Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Cusco was a seamless experience. As Cusco is a major gateway city for Machu Picchu, choosing this hotel made transportation and itinerary connections incredibly convenient. The hotel's location is quiet but not isolated, making it easy to access the Old Town or head to the train station. The overall service was satisfying, with professional and friendly staff who are well-versed in the special needs of a high-altitude city, which put me at ease. The room was comfortable and tidy, providing a great place to rest after a day of activities. For travelers planning a trip to Machu Picchu who want a reliable, comfortable, and consistently good hotel, this is a highly recommended option.

The location is good, just near the Temple of the Sun. Although the suite area is a bit roundabout, it is a historical building after all, and was the communication room for the Inca Empire to convey orders (the Inca civilization did not develop writing). The breakfast is quite satisfactory. Because of the historical building, the wall is relatively thin, and the noise is still relatively loud. As a 50-square-meter suite, there is enough space for a bathtub but there is only a huge shower room... Is it because of the high altitude of Greater Cusco?

The location is very good, not far from the weapons square, there are many places to eat around. The room was very clean and the whole small courtyard was beautifully furnished. Hot water is good, shower is good. Renewed. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good, a variety of fruit drinks.

Overall a nice stay however we arrived late and there was nobody in the check in area. Took us a long time to check in as we had to wait in the dark

Yet, what truly sets Belmond Monasterio apart is its service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their service attitude is impeccable—perhaps the best in South America. A prime example: when I lost my credit card, they found it and returned it promptly. Compared to the Los Cabos Waldorf (which I mention due to its premium pricing), this hotel’s service is on another level—infinitely more personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt. I would love to give special recognition to my butler, though unfortunately, I have forgotten his name. In short, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Endless love for Belmond Monasterio.

Great location which is very close to the tourist center of Cusco. It is also just 5 mins walk to the train station if you want to travel to Machu Picchu.

The hotel is less than 100 meters from the Plaza de Armas, and you can walk to the main attractions in the old city. The room facilities are relatively new and the decoration style is similar to that in China. The bathroom is clean and tidy, and the wash basin and shower room have hot water 24 hours a day. The lobby downstairs is not big, but it is comfortably furnished and the breakfast is good. All in all, everything is good, but the price is a bit expensive.
