Pet-friendly Hotels in Hawaii, United States

I was a bit skeptical about the feel of the area and the hotel, but everything worked great. The location is perfect and about a five minute walk from the beach. The room was clean when I entered, and set to 61 degrees F. The room looks a bit dated, but the hot water is superb and the bed comfortable. For the price point, this is an amazing value in Waikiki.

Its location is definitely its biggest advantage. Just cross the street to the market, and you're right on Waikiki Beach's main strip, where you'll find everything – beautiful scenery, food, drinks, and shopping. Plus, there's a Target supermarket right across from the hotel, which is super convenient for grabbing food and drinks. The breakfast is capped at $20 per person, which usually gets you a sandwich and a coffee, not including the tip. It's not a buffet, which was a bit disappointing.

Very good location, lots of bar and restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly and cool. The housekeeping is on point, and there’s also a laundry in the hotel. The parking is quite expensive though (around 67$) so we canceled our car. It’s our second time here, we will definitely choose Ohia waikiki hotel again

Extremely convenient! Waikiki Beach is just across the street. If you get an ocean view room, sitting on the balcony watching the ocean is incredibly relaxing. Kalākaua Ave is right downstairs, offering plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The rooms are newer than the Hilton's, and parking is easy. I'll definitely be back next time.

Staff friendly and helpful. I had trouble booking online rate, one of the staff indicated that gave a discount for Ex-military/Military, assisted and booked the room for 3 more nites. Service was very good. Extra towels available and amenities provided as needed. Location was great, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and more.

The room was decent, but it was advertised as a sea view room, and the reality was a huge letdown – the sea was so far away we could only see a tiny corner of it. The hotel's location isn't too far from the main street, nor is it too close, making it easily walkable. For the area, it offers pretty good value for money.

The hotel is very close to the beach, just a 5-minute walk. However, the room was incredibly tiny, barely fitting a bed with just enough space to squeeze by. The bathroom smelled like vomit, and it stank for all three days of our stay. There are only three elevators, so going up and down often involved a long wait. Breakfast was included, but it was served on an outdoor terrace on the 3rd floor, making it really hard to find a seat to eat. We were exposed to the wind and rain, and if it suddenly rained, we'd get soaked.

Went there for our honeymoon, and the partial ocean view was actually better than I expected! The room condition itself was all fine, but the bathroom was the worst! It's a dry bathroom, but there's no shower door or curtain in the shower stall, so it literally floods... I almost slipped several times in the bathroom. And the towel rack is right above the toilet, so you can't even hang towels there. There's some kind of hook by the door, but how are you supposed to hang all your towels there? Also, for honeymoons, everyone usually gets welcome gifts and decorations... but after checking in, there was nothing. When I asked at the info desk, they said it's something they do after you've stayed one night, on the evening of the next day or something. They just brushed me off, and there was nothing at all during our entire stay. When I mentioned these issues at checkout, they gave me a box of cookies, but it felt like I was being treated as a difficult customer... Anyway, aside from these problems, it wasn't bad, and Hawaii itself was absolutely wonderful!

The hotel has a parking lot, a small gym, and a swimming pool, all fully equipped. There's even a small microwave in the room, which is quite convenient for heating up food. Shell and Foodhall are right next door, and it's less than a 5-minute drive away. Since it's a newly opened hotel this year, everything looks very new and clean, and it was indeed very well cleaned. There's even hand sanitizer next to the elevator, which is reassuring, haha. Driving to the airport the next morning only took about 20 minutes, very convenient. I recommend it for a short stay~

The view wasn't what I expected, but it was good enough. I was satisfied. I wondered if early check-in was possible, but I was lucky enough to be able to check in right away. The beach towels were available for unlimited rental, which was really convenient whenever I went to the beach. I'd definitely stay here again next time.
