Breakfast- smaller selection than usual five stars but it was high quality.
Activities- so much to do if you’re into fitness! Hyrox, Spartan, HITT, Muay Thai, rock climbing (some have surcharges- need to Check)
Service- I found this lacking in terms of front desk service and phone as everything you are asked to dial 0. Maybe it’s the language barrier.
Ten step onsen- only available 2 timings/day 11am and 5pm so you really have to plan your time around it which was annoying so we did not end up doing
Late check out- not available! Allowed to use facilities, only open shower available and change at the spa.
Beach club- free use of bean bags for hotel guest. But usage of pool is chargeable with minimum spend (depending where you choose to sit it’s a different price) free activities for hotel guest- kayak, paddle board, padel )
Pool- take note pool not allowed for kids below 12. I found the hotel very stingy with towels. Also lack service. Nobody comes to you to offer menu and ask what you’d like, I had to look high and low for attention.
As you walk out from Varana. there are some restaurant options (6-8 restaurants) very affordable.
Overall, we had a good time but lacked the magic somehow.

The hotel was everything we had expected. A little further from the beach than some but we knew this when booking. There was a free bus to the beach a few times a day but also a nice walk. The welcome at reception was warm and check in quick. We had booked connecting family rooms so we had the beauty of two bathrooms but with privacy if we wanted it. We didn't have breakfast as there are plenty of places to eat outside the hotel but it seemed busy.the pool area was lovely and private and there were always free beds. All in all a lovely reasonably priced place to stay.
It cost 150🐖 per person from the pier. Check-in was in the middle. Ms. Guan was a nice lady and took us to the room. Having said the precautions, the most important thing is to remind us monkeys. When monkeys come back to eat, lock the refrigerator door and don’t put important items in the living room. We all thought it was a joke, but it turned out that the monkeys were really rampant. Monkeys will dig through trash cans, eat all the coconut meat, and even sneak into the room to eat snacks... so be sure to lock the door when you go out. The toilet in the room is open-air, and there are snakes. We all saw them, but they were very small. When I came back in the evening, there were a lot of hermit crabs, snails, and geckos by the pool. The ecology is very good, like a zoo, hahaha. The hotel rents a motorcycle for 250🐖.
More than 30 kilometers from Krabi Town, on the side of the road, traffic depends on motorcycles. No breakfast, go to the nearby restaurant to eat, not far from a very good dinner, spicy. It is very convenient to live here to go to salt water hot springs and forest hot springs to ride a motorcycle. The resort is a resort, the facilities are simple, outside during the day, sleeping at night, the price is cheap, and the requirements cannot be high.
The first time to meet here. Good mood, good time, and good atmosphere. The service of something is great. And the owner person is friendly and helpful of customer.
The location is right on the beach. There coast in front of the resort has a lot of rocks and coral, but the property offered free beach shoes to protect your feet. They also have free beach towels for you to use while you stay.
Every night there is a fire show for free, and the happy hour for drinks runs the entire time. The pool is also very nice with plenty of loungers. There is not much to do unless you book tours, but if you are just looking for a place to relax for a few days, this is perfect.

The hotel is simply super for the money. Everything is more expensive on Phi Phi, for example, 1.5 liters of water costs 40 BAHT, and on the mainland 14 BATH. Therefore, room prices are more expensive here.
1163 BAHT for two days on PHI PHI for two. Room M27 with air conditioning, good Internet and a private bathroom, TV (we did not need it), water was supplied once. Shampoo and shower gel available.
Of course, the room had some drawbacks, such as: 1) the hot water did not work, although there was a heater, we did not check it right away, and then we were too lazy to go to the reception and washed ourselves with cold water. 2) after a shower, not all the water went into the drain (incorrect floor slope). 3) our room was on the corner of the hotel and there was increased noise from motorcycles and conversations of passers-by (but this was also a plus, it was not on a mountain, but in the lowest place possible in this hotel). There was a small climb when approaching the hotel, we coped with it normally, it was training before going to observation decks 2 and 3.
We did not have any horrors with lizards and other creatures crawling into the room, and there were no holes in the walls and floor.
Somewhere the paint on the walls was uneven and there were no slippers 😁, but I repeat for the price we paid we did not expect 5*.
When booking at PHI PHI you need to pay special attention to the height of the hotel, climbing to the observation decks along the way we met hotels located much higher than ours and guests lived in them and went up and down there several times a day. Well, do not forget about the proximity to the bars in terms of noise.
Great little place right across the street from where the songthaew leaves to Ao Nang, a few minutes walk from the pier where you can take the longtail boats to Railay beach or Ao Nang beach and enough restaurants and little eateries just steps away.
Staff is friendly and helpful with any questions. When I was sick they made sure to leave water and fresh towels in front of my room every day.
Would come back if I’m in the area again.
I would like to see more preparation for power outages. There is no backup power, no flashlights, so when this situation happens, we cannot stay and it is difficult to pack up and move out.
The location is okay, the atmosphere is good, the room is clean and quiet.

MMarkA lovely, nicely done resort built into the side of a hill in a quiet village. Very close to the bay and little restaurants and near a 7/11. Very nice host. Nice that they accepted our dog. I would stay there again.
EeuzhI stayed for one night, but enjoyed my stay. The room is pretty good, the view from the window is nice. I really liked the bathroom which has a big opening in the ceiling, makes it fell like you're outside.
