I loved my stay at the Scenic Mountain Ecolodge. Yen and Vin were lovely hosts and made sure I was super comfortable. I divided my stay between the luxury room and the deluxe room. Honestly the deluxe room is better since it has more natural light and is very spacious. Overall it’s a great place to stay and is very close to Hang Mua.

The hotel is surrounded by excellent dining options, offering authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The property itself boasts top-notch amenities, including a beautiful pool, a luxurious spa, and well-appointed rooms that blend modern comforts. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or adventure, Emeralda Hotel offers an exceptional experience in the heart of Vietnam’s natural beauty.
Although there are no restaurants nearby to eat in the B&B, and you need to take a ride to a far distance, the B&B is kept very clean, the breakfast is rich, and the stay is very comfortable. I will stay here again next time
A wonderful hotel for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and recharge. The hotel is located away from the center of Tam Coc, but just a 15-minute walk from a street with inexpensive cafes. The hotel is at the foot of a picturesque cliff and a pond with ducks and herons. The location is quiet, peaceful, authentic, and beautiful. The rooms are separate bamboo bungalows, clean and spacious, with all the amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. After checkout, we stayed here for a long time, relaxing by the pool while waiting for our evening bus.
This hotel is amazing! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and I had no problem getting a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was varied and delicious. The location is also convenient for traveling and shopping. It's a great value for money and I'll definitely stay again. Highly recommended!
We stayed for two nights. The hotel is quite far out of the town so a taxi is needed to get to any restaurants or shops. The pool was great, clean and a great view. We tried to book a trip to the Tam Coc caves but the staff on reception could only provide a 7 seat car which wasn’t suitable for 2 people and was very expensive. A nice hotel, just a shame about the location and tours available from the hotel.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel got it right. A warm welcome, fast check-in, and staff who actually help with your bags — a rare combo these days. To top it off, we got a free upgrade! Our room came with a bathtub, a nice exterior view, and a little extra space — always a win in my book.
After long days of tours and wandering around, the peaceful nights were a blessing. And that rooftop pool? A quiet little oasis — perfect for cooling off, pretending you’re in a luxury resort, and questioning every life decision that led you to deserve such comfort. Overall, the stay was a delight.
The only small downside would be its location, which is a bit away from the city center — but nothing a quick Grab ride can’t fix. They also rent motorbikes (we just wish they’d mentioned it earlier 😂).
We left with smiles and even a small farewell gift — classy touch. I’d absolutely come back, ideally on purpose next time.
This hotel is quietly located just outside the city center. Bicycles are available for 50,000 VND per day. Our room with a bathtub on the terrace had a great view. The mattress and shower were good. Breakfast was varied.
However, the walls are very thin, so you can hear people talking and showering in the adjacent rooms.
The hotel has a great location. The boat dock is a 10-minute bike ride away. Bikes are free, but the seat is quite narrow, and riding all day can be tough on your bottom.
The breakfast is fairly basic, but there's everything you need to know, and you definitely won't go hungry. There's a good cafe across the street from the hotel.

GGuest UserBest hotel we stayed in Vietnam. Gorgeous room, amazingly helpful staff and a view that rivals none. Could not have asked for more. Thank you for making our stay in Tam Coc memorable!!
GGeraldine MaggiThis place has potential. The facilities are good, with plenty of space for socializing or working. The internet works well. The breakfast is great, and they offer water upon arrival and departure.
They initially put me in the wrong room – I requested a female-only dorm but was assigned to a mixed one. However, I showed them the photos at the front desk, and they gave me the correct room.
The female dorm had two bathrooms and was comfortable. One thing to improve is the lack of lockers, bedside lights, and power outlets near the beds. There are several outlets in the room, so maybe if you're on a lower bunk, your cable might reach.
The staff is very friendly, although communication was sometimes a bit difficult. They are very willing to help and will use a translator if needed.
KKevin BooFantastic resort that is nearby the Van Long nature reserve.. you can rent bicycles and cycle there to take boat rides, then ride further along a scenic route to ruong cafe, where you can have coffee and tea in a beautiful rice padi field.
Tip: don't take the rental bikes with racer bike style seats unless you like pain and discomfort
Highly recommended for families. Spa and restaurant is very good.

MMylien CaohuuThe staff were very courteous and went our of their way to tell us about the highlights of Ninh Binh (places of interest and food). The room were very spacious and clean although it felt a bit warm as we couldn’t turn down the thermostat.
Breakfast was excellent, there were many choices although we couldn’t eat much.
GGuest UserThis was one of our best stays in Vietnam. It is in a great location for the An Trang boat trip (which I highly recommend!)
Breakfast options are great, bike rental is easy and very affordable and the staff overall are excellent. We were offered a map on check in that had all the nearest attractions, including entry prices so planning our time here was super easy. Thank you for having us, we had the best time :-)
GGuest UserWe thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the hotel. Our room was exceptionally spacious and comfortable, providing a wonderful retreat.
Each morning, we had the pleasure of dining on the delicious breakfast served by the pool. The varied selection, which included both local and Vietnamese specialties, was the perfect way to start our days.
The service throughout the hotel was truly excellent. The staff kindly provided us with a local map and offered valuable suggestions for activities, including a boat trip, bird watching, and exploring the Old Town. We particularly appreciated their insightful advice on the best times to visit various venues to avoid crowds and maximize our experiences, such as for optimal bird watching.
A highlight was renting a motorbike from the hotel to explore. On one occasion, we found ourselves a little lost, but a quick message via WhatsApp to the hotel resulted in immediate and patient assistance to guide us back on track.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, made memorable by the thoughtful service and excellent amenities. We would not hesitate to return.
GGuest UserThis hotel was a real mixed bag!
Some of the staff were exceptional whilst others definitely required more training; our balcony was left unlocked twice by the cleaning staff. Some of the drinks made in the bar were very poor and undrinkable. Reception staff were generally extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
The bar and pool area were grubby and there are definitely nicer choices in the area.
The decor in the rooms and reception was very nice, but it was really let down by the pool and bar. There was also only 3 (conjoined) sun loungers by the pool for the whole hotel.
Bikes were free and accessible which was great, but the location wasn’t great and there was nowhere nice to eat or drink in the vicinity.

GGuest UserThe owner is very kind and actively responds to guest inquiries. The accommodation is clean and spacious, and it's within walking distance to Hang Múa and Tràng An boat tours. What really stands out are the simple yet delicious breakfast and the affordable price for a place with a swimming pool. Anyone would agree it offers excellent value for money, is very pleasant, and the view from the second floor is beautiful.
