The hotel is well situated in the old quarter. Very convenient for getting around. The tram stop is right out front.
Our room was an odd setup. Twin beds positioned on different walls, more like for college roommates than a couple. The rooms aren't big, but they have kettle, closet, and a compact bathroom. It met our needs, with no extras, e.g., fridge or USB charging plugs.
Breakfast buffet has many options. It caters primarily to European tastes, but there are scrambled eggs and toasts for those who prefer a hot breakfast. The coffee options are plentiful and there were several types of tea. At $25CDN per person, we found it on the high side.
Tip: On arriving at the hotel we were faced with a long flight of stairs. With 2 large suitcases, it was a bit daunting. However, if you follow the sidewalk to the other side there is a ramp. Definitely a better option for people with bad knees or heavy bags.
The location was the best, right next to main station, big shopping mall, and tram stops. The room was modern ( it is either very well maintained or recently renovated ). The breakfast was great. It even provide juicer machine where you can make fresh juice by yourself (choices are: apple, carrot, beetroot). Something that I rarely see even in five stars hotel. The most amazing is the hospitality of the staff. We received welcome wawel chocolate during check in and polish pretzel during check out. Special thanks to the receptionist, Ola for passionately explaining the major tourist attractions in the city ( seriously, you have the talent to become a tour leader ;-) ). Also not to forget special thanks to Anita for recommending local polish restaurant and offered welcome chocolate. Both are amazing staff and I can feel their sincerity when serving guest, so make sure you treat them well Mercure, they are your assets :)
The hotel is generally quite good and offers a decent overall experience. The room was comfortable, and everything met basic expectations.
However, there was a very serious issue during my stay. At around 1 a.m., while I was asleep, a stranger entered my room using a key. It appears that the front desk mistakenly gave another guest access to my room. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about guest safety and security.
I strongly urge the hotel to review its procedures and ensure that such incidents do not happen again.
The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short 10‑minute walk from the train station and very close to the scenic highlights of the old town. This made exploring the area both convenient and enjoyable.
In terms of amenities, the water pressure / water saving mode could be improved, as the outflow was rather weak and not very comfortable.
On the positive side, the breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that made mornings a real treat.
We had a great stay at the Pollera. Many of the 4 or 5 star hotels we looked at were lovely but after some research we realised the Pollera was in an equally great location, maybe 1 to 2 minutes walk away from such hotels, but way cheaper! The hotel is in traditional Polish style which we really enjoyed. The rooms were large and comfortable and had everything we needed. We slept well and had zero issues. The staff were very helpful and kind too! We did not have breakfast at the property as we noticed there were many cafes and bakeries nearby and this worked better for us. As mentioned though, the location was the real draw! We were a 3 minute walk (if that) away from the main square and a similar walk away from what seemed to be the main high street. The hotel is around 20 minutes from the airport and cost us PLN 80 in an uber. Other than that journey, we were pretty much able to walk everywhere. Any trips we went on picked up from a location that was a 7 minute walk away too.
Overall, a great hotel with traditional charm. Great value for money!
Reasonable price, super convenient location. Came here for a course that was held in the hotel and it was so convenient that I just need to go down to lobby level for the course and return to my room within 5 min to rest. Can’t imagine staying in a different hotel and having to commute in the freezing weather for the already intense course. Getting to and from the airport is literally just across the link bridge and you don’t need to even expose yourself to outdoors at all.
Very nice location in the historic area of Krakow. As there is no reception, checkin is done through e-reception which is an interesting solution.
Rooms are very clean and despite being surrounded by nightlife the rooms are quiet.
As the name suggests, the apartment is more suitable than the hotel.
The room was a bit dusty but comfortable.
The only thing I want you to be careful about is the place to actually sleep and the reception building where you check in & leave your luggage.
The receptionist will be the Santi Hotel, which is about a 1-minute walk from this Grozuka 21, and I think it will be anxious because there is nothing on the door of this Santi Hotel, but it's okay if you open the door and go to the left. .
Upon checking into our room, we unfortunately noticed insects present, along with several dead insects already in the room. We immediately reported this to the front desk. The receptionist handled the situation very professionally and kindly arranged a complimentary upgrade to the nearby DoubleTree by Hilton, located just a few steps away. After a long day of travel, this level of service and care was truly appreciated and handled very well by the staff.
Booked a twin room. facilties in the room great ipad style device for the lights heating tv etc. breakfast outstanding. very chic bar which has a restaurant also. urban hip coffee shop frequented by student and young adults. I assume good coffee and WiFi. Spa very nice will sauna and steam. please note you have to be naked sat on a towel if you use the sauna. and naked for steam. I highly recommend the location 15 minutes walk to old town 5 minutes to the Jewish quarter. Hotel offers free guided walking tours.

SSiraI absolutely loved my stay at Stradom House, Autograph Collection. From the moment you enter the lobby and bar, the stunning interior decor sets the tone, and the room itself was spacious, artfully designed, and luxurious yet comfortable, with elegant furniture and a beautiful bathroom—easily a 10/10. My room was located in a separate building accessed through an underground tunnel, which at first seemed quirky but turned out to be utterly charming, as the tunnel itself is beautifully decorated and enchanting to walk through. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious hot dishes made to order from the à la carte menu complemented by an abundant buffet, all enjoyed in a gorgeous breakfast room overlooking a peaceful garden—a truly fantastic way to start the day. The location is another strong advantage, within an easy walk of the Market Square, Wawel Castle, and the lively Kazimierz district. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, style, and unforgettable experiences—I highly recommend it.

GGuest UserI was very satisfied with my one-night stay at Hotel Wentzl for New Year’s Eve. This was the last available room I could find for December 31st after all other platforms were sold out.
I only requested a room with a nice view, but was pleasantly surprised to get Room 23 with a perfect, direct view of Rynek Square, ideal for watching the fireworks. Truly an unforgettable memory for New Year’s Eve 2025.
The room has a classic, older style but was comfortable and well maintained. High ceilings, strong heating, hot water, and full amenities including toiletries and slippers. Check-in was exactly at 2 PM, and the staff were polite and very supportive.
Highly recommended for location and experience.
GGuest UserThis is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed in in recent years. It's an old building, but it's been renovated in recent years in a classic, exquisite style. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities. The hotel is close to the heart of the old town, yet incredibly quiet. There's no hustle and bustle, just the smile of the front desk lady every time I pass by.
GGuest UserThe hotel is right opposite to the Krakow Main Station and a big shopping mall, and is around 10 minutes from the gate of the Old Town. The hotel has a cool lobby too. The staff was friendly and polite. The room was slightly too small but it got a very decent and cool decoration and could be controlled with a tablet (including the TV). The bed was comfortable. Yet, the lack of a gym/pool might be an issue to those who want to exercise. Overall, this is a hotel of very decent quality and professional staff!
DDe Pronto A BordoThe location is excellent and the staff are quite attentive. The beds are generally quite basic. In fact, mine broke when I tried to get up (room 103). Luckily, there was no problem getting another room for the last night. But in that very room, one of the two beds also had a missing slat from the bed frame (room 204). That's when I discovered that the shared bathrooms are super different depending on the block of rooms you're assigned. There's quite a lot of noise in the hallways, and the hot water runs out quickly during peak hours.
Although it's called an ”Aparthotel,” there are no cooking facilities or a fridge to keep things cool. Only instant coffee and tea ***** at reception (and this is free).
Overall, it's fine for the location if you're going on excursions or leaving early for the airport, but it's not excellent in terms of quality.
AAnonymous UserB&B hotel located in Nowy Targ, a town close to Zakopane. The room is clean and tidied everyday. With amenities like water boiler, hair dryer, etc. everyday there is 2 bottled water provided. Location is close to Nowy Targ bus station and restaurants. A supermarket right next to the hotel, opened until 2330. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning to ski in zakopane.
HHIU LAMLocation: it’s around 700m walk from a tram station, takes a while to get to city centre. There’s a bus station that is just next to the hotel for going to the airport. Room is okay spacious. Kettle and coffee etc, WiFi, hangers, TV provided. No hair dryer/ fridge. WiFi connection is quite weak tho. Hygiene is okay.
