We stayed at the water villas for 7 days.
The villas:
The view is nice. The beds are comfortable. Although, They are quite old inside, probably built 10 years ago, and need some restructuring. Mainly, our bathroom had a constant bad smell. This smell goes through the shower water and stays with you afterwards.
Activities:
We tried to get on a snorkeling safari for 7 days in a row but it was constantly canceled due to either lack of enough people or unreasonably overly protective staff that was worried for some weak wind.
Same happened for the house reef, which was also closed for many days due to some weak wind.
We also wanted to rent a canoe but were not allowed to because of the wind. This is very disappointing as the weather was incredibly good, with sunshine most of the time with +30°. The resort is in general too worried about safety and we were very bored of this as a rather active couple, it felt like a golden prison.
Food:
The food is great but it’s the same every single day.
Furthermore, they charge a fortune for basic soft drinks
Transportation nightmare:
To reach out the resort you need a seaplane or domestic flight from main airport. However, the departure dates are only known the day before. For our arrival, it was a disaster: we called the resort for a week in a row to get some estimate of the dates clarifying that we cannot fly before 9 am because we cannot be physically there in the airport earlier. The staff confirmed to us to not worry and that they will get us an afternoon flight. The day before our trip to the resort, we received some automated email saying our flight is at 8am. I immediately called the resort to solve this and they assured me it’s solve and that our seaplane flight will be at 5pm. The next day we arrive at 3 pm and at the gate they told us that we missed our flight because we were booked for 10 am with a domestic flight instead of a sea plane. A total nightmare. Thankfully they managed to shift us to the 5pm flight after some escalation. Really bad way To start our holiday.
For the return seaplane flight, it was a total nightmare again. We asked many times for an estimate of the departure time from the resort, requesting a late checkout. They assured us that they will do it. For all days no reply on any estimate of the departure. On our last night, at 9pm they informed us that our flight will be at 6am the next day, with checkout at 5 am, which means waking up at 4 am to get ready. We basically were in shock for the short notice and for such an early flight. All our requests were completely ignored. Thisis unacceptable from a 5 star resort. We asked for rescheduling and they denied it initially. Finally after many discussions and after we escalated to the head manager, we were finally rebooked for a normal flight at 11 am.
General advice, this is a resort for families. The staff is very inefficient and disorganized. In general they are conflict avoidant which leads to inconveniences. They say yes to everything without actually doing it. As an advice , escalate to managers if needed, they are the only way to get a real answer

Chabanenko DiliaraI'd like to share my impressions of our stay at the Radisson Blu Resort Maldives. We stumbled upon this paradise by pure chance! During our stay at the neighboring Barcelo resort, we went snorkeling with whale sharks and saw this stunning resort along the way. We simply fell in love with it at first sight!
Despite having already purchased return tickets and some difficulties with organizing the trip (changing hotels in the Maldives and arranging transfers is a hassle), we couldn't resist. We immediately booked a villa, extended our vacation, and haven't regretted our decision for a moment!
From the very first moment, we were greeted by a wonderful Russian-speaking woman, Meru. She gave us a detailed tour of the resort, explaining and showing us everything. I want to highlight her incredible attentiveness and willingness to help with any of our needs. A huge thank you to her for the warm welcome!
Special thanks to the hotel's medical staff. My husband had a serious problem: severe sunburn on his legs, and after using fins, he severely scraped the sunburned skin. The nurse treated it very carefully, and my husband went to her every day after swimming to have the dressing changed. She demonstrated true professionalism, attentiveness, and care.
We would also like to thank the Mahabir staff member in the restaurant. During breakfast and dinner, he was incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help and advise on any issue. It was very pleasant to see such a warm welcome.
Overall, I would like to note that the entire hotel staff is very attentive and friendly.
About the resort itself:
A nice house reef with lots of beautiful fish, sharks, and rays. However, there are currents in some areas. You need to know where to swim and not swim in restricted areas.
Meals: delicious and varied.
Villas: spacious, comfortable, and very cozy. Cleaning was impeccable. We'd like to extend a special thank you to the staff member (unfortunately, I'm not sure of his name, perhaps Patel_sab), who did a wonderful job cleaning our villa. Even the charging cords were always neatly wrapped and tucked away.
Pool: Having a private pool on the terrace is a huge plus! It was very comfortable and pleasant to swim in it while admiring the sunset.
A small detail: We chose an overwater villa on the sunset side. The sunsets there are truly stunning and absolutely worth the choice! However, keep in mind that there are very strong currents in this part of the resort, making swimming directly from the villa stairs practically impossible. If swimming directly from your room is essential for you, you might want to consider villas on another part of the island.
Overall, we had an incredible stay! Thank you to the entire Radisson Blu team for the warm welcome! We really want to come back again.

First off, a big thank you to Ctrip's customer service! They really helped coordinate the seaplane times and transfers with the hotel.
The transit hotel in Malé got me to the seaplane airport right on time.
This is an excellent hotel. Great value for money, and the service is absolutely fantastic! Everyone from the front desk, buffet restaurant, and Italian restaurant staff to housekeeping and security guards provided exceptional service.
The buffet offers Chinese food, rice noodles, congee, fermented tofu, and steamed buns. The grilling station even has prawns, so it's very suitable for Chinese tastes.
The snorkeling is great, with lots of fish and even sea turtles. There are clownfish too!

Honestly, we had one of our best vacations ever! The Fiyavalhu Resort's personnel provided great services to us and made as feel really special. We stayed at a nice villa, which was in great condition and well equipped, it also provided us privacy and quietness. The food was nice, but not great. I would recommend to have more options for fruits and vegetables, other than that the seafood was very good. The whole resort is very well maintained and stuff is taking great care of its condition.
Do not read negative comments on internet - I can guarantee you that they are not honest and genuine. I would recommend it Fiyavalhu 100%!

The resort is beautiful, but the service was disappointing compared to other places I’ve stayed. Staff professionalism needs improvement. I booked a Half-Board Water Villa, but only breakfast and dinner were included—drinking water at dinner wasn’t complimentary. The food selection was limited and not particularly tasty.
Service felt inattentive. I had to introduce myself multiple times, yet our butler still got my name wrong. On checkout day, we even received a message that felt like we were being rushed out—quite impolite. One male staff member also made guests uncomfortable by asking for their contact details, which felt unprofessional.
Buggy service was slow. Once at the lobby, the receptionists ignored us and continued chatting even after the buggy had arrived, until the driver had to come find us himself. It was frustrating.
The underwater restaurant is photogenic, but hot and full of fish. Food was average—bring sunglasses, a hat, and lots of sunscreen.
This was my fourth luxury resort experience, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this one. Beautiful property, but poor service. Not worth the price. Needs improvement.

It was my first time to visit Lux Maldives. Although it was an all-inclusive package, I was asked to pay an extra 500+ USD for lunch without any notice from the hotel or the housekeeper. The seaplane time we were notified before going to the island was 15:30, but when we arrived at the Lux seaplane lounge, we were notified that we could only fly at 17:00. After arriving on the island, the butler told us that the first two days were all-inclusive. We could enjoy any restaurant except Italian and Japanese restaurants for free, including bars and cafes, etc. Since we arrived on the island at more than 6 o'clock in the evening, dinner was included that night, and the next day's breakfast, lunch and dinner were all included in the all-inclusive package, and the day after that was breakfast and lunch. Since the children got up late the next day, they went swimming after breakfast, and went back to the room for a nap when they were tired of swimming. When they woke up at about three o'clock, they packed up and went to beach rouge for lunch. Because the butler would send the business hours of various restaurants for the next day the day before, we saw that beach rouge's business hours were 12:00-17:00, but when we paid the bill, we were told that we had to pay more than 500 US dollars at our own expense. I asked the butler myself and was told that lunch after 14:00 in the afternoon would be at our own expense. OK, no problem, if the hotel or butler informed us in advance when checking in, we would definitely pay attention to control the lunch time before 14:00. However, without any notice and without our room rate including lunch, and the restaurant's lunch hours clearly stated 12:00-17:00, you insisted on asking us to pay for it ourselves. Of course I couldn't agree. This is clearly your dereliction of duty. Why should I pay for it? It's too deceptive. It feels so bad 👎 The experience was very bad, and you didn't let us leave without signing the bill. Obviously, you didn't inform us during our stay, and we strictly abided by the lunch hours issued by the housekeeper. When checking in, it was also clearly stated that lunch was included in the room rate that day. I can't stand it 😓 I will defend my rights to the end! Another thing is that we experienced a storm the night before leaving the island. The room we stayed in was a romantic water pool villa, which required us to walk a long way every day. Buggy was not responsible for picking up guests from the water villa, so we had to walk or ride a bicycle by ourselves. That night, it was stormy and windy. We waited in the restaurant for a long time but it didn't get better, so we decided to go back to the room with an umbrella. On the way, my child and I were almost blown off the pier and fell into the sea, and there were no protective measures on both sides of the pier. Thinking about it afterwards, I was really scared. If I couldn't hold the umbrella and was blown into the sea by the wind, I would never come back. Because the wind and waves are huge, those who want to book a water villa must be cautious!!!

The rooms at Moofushi are not luxurious, but everything is very comfortable, the food is very good, the view, the water and the service are really good, it can be regarded as a hexagonal fighter, snorkeling is highly recommended, Alizee's dishes are great, the red and white wines provided by the all-inclusive package are very well selected 👍, a perfect holiday

Very good. My daughter and I both think this is the best hotel on this trip. The price-performance ratio is also very high. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The only downside is that there is a waiter in the restaurant who has been courteous and does not want tips, but asks us to buy him a hookah. After we refused, he went to buy it himself and signed our room. When we checked out, we found this matter and communicated with the hotel. The hotel will refund the money to us.

It is a perfect resort hotel, the hotel is very new, the design concept is also very new, and all the facilities are very advanced. The food is also delicious with a good variety.
I live in the water house in room 220, and their water house has a jacuzzi. I feel that the jacuzzi is more practical than the swimming pool. After swimming in the sea, you can take a hot bath directly, perfect!
The included teppanyaki was unexpectedly good, in the form of interactive performances. The chef from the Philippines is skilled, serving about 6.7 guests at a table, and everyone is very happy...
The relative disadvantage is that the Chinese service on the island is still a little less compared to the proportion of domestic guests. After all, it is a bit painful to use your own plastic English to deal with curry English every day... You can consider adding some Chinese menus or something.
Generally speaking, it is a super nice hotel. My daughter almost cried when she left, and specially asked me to give them a 6-star review^_^
