Because it was listed as the only 5-star hotel in Kazbek on Ctrip, I booked it.
After checking in, it felt more like a self-built motel.
Environment: A single building with a small gravel path and an open area in front of the balcony, also covered in gravel and weeds. The hotel is new, and there's a noticeable renovation smell.
Cleanliness: Given its newness, it's quite good.
Facilities: The room and bathroom are both decent-sized, about 20 square meters overall, but the sink is cramped and won't fit a woman's makeup bag. The balcony is also narrow.
View: Seeing many reviews comparing it to Rooms, I think the view of Mount Kazbek is quite different; it's noticeably smaller, and there's a barrier in front.
Service: The owner was quite welcoming, but the breakfast was limited and simple, and the taste was average. I can only say that I had something non-salty at lunch.
