либо работают за столиками или вечерами знакомятся в ресторане, где кстати говоря, в меню каждое блюдо, из которых мы попробовали, было приготовлено вкусно, с душой, а подано для нас в балийском стиле. Кто-то общается за настольными играми, но никто не позволяет себе после заката шуметь и как-то мешать остальным. И наконец, про номера. Не сомневайтесь, ваше пребывание пройдет на чиле, потому что с просторными и чистыми номерами, качественными средствами гигиены для мытья волос и тела, функциональным минимализмом - вы забудете про напряжение, потому что для пребывания есть все необходимое. Из пожеланий к отелю: Неплохо было бы разместить перед входом в отель нечто похожее на душ для ног, чтобы смывать с себя песок после пляжа и невольно не тащить его на территорию или хотя бы разместить средство для смахивания песка прямо перед входом в номер: что-то вроде индивидуального веника постояльца. Также, мне не хватило приспособления для просушки одежды/полотенец. К сожалению, мы так сильно намокли перед заселением, что все свободное пространство мы превратили сушильную. Да, персонал нас предупреждал, что в качестве услуги есть прачечная, но ведь не любую вещь можно сдать, когда через час или три она очень нужна. В остальном - исключительно рекомендуем. Отдых оставил самые теплые воспоминания. При возможности, с удовольствием вернемся ещё раз.

Изначально планировалось парное путешествие, поэтому выбор пал на данный вариант. Как оказалось - это идеальный вариант! Приличная территория и отзывчивый персонал. Управляющий на шаг впереди с заботой о постояльцах. Индивидуальный подход к нуждам каждого 24/7. Общая кухня и семейная атмосфера - это восторг! На территории СПА и массаж в салоне, рядом, на одной территории при входе, бар со всем необходимым. Желающим почилить всегда рады. До пляжа считанные минуты ходьбы. Рекомендую виллу и хочу вернуться в этот вайб не раз.
