Hotels With Pools in Pest, Hungary

This hotel was clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We had lunch at The River Bar which was reasonably priced and the food was good, / We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on that. The room was clean, slightly dated but had everything you needed. The Spa was clean, would recommend to bring sliders/crocs as the floor in the swimming pool area was very slippy, although the hotel does provide a robe and slippers. One of the saunas was out of action but they had other ones available to use. In terms of location it is slightly out of the way, which was nice as it was quiet. We got a taxi and used the tram to get to the city centre which was fairly simple. Overall very good value to stay here and very good that the spa facilities is included at no extra fee. The room is big, with a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. The bathroom is also big, but the shower is a bit small. The double bed in the bedroom is big enough for two adults and one child to take a nap. Next to it is the New York Cafe, where you can book brunch with the front desk, 25 euros for adults and 12.5 euros for children under 11. There is also a discount supermarket next to the hotel, and you can take a few bus stops to the city center.

Lovely experience, service was polite and helpful. Rooms were very clean as well as the hotel itself. The buffet breakfast in morning was excellent and surprised but the food at the hotel on upper floor on the gallery was also really good, we had light bites - salad and drinks. Quite happy to have spent an afternoon relaxing there. Thank you for a wonderful stay will definitely recommend to my friends going to Budapest. And I'd be keen to stay there again. It's a great place close to amenities and bars and vintage shops.

The apartment takes a straight road to the subway station, but there is no ticket machine at the subway entrance. You have to walk to the other end of the subway station to buy tickets. Next to the subway station is a cheap supermarket, street and shopping malls, and there are two supermarkets near the apartment. The apartment has an indoor pool, gym, sauna, restaurant and bar, breakfast is average. The room is large and clean. The small room is fully equipped and small, and the door is more blocked after opening. The bathroom has a bathtub, but the hard bath screen above is too small, and the water will splash outward during the shower. It is recommended to use a soft shower curtain. The place to hang a coat behind the door is best to have plywood for guests to pull down and sit down to change shoes. The room should be replenished with ordinary coffee tea bags every day, not only on the day of check-in. The apartment waiter is friendly and will say hello, it would be better if you can add a smile.

While the hotel is located slightly outside the city center, it is conveniently situated directly on a metro line, with only 3–4 stops to the city center, which takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Regarding airport access: for those traveling light (e.g., with a trolley suitcase), public transportation is a convenient option, with a direct bus to the city center and then metro, total travel time around 50 minutes. For those with heavier luggage, it is recommended to use a taxi for comfort and convenience. The hotel is also next to a large shopping mall and several supermarkets and casual dining options, although higher-quality restaurants are found in the city center. The hotel rooms are adequate and acceptable, with generally fair cleanliness. The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center with a wide variety of machines, allowing for a full-body workout. Additionally, the hotel has a pleasant swimming pool and a very professional and well-heated sauna, which enhances the overall wellness experience. The presence of water dispensers both in the gym and near the sauna is highly appreciated and essential for guest safety, helping to prevent dehydration.

Although Novotel Budapest is not new, the rooms are well-maintained and the service is excellent. The breakfast buffet is a cut above the rest and the gym and pool are usable. If you’re comfortable taking the bus/AirPort Express it’s not much of an effort to get around (if you’re fit you can walk to Pest np). There’s a great diner/bar across the highway and a mall 5 mins away for a Spar supermarket and upscale restos and shopping. One downside is that they tend to cut the aircon during the weekdays and the rooms can get uncomfortable (Saturdays the room can be colder if you prefer).

A perfect hotel for a weekend stay in Budapest, or even during your vacation. There are three beautiful pools and saunas, including a steam room. Perfect breakfast with a wide selection.

The hotel is more like a vacation home. The restaurant is open only for breakfast. It's closed after breakfast. The bar is closed. There's no cafe. The rooms are very cramped. The bathrooms are extremely tight, barely big enough for one person. The larger ones in the photos are few and far between. Breakfast is good. Unfortunately, chlorinated pools are available in the hotel next door, which is connected by an underground tunnel. The restaurant and cafe are already open in the hotel next door, but everything resembles a spa from the 1980s. The location on the island is very nice. Peaceful, with lots of greenery, old trees, and birdsong. The center is almost a 2-kilometer walk away, but there's a bus stop near the hotel.

I highly recommend the hot springs here. My skin feels so good after soaking in them. The spa pool is small, but it's enough. The hotel service is very good. They will contact guests in advance about the precautions, which I think is very good.
