"The Osaka Ebisu Hotel is a diamond in the rough right smack in the middle of eateries, and souvenir shops. Besides the blood stain on our bed sheet, I would highly recommend that both early check in price and late check out prices are advertised. Usually most hotels would give an extra hour, they did not. So FYI its 2000 YEN per person for an early check in if your rooms available and for a late check out of up to an hour it is 2000 YEN. Gentlemen downstairs with really slow English stuttered at first saying 1000 YEN, but quickly corrected himself to state 2000 YEN. Overall experience was great for a laat minute booking - shower is majestic."

"I chose this ryokan based on a few criteria: 1) I wanted a traditional ryokan, not a Western-style hotel; 2) it needed to be close to the station and Dotonbori for both shopping and nightlife; and 3) it had to be reasonably priced. Reasonable prices are generally hard to come by in Osaka, but this ryokan definitely won out in that category. I didn't opt for breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The room key is old-fashioned and heavy, and you have to hand it in every time you leave. A nice touch was the rice tea instead of standard tea bags. Overall, I was very satisfied."

"This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Osaka! First off, the location is excellent, right next to Shin-Osaka Station, about a 5-minute walk. This station is incredibly convenient, with the Midosuji Line subway, and a starting train every 10 minutes, so you don't have to worry about not getting a seat. Shinkansen and local lines are also very accessible. Secondly, the hotel seems to be newly built, and both the exterior and interior decor are very upscale. There's a large public bath on the 4th floor, a Lawson convenience store downstairs, and a Sukiya and a pharmacy nearby. The amenities are very comprehensive! This time, we chose the Royal Premiere Room. I read reviews mentioning a washing machine, and to my surprise, there really was one! They even provide a packet of laundry detergent every day, which was a huge help. The room was also quite spacious, with two 1.6m large beds, and a fantastic view. Since it was very hot in Osaka during our stay, the hotel thoughtfully provided fans, and the staff were quite friendly! We didn't hear any noise during our stay, so the soundproofing is pretty good. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!"

"My stay here was great! The front desk even upgraded my room, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was more spacious than I expected and very clean. What I liked most was the view from the window; it was fantastic, and opening the curtains in the morning really brightened my day. The hotel staff were all very courteous, and check-in was a breeze. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and I'd likely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area."

"I traveled with my granddaughter and stayed here for 10 nights. The hotel is conveniently located for shopping, with three convenience stores right outside and AEON Supermarket nearby. Yu-itsu Supermarket is just another 100 meters down the road. It's also very close to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, making it super convenient for shopping and sightseeing. Kuromon Market is also within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and quiet, and they offer breakfast. You can purchase a meal ticket for 2000 JPY, and choose whether or not to dine. Overall, this is a great hotel!"

"I love everything in this hotel. It have free bicycle. Close with station overall 10/10 gonna come to Osaka again. And book the same HOTEL. it affordable with private bathroom! I love the shampoo, conditioner i love my pijamas I LOVE EVERYTHING! AARRGHH"
