The location of the hotel is very good that it only takes 2-3 mins walk from beppu station. And around the hotel are different restaurants and shops in which you can buy souvenirs. Most importantly, there are 2 convenient stores nearby, 1 lawson and 1 family mart.
The room with a modern style is well decorated, spacious and clean. The view from the room is also stunning. The picture was taken from my room. You can also enjoy this view when you are bathing as there is a big window in the bathing room.
The onsen and the swimming pool are also good. The water in the swimming pool is warm even it’s in winter. So no matter which season you are in, you can still swim in the pool at the rooftop and at the same time enjoy the panoramic view of beppu. The only one thing I don’t like is that the cable machine in the gym room is so noisy and the motion is not smooth. It only has 1-10 kg dumbbells so if you want to get your chest pumped, you will have to find another way😭
btw, the breakfast is just normal. You can skip it and use that 3000 sth dollars to get sth delicious.
if I travel to beppu again, this hotel will be my first priority fr.
We changed room type when we got to the hotel (from Seaside Maisonette to one of the Tower apartments) and this was seamlessly offered to us by the night staff. Service is top notch. Great for families. The food is wonderful and there is private onsen in every single room.
Highly recommend for families of up to 4 persons to stay in the tower apartments. They are very new and well furnished.
The first thing that impressed me about my stay was the excellent service. All the staff were very kind, polite, and warm, making my stay feel at ease.
The hotel is a little far from the station, but the surrounding area is very quiet, making it perfect for those looking for work or quiet time.
The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, so I slept well. However, there were a few things that bothered me. First, I could hear footsteps from the floor above, so I felt like the soundproofing wasn't very good. Also, for some reason, the bathroom smelled like stale wastewater, which was disappointing.
All in all, the hotel offers good value for money and is highly recommended, especially for those looking for a comfortable, quiet environment.
This hotel is an annex of AMANEK YULA-RE, granting guests access to the main building's 16th-floor public bath (onsen) and 17th-floor outdoor infinity pool and Jacuzzi.
**Pros:**
1. **Excellent Location:** It's just a 5-minute walk from the JR station, the bus stop for Fukuoka, and the bus stop for the Beppu Hells. The Fukuoka-bound bus station (located near a shopping mall) is also conveniently reachable within a 10-minute walk.
2. **Stunning Infinity Pool:** The infinity pool offers breathtaking views, including Beppu Tower, and is perfect for photos. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during my stay, so it was deserted during the day. The operating hours are quite reasonable, covering most of the day during my visit.
3. **Impressive Lobby & Dining:** The main building's lobby boasts an impressive design. Dining options are available on the first floor, and at 3300 JPY (approximately 160 RMB), the price is quite reasonable, comparable to what you'd expect at a star-rated hotel in China.
4. **Convenient Amenities & Services:** Shower caps and other amenities are available for collection at the front desk. Luggage storage is also provided.
5. **Spacious & Quiet Rooms:** Rooms are spacious. The hotel is quiet, ensuring a very good night's sleep.
Hello, everyone!
We recently stayed at this hotel, and the experience was mixed — there are some nice touches, but also noticeable shortcomings.
**Room:**
The room was spacious but clearly outdated; furniture and interior look worn. The ventilation works, yet it still feels quite stuffy inside. It would be great if the hotel improved air-conditioning or installed mosquito screens: the sea view is beautiful, but opening the window isn’t an option because of too many insects.
**Facilities & Service:**
The only real extras are massage service and a shared onsen. There’s no gym, pool, or other activities — the hotel is designed for quiet relaxation. A shuttle service is available, which is convenient, but if you miss it, getting to the hotel on your own can be quite difficult. During this stay the hotel was quite busy, and it often took a long time to catch the elevator to our floor.
**Dining:**
Breakfast and dinner can be pre-booked; the food was tasty and varied. The bar offers a pleasant atmosphere with a decent drink selection, and in the evening the lobby lounge opens with alcoholic drinks and light snacks — a nice way to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
**Location:**
The property faces Beppu Bay, yet the seaside feeling is limited — there are few walking areas nearby, and due to insects it’s hard to enjoy the open air.
**Overall:**
A good option for a calm, onsen-style getaway with decent food and polite staff, but when the hotel is crowded, the lack of facilities and outdated rooms become more noticeable. With some modernization and better infrastructure, this could be an excellent resort.
I was surprised to find this hotel online. The service was excellent and attentive, the environment was pleasant, and each room had its own private room for dinner and breakfast, both of which were exquisitely prepared.
Enclosed by nature, the rooms have both indoor and outdoor hot springs. In winter, you can enjoy the onsen in your room, which is covered for rain protection. In summer, you can enjoy the warmth and comfort of the sun. Each room offers ample privacy.
The service was excellent. A car was available to pick you up in front of JR Yufuin Station, and the return trip would also be to the station.
The room is well-equipped but a bit dilapidated, the lighting is dim, and the children said the bed was not very comfortable. From the room, you can see the geothermal smoke all around outside the window, and the scenery is beautiful.
Do note that it is outskirts of hiji, driving at night is quite quiet. The hotel doesn’t have private bath in the room so do take note as showering will be shared under traditional public bath house. Family bath house is available for booking only, which the staff let us use it during the two nights there. Thank you for the great service!
The accommodation is clean and the facilities are five-star, making it very suitable for families with children. However, younger children may need some extra care. The only drawback is that transportation is slightly inconvenient; driving is recommended. There is a kitchen with complete cooking utensils. Providing bicycles for guests to go down the mountain to shop would be even better.

GGuest UserThis hotel provides excellent services and maintains high degree of privacy for guests. Delicious dinner and breakfast that could be enjoyed in private dining room. The environment is quiet and peaceful that enabled us to relax for two nights. Although it does not provide public bath, the private open air bath is very good.
GGuest UserWe booked two rooms for this stay. The Classic Twin room we were assigned wasn't ideally situated; its balcony overlooked the parking lot, although we could still catch glimpses of the bay. On the plus side, it was conveniently located on the same side as the hot spring pool, making access very easy. The other room, a City View, had a much better location, offering views of Mount Ougi, the city, and the bay.

AAnonymous UserLove this place! Our glamping experience was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well everything was set up. The tent was spacious, cozy, and beautifully furnished, with all the comforts of a hotel room but surrounded by nature.
The location was perfect—nestled in nature with stunning views and just the right amount of seclusion for a peaceful escape. We were thrilled to find a campfire pit for cozy evenings, even though the rain meant we couldn’t use it. The sound of raindrops on the tent was surprisingly relaxing, though!
WWen Wen 1011The hotel is incredibly luxurious and comfortable, with a wide array of facilities. They offer a shuttle bus service to and from Beppu JR Station. Beyond the hot springs, there are entertainment options like arcade games, a shopping center, and a spa – truly comprehensive facilities. The hotel also provides a 'one-night, two-meals' package, with delicious food, especially the buffet, which boasts a rich selection and high-quality dishes.
