Hotels With Pool in West Bengal, India

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean and modern. The location is very central, close enough to the airport and also to city center. The only issue I have is they would not allow the AC to go below 21° and at night it would get hot in the room, I asked the front desk and they told me it was general standards. Other then that the stay was a total pleasure and the breakfast menu was good.

Hotels play a crucial role whenever I'm out for a trip. Firangipani Suites is by far one of the best stays that I've been to. Starting from the location to the rooms & services - everything is top notch. The food served to the guests is also super delicious. An extra shoutout to the behaviour and cooperation of the staffs. Looking forward to my next stay at this property.

We checked -in the hotel on Saturday night .. there are 2 club that’s very noisy inside the Hotel premises … the music was very (extra) loud  (no soundproof walls )although  our room was on 4th floor still it was not helpful in anyway the music ended at 4.00 am (both on Saturday /Sunday) it was very bad experience staying at the property .

Journey time to hotel from airport about 20 min drive. Hotel to cricket stadium journey time will be 15 to 20 min drive. It’s easy to get uber and ola service. Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. Thank you

Everything was perfect; except the dinner buffet. We will come to that later.  I quote four memorable experiences.   1. The reception staff was well-trained and professional and any problems such as a billing confusion was resolved effortlessly, and more, the manager suggested me to relax in my room while they sort out the issue; no need to stand at the reception. What a nice gesture!   2. There was some drainage issue in one of the rooms (I had booked several rooms). A call to zero resolved the issue within 10 minutes. The service was ultra-fast for a hotel of this size.   3. They have shown a bold move by placing specially challenged (speech and hearing) individuals at public facing roles such as the butler, the restaurant waiter, etc. They are all well-trained and were able to communicate with my parents, my kid, and us effortlessly. Of course, none of us are trained in sign-language but somehow they managed it extremely well; hence this was a unique and amazing experience. 4. While we were checking in, there was some confusion with some of our guests who hadn't arrived yet. So, we decided to drop the bags and come back later for checkin. When the manager noticed that my elderly parents were in the car outside, they sent a couple of bottles of water to the car. Costs nothing but left a lasting impression!  The dinner buffet was fine in general but the management could work on the menu and taste better, given the spotless nature of all of their other amenities and services. The breakfast buffet, however, had amazing taste. Moreover, in any other city, I would not have this complain but in Kolkata, the locals are typically foodies and the cheapest to the most expensive places in the city cannot compromise on taste. I would like to give the hotel a benefit of the doubt- I stayed during a (better: the) major North Indian festival. That might explain the main cooks on leave and backup options turned on, who tried their best but did not quite get it right.

It's a very good hotel, with great amenities, and good staff behaviour and great stay. A good hotel to recommend and has a great food.

A flawless experience. Incredibly luxurious stay at a great price for a business traveler. Excellent English skills by everyone. Room serve was prompt, even though I didn't order until almost midnight. Nawab, the *** helping with cars, was a truly phenomenal help. He called my ride and made sure my trip went smoothly, and got me and the car loaded up and on my way.

While the booking process and stay experience were satisfactory, I would like to highlight a concerning pricing discrepancy. The rate quoted on Trip.com was approximately 40% higher than the price offered directly by the hotel for the same room category and stay dates. This difference is significant, and frankly unexpected, especially considering that I am a Diamond member with your platform. As a valued member, I expect Trip.com to provide competitive or preferential rates, not higher than what the property itself offers. I request a review of this pricing inconsistency and an explanation of how such a large variation occurred. Kolkata hotels are expensive, comparable to Mumbai prices. The hotel is not very hygienic, no breakfast is set, and the location is 11 kilometers from the airport. It is more formal to pay for Kolkata to the small kiosk in the middle of the road outside.

Excellent services although felt that some mosquitoes were there. Otherwise it was a good stay. Breakfast was awesome and staff is super friendly and helpful. All together highly recommended to stay.
