This is Hilton's hotel in downtown Providence, close to Providence and the West Bank. The Rhode Island School of Design and Brown University campuses are on the east bank of the river, which is very convenient. There is a park on the west side of the hotel, and the City Hall is at the other end of the park. Macy's is one intersection away. There is a Starbucks not far downstairs, and the state legislature is also located there. It is very convenient. The surrounding area is mature. The hotel has a high-end space design, with a small kitchen, a large space, a lobby on the second floor, and breakfast on the second floor, which is very comfortable. The service process is simple and fast.
Great location (Applebee's right next door!). It was very clean -- that's not something I can say for most hotels post pandemic. Breakfast was good and the hotel was easy to navigate. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back on Aquidneck Island.
The room was good, but we booked for two nights. Due to the delay of the plane to one day, the front desk said that it was gone for two days. It was equivalent to paying for nothing. Fortunately, the official solved the problem.
The location is great, close to Macy's, the State Capitol, Rhode Island School of Design, Brown University, and not far from the train station. I could just walk there to attend my child's graduation ceremony.
Driving from New York to Rhode Island to visit school, staying at Aloft. The reception brother was very warm and reminded that there was free coffee in the morning. The room was clean and spacious, full of design. You can choose the hotel's $35 valet parking or choose to park in the parking lot next to it (a lot of parking lots nearby are about $20). It is walking distance to Rhode Island Academy of Art and Brown. There are not many places to eat nearby, it will be a little inconvenient at night, but you can walk to downtown for food during the day. recommend!
The room was cozy and stylish, with a unique, artistic vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring Providence.
Hotel location is very convenient, breakfast is good, parking is convenient, hotel decoration and facilities: a bit old, but the room is very good, suitable for travel, it is recommended
I had the most dissatisfying stay recently at the Hampton Inn in Smithfield RI. This was a one night local getaway for me to have a little alone time, to get some work done, and to relax. I have often stayed at Hiltons but not at the particular location. Right off the bat I found the desk person to be grumpy, short with me, and unfriendly, Not to mention that when I arrived I had to wait for him at the desk as he was outside,
Once settled in my room the wifi was inaccessible. I tried several times and there just wasn't a strong enough signal for my computer to hook in. Not only was this disappointing but it didn't allow me to get the work done that I had planned on doing.
The room above me sounded like a bowling alley all night long so sleep wasn't possible.
In the morning the tv no longer worked, Seemed to possible be a bug with the clocks falling behind or something.
Then, when leaving, there wasn't even anyone at the desk to speak with - just a box to put in your plastic room key for disinfecting.
All in all it was a very disappointing stay and I won't be returning,

GGuest UserThis “boutique” hotel was NOT inexpensive. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the building itself lacked everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was so dark it was impossible to read.
There was no room for two people to place toiletries in the bathroom. There was no closet or dresser, so if one is staying for more than one night it would be difficult to store clothing. There were exactly two hooks on the wall and four hangers!
Worst of all….. the mattress was so uncomfortably soft that my husband slept sitting up on a hard chair.
Perhaps some would find this hotel charming, ……not us.
