I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally wonderful experience. Here is a breakdown of my stay:
📍 Unbeatable Location
The biggest highlight is definitely the location. It is within easy walking distance to Dotonbori and Namba, making it perfect for foodies and shoppers. Being close to several subway stations meant I could reach almost any part of Osaka, including the Umeda district and Osaka Castle, quickly and conveniently.
🛎️ Service & Amenities
Check-in/out: The process is automated and very efficient. However, when the machines had a minor hiccup, the staff were immediately available to help. The team is incredibly polite and professional.
Convenience: I loved the vending machines (drinks and vacuum bags!) located right in the hotel.
Toiletries: There is a ”grab-and-go” station on the first floor where you can pick up extra shampoo, gels, and toothbrushes as needed.
⚠️ Areas for Improvement
While I enjoyed my stay, there were some minor issues with cleanliness:
I noticed some dust buildup in the common area light fixtures.
In the room, there was visible dust on the ventilation grilles and tables, even after the cleaning service.
Verdict
Despite the minor dust issues, the convenience, location, and friendly service make this a great choice for anyone visiting Osaka.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and convenience. One of its biggest strengths is the location—it’s situated in a very accessible area, close to key attractions, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to get around.
The cleanliness of the hotel was truly impressive. The housekeeping team clearly puts in great effort to ensure a pleasant environment for guests.
I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, especially the availability of free coffee and drinking water. It’s a small touch, but it really adds to the overall experience and makes guests feel welcomed and cared for.
Another highlight was the seasonal decorations throughout the hotel. The festive decorations created a warm and inviting atmosphere, showing that the hotel pays attention to detail and strives to make each stay special.

The room was quite a bit larger than ones in Tokyo, and the facilities were newer too. However, the lack of a separate shower stall is a definite drawback. The hotel isn't far from Shinsaibashi, and there's an airport bus stop nearby.

Completely exceeded my expectations! The lobby decor is grand yet cozy 🏡, and the bellhop was super enthusiastic about helping with luggage 🧳. The room's soundproofing was so good I couldn't hear any noise 🤫, and waking up to the morning sun was incredibly refreshing 🌞. Checkout was super fast, no long waits ⌛. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love Laolong! The location is super convenient, and the environment is fantastic! It's really comfortable for a solo traveler. They provide several pillows, and the bed's firmness is just right. Every time I visit Osaka, I stay here, and it feels just like coming home; I sleep soundly every night! The view from the window is also beautiful—my favorite Umeda! While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's decent enough.

Fluent English communication. Clean. Just a 5-minute walk from the metro station, the location is very convenient! The hotel has a restaurant, and there's a supermarket nearby, so shopping and dining are both very easy. Service: Room cleaning every day.

First time in a love hotel, and let’s just say expectations were weirdly exceeded. The room? Actually huge—bigger than anywhere else I stayed during my Japan trip. Came complete with an obnoxiously large TV, a projector for impromptu movie marathons, karaoke setup (in case you suddenly discover your inner pop idol), and a massage chair that felt suspiciously life-changing. Oh, and obviously, a jacuzzi because normal bathtubs are for peasants.
They also went hilariously overboard with amenities: coffee, tea, a small pharmacy of cosmetics, and a vending machine dispensing essentials like lingerie or contact lens solution (because clearly, these two things belong together). Yes, I genuinely bought some solution; the machine knew my struggles.
Overall, weirdly awesome experience. Would do it again!

Completely exceeded my expectations! I personally think the location is great too, especially for this price – you wouldn't find such a well-located place in China for the same money. The hygiene was also good. The first-floor common area is very spacious and free-flowing. The front desk is on the 18th floor, and next to it, they even have facial cleanser, toner, and lotion available, which was incredibly thoughtful. There's also a coffee machine. Is the exchange rate really that good that the price is so fantastic? Anyway, I'm genuinely quite satisfied. The room has a washing machine and a microwave. Whether or not you use the washing machine is up to personal preference, but the microwave is incredibly convenient. There's a Lawson convenience store not far away, so you can buy food and heat it up – excellent!
The hotel is located near Shinsaibashisuji. It's just a few minutes walk from Shinsaibashi metro station. A very convenient location. The buffet breakfast is delicious. The hotel provide free alcoholic drinks, including beers, sake, whiskey, etc., starting from 3pm daily. In addition, free ramen is provided every night from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. Excellent!

My stay at Dormy Inn PREMIUM Namba was truly excellent overall!
The service, location, and facilities were all undoubtedly great.
First, the location is incredibly convenient, about a 10-minute walk to Shinsaibashi, making it perfect for shopping and dining. The hotel staff were also very accommodating and polite, which made me feel very comfortable.
I particularly enjoyed the onsen facilities; it was so relaxing to soak in the hot spring after a day of shopping. Plus, the complimentary Yonaki ramen and ice cream every evening were something I looked forward to every day – it felt like a real treat.
The only minor downside was a bit of dust in the room. It would have been even better if daily cleaning service was provided. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Osaka.

KKeito_NyakaThis is a wonderful hotel in the center of Osaka, conveniently located right next to the subway. The self check-in process was smooth, and the lobby offers essential items like pajamas, soap, and more. You can also store your luggage there independently. The room was excellent and comfortable. The separate bath and toilet were a nice touch, and the convenient mirror and sink, also separate from the bath and toilet, made getting ready in the morning much easier. The room was quiet; occasionally, we could hear staff starting to clean rooms in the morning, but it never woke us up. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and linens. The hotel breakfasts were frozen but perfectly edible. We approached the staff a couple of times, and they resolved everything immediately. I highly recommend this hotel!
YYueyexiaomiThe room rate is high, and the facilities are of an old-fashioned style, but overall it is good, and everything is available.
Comes with breakfast and light meals (can be considered dinner or midnight snack, and comes with a free drink with alcohol)
Breakfast and dinner are ordered through the TV, and then the staff will deliver them to the room. You can refer to the pictures for what you ate these days.
We stayed for three days, and no waiter took the initiative to clean, change towels, or replenish supplies. I went to the service desk on the first floor to report that it needed to be cleaned, and an aunt on the first floor replied that it had not been cleaned. Well, but my colleague and I have booked it. She said that we can leave the key at the front desk and tell the time to come back, and there will be cleaning.
The tableware will not be collected after eating, nor will it be told how to deal with it.
In short, this service model and attitude vary from person to person, and the feeling is very bad. This is the worst service hotel I have stayed in Japan. If you don't want to receive Chinese people, don't sell to China, thank you.
