Svetlana SolnyshkinaWe stayed at the hotel for 7 days. Overall, our impressions were mixed: the resort has both strong points and areas that definitely need improvement.
The island itself is very beautiful, large, and lush. There's a picturesque sandbar and an aviary. We absolutely loved the seaplane flight – we even got an upgrade. The daily feeding of stingrays and sharks also left a lasting impression.
We stayed in a Sunset Villa. The villa was new, modern, and very beautiful. We particularly liked the spacious bathroom with a tub. Housekeeping was excellent – the maid cleaned the room meticulously every day.
It's worth noting that the most affordable rooms are located near the reception and, in my opinion, are even better than some of the older, unrenovated beach villas.
If snorkeling is important to you, be aware that there's practically no house reef here. There's almost nothing to see underwater from the beach. Only near the water villas are there small patches of corals and fish, but it can't be called a proper house reef.
The main disappointment was the food.
However, the restaurant staff deserves the highest praise. Everyone was very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. But there are issues with the organization: tablecloths aren't changed after guests leave, and crumbs are simply brushed onto the floor before the next diners. For a five-star hotel, this seems strange.
Buggy service around the island isn't very regular, and sometimes you have to wait for them. But this wasn't a big problem for us, as our villa was close to the reception.
Overall, the staff is very friendly and genuinely tries to help guests. However, the service isn't quite at the level you'd expect from a Maldivian five-star resort. There's a lack of attention to detail, proactivity, and that atmosphere of care that many Maldivian hotels are known for.
Villa Park is a resort with stunning nature, a beautiful island, and comfortable, updated rooms. But the weak service, uninspired food, lack of a house reef, and some organizational shortcomings prevent it from getting a high rating.
If a beautiful island, comfortable accommodation, and nature are your top priorities, you'll likely enjoy your stay here. However, if you value high-level Maldivian service, diverse dining, and a good house reef, I'd recommend considering other options.

Guest UserOur recent stay at Radisson Blu Maldives was nothing short of extraordinary, and we simply have to give credit to the incredible team that made it so special. My family and I, along with an extended family member, celebrated our anniversary here, and every single staff member went above and beyond to make it unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, the airport pickup and drop-off service was seamlessly managed, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. The buggy drivers around the resort were always prompt, cheerful, and attentive.
We were especially touched by the personalized attention to detail throughout our stay. Chamara and Chef Bandara went out of their way to understand our food preferences and customized menus, even tailoring options specifically for our kids — a thoughtful touch that made mealtimes so much easier. Nujoom and Retheesh, our waiters, served us with warmth and genuine care at every meal. A special mention to Mahavir at the bar, who continued serving us with a smile even past his closing time — that level of dedication truly stood out.
Haittey from the admin staff ensured our entire holiday ran smoothly, handling every request effortlessly. Housekeeping, especially Depa, deserves a huge thank you for beautifully decorating our room for our anniversary celebration — it made the occasion feel truly magical.
The restaurant staff, in general, were consistently attentive and friendly, and honestly, there are so many more team members who contributed to making our trip perfect that we can't name them all.
Radisson Blu Maldives isn't just a beautiful property — it's the people who make it a truly world-class experience. We left feeling like family, not just guests. Highly, highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a personalized, luxurious, and heartfelt Maldivian getaway. We can't wait to return!

Guest UserThe hotel is excellent. We stayed for four days in June and had a wonderful experience. This time, we stayed for eight days and still felt like it wasn't enough. The Chinese-speaking staff were very helpful for us. The buffet, Italian, and Thai restaurants each offer unique flavors and a great selection. Swimming and snorkeling are very convenient, and the ocean is simply captivating. We will definitely be back for a third visit.

Honestly, we had one of our best vacations ever! The Fiyavalhu Resort's personnel provided great services to us and made as feel really special. We stayed at a nice villa, which was in great condition and well equipped, it also provided us privacy and quietness. The food was nice, but not great. I would recommend to have more options for fruits and vegetables, other than that the seafood was very good. The whole resort is very well maintained and stuff is taking great care of its condition.
Do not read negative comments on internet - I can guarantee you that they are not honest and genuine. I would recommend it Fiyavalhu 100%!

The resort is beautiful, but the service was disappointing compared to other places I’ve stayed. Staff professionalism needs improvement. I booked a Half-Board Water Villa, but only breakfast and dinner were included—drinking water at dinner wasn’t complimentary. The food selection was limited and not particularly tasty.
Service felt inattentive. I had to introduce myself multiple times, yet our butler still got my name wrong. On checkout day, we even received a message that felt like we were being rushed out—quite impolite. One male staff member also made guests uncomfortable by asking for their contact details, which felt unprofessional.
Buggy service was slow. Once at the lobby, the receptionists ignored us and continued chatting even after the buggy had arrived, until the driver had to come find us himself. It was frustrating.
The underwater restaurant is photogenic, but hot and full of fish. Food was average—bring sunglasses, a hat, and lots of sunscreen.
This was my fourth luxury resort experience, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this one. Beautiful property, but poor service. Not worth the price. Needs improvement.

DaijiajunIt's a great resort. The facilities are not very luxurious, but they are very thoughtful and have everything you need. The water house also has a jacuzzi, which is very enjoyable. The scenery is great, and you can see a lot of things while snorkeling. You can usually see small sharks on the beach while walking around the resort. At this accommodation price, it is a perfect experience. There are very few Chinese people here. I saw two on the first day on the island, but none after that. They were basically European. I brought my family with me for vacation🏖️. The employees were very nice. There was a Chinese-speaking teacher on the first day on the island. My sister helped me check in, but I didn't see him for the next few days. Fortunately, I was able to play well with my loose English. In short, if the budget is limited, this resort is definitely the best choice. You can stay for a few more days. The scenery and services will not be discounted. I will go again if I have the opportunity!

This hotel is definitely the best hotel we have stayed in the local islands in the Maldives. New build, very looked after, breakfast staff and reception staff were very nice. Only thing that felt negative was that the gentleman that picked us up upon check in was asking some strange questions, and does feels a bit invasive to have a man coming into the room with you alone to show things around - we didn’t need explanation of nothing. and in regards to the AC working, that can be explained at reception, there is no need to join people in their room.
We would recommend providing guests with 2 keys as sometimes people will want to do two different things and one key won’t allow people freedom.

The administrative handling was terrible. They messed up our personal information; if we hadn't proactively checked, our departure flight wouldn't have been booked in time.
Furthermore, even after knowing our international flight arrival time early on, they waited until after the free cancellation period had passed – and even just a week before our check-in date – to inform us that there would be no transportation available to the resort upon arrival. They then demanded that we arrange our own accommodation near the airport or suggested we change our flight. On top of that, they refused any refund for the first night's stay that we couldn't use due to their staff's incompetence, and didn't even offer a basic apology.
On the day we were finally able to check in, we were left waiting at the airport for over an hour before staff picked us up to arrange our seaplane check-in. Another couple was also waiting for a long time, looking completely lost.
From booking to check-in, there were countless email communications, but in the end, it all amounted to ineffective communication. In stark contrast, when we transferred to another resort later, everything from check-in to check-out and even departure from the international airport went incredibly smoothly. The experience was the complete opposite of what we had at Lily Beach Resort.
This stay was extremely disappointing. If it weren't for the Maldivian ocean, this resort would be utterly worthless. The staff's efficiency and their arrogant attitude were utterly laughable. The buffet food quality at the resort was also quite mediocre.

It was my first time to visit Lux Maldives. Although it was an all-inclusive package, I was asked to pay an extra 500+ USD for lunch without any notice from the hotel or the housekeeper. The seaplane time we were notified before going to the island was 15:30, but when we arrived at the Lux seaplane lounge, we were notified that we could only fly at 17:00. After arriving on the island, the butler told us that the first two days were all-inclusive. We could enjoy any restaurant except Italian and Japanese restaurants for free, including bars and cafes, etc. Since we arrived on the island at more than 6 o'clock in the evening, dinner was included that night, and the next day's breakfast, lunch and dinner were all included in the all-inclusive package, and the day after that was breakfast and lunch. Since the children got up late the next day, they went swimming after breakfast, and went back to the room for a nap when they were tired of swimming. When they woke up at about three o'clock, they packed up and went to beach rouge for lunch. Because the butler would send the business hours of various restaurants for the next day the day before, we saw that beach rouge's business hours were 12:00-17:00, but when we paid the bill, we were told that we had to pay more than 500 US dollars at our own expense. I asked the butler myself and was told that lunch after 14:00 in the afternoon would be at our own expense. OK, no problem, if the hotel or butler informed us in advance when checking in, we would definitely pay attention to control the lunch time before 14:00. However, without any notice and without our room rate including lunch, and the restaurant's lunch hours clearly stated 12:00-17:00, you insisted on asking us to pay for it ourselves. Of course I couldn't agree. This is clearly your dereliction of duty. Why should I pay for it? It's too deceptive. It feels so bad 👎 The experience was very bad, and you didn't let us leave without signing the bill. Obviously, you didn't inform us during our stay, and we strictly abided by the lunch hours issued by the housekeeper. When checking in, it was also clearly stated that lunch was included in the room rate that day. I can't stand it 😓 I will defend my rights to the end! Another thing is that we experienced a storm the night before leaving the island. The room we stayed in was a romantic water pool villa, which required us to walk a long way every day. Buggy was not responsible for picking up guests from the water villa, so we had to walk or ride a bicycle by ourselves. That night, it was stormy and windy. We waited in the restaurant for a long time but it didn't get better, so we decided to go back to the room with an umbrella. On the way, my child and I were almost blown off the pier and fell into the sea, and there were no protective measures on both sides of the pier. Thinking about it afterwards, I was really scared. If I couldn't hold the umbrella and was blown into the sea by the wind, I would never come back. Because the wind and waves are huge, those who want to book a water villa must be cautious!!!

The rooms at Moofushi are not luxurious, but everything is very comfortable, the food is very good, the view, the water and the service are really good, it can be regarded as a hexagonal fighter, snorkeling is highly recommended, Alizee's dishes are great, the red and white wines provided by the all-inclusive package are very well selected 👍, a perfect holiday
