Romantic Hotels in Sabah, Malaysia

Our small family decided to have a staycation in few hotel/resort and by far Sutera has won our heart. This place is amazing and i suggest anybody who wants to experience this place to stay more than 1Night. The room is still in its Vintage style , tv only has those old channel , there's one bathtub in the room which we loved specially my son,for the breakfast i do believe they can add more choices as they are more korean dishes focused, it'll be nice to have local kuih (hinompuka/pais pisang) other than kuih pisang only.. But other than that, you actually get free 1hour of bike rental on ur stay which we only know when we ask around, it was located right in front of the kids pool , other than that they do have a small train going around from Magellan to Pacific sutera and its FOC!!! I loved the staff energy the entire time, he asked our son to be in his seat as a driver and even let my son press few button and act like he's driving the train!! god bless your fun soul sir!! keep up the good work!! we will definitely be back again soon🥰❣️

My stay at Tune Hotel was a pleasant and comfortable experience. The hotel offers affordable accommodation without compromising on cleanliness and convenience. The room was compact but very clean, modern, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making it easy to rest after a long day of travel. The bathroom was small but spotless, with strong water pressure and hot water available at all times. I appreciated the minimalist design, which gave the room a cozy and organized feel. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help with any requests. One of the best things about Tune Hotel is its strategic location. It is usually close to shopping malls, restaurants, and public transport, making it very convenient for travelers. Although the rooms are simple, they provide everything needed for a short and comfortable stay. Overall, Tune Hotel is an excellent choice for budget travelers who value cleanliness, comfort, and location. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

The location is fantastic, very close to Jesselton Point,銘刻旅行社 (Mingke Travel Agency), Gaya Street, and Suria Sabah shopping mall. It's super convenient for shopping and island hopping. The hotel itself is quite new, with a stylish design and layout, attracting a lot of younger guests. Breakfast is excellent – plentiful, exquisite, and high-quality. You can even enjoy it on the outdoor terrace with direct sea views, which is a real bonus. The pool isn't huge; it's a long, narrow shape, but you still get to enjoy the sea view from there. My only minor complaints are that they don't provide complimentary bottled water that you can take out (only glass bottles for in-room use), and the lobby on the first floor is a bit small.

Booked for Sea View Room.. got the same level as the lobby .. prefer higher level for best view. Request for late check out and allowed till 1 o’clock only without additional payment. Appreciate that. Overall, best experience and will consider to come again for my next vacation.

It was great to stay at the promenade apartment on the centre of api api centre. Nearby restaurant laundry and groceries very convenient. The deluxe twin just nice for couples short trip after tired climbing. The price reasonable and most important the environment not so busy.

Hotel location is superb. Walking distance to Waterfront. Room is clean & comfortable although a bit small. The bed is superbly comfortable The sunset Seaview is breathtaking. The only downside is the water pressure is too low. Can’t enjoy taking a shower after a long hot day.

The island trip was truly unforgettable, the service was excellent, the staff were warm and welcoming, breakfast was a great experience thanks to the staff Anizah, who were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist, the room was comfortable, every moment was filled with memories that will be cherished for a long time. And thank you to Arthur for always being helpful. Will come back again.

The hotel is situated on a hill at the edge of KK city, offering a peaceful setting surrounded by greenery that creates a relaxing, nature connected atmosphere. I had a pleasant stay, with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel also features a gym and swimming pool. The swimming pool were not available for use during my stay. Breakfast was average, but the selection was sufficient to start the day. Overall, I had a good experience. However, the only downside was the poor soundproofing as the noise from the adjacent room through the connecting door was quite noticeable.

An absolutely fantastic resort!! Most visitors opt for hotels in Semporna town for convenience, but this resort, despite being about 4 km from town, completely eliminates any transportation worries. They offer a frequent shuttle service, and when we first arrived, unaware of the shuttle, the front desk promptly arranged a driver to take us. Almost all hotels in Semporna lack a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, but this resort's design is so clever that in my opinion, it functions just as effectively. The absolute standout feature, though, is the service – it's truly exceptional. Both the owner and front desk staff speak Chinese. The owner is incredibly warm and friendly, treating every guest like a personal friend, and even invited us for drinks. Good food options in Semporna town are scarce, so we happily returned to the resort every day for meals. The food here is incredibly delicious; every single dish we tried was fantastic – tasty, affordable, and with generous portions. We only tried the hotel breakfast on our last day and immediately regretted not having it sooner. The variety was extensive, and everything was absolutely delicious! 😭 Every evening, guests could gather to request songs and sing together, eating and having fun. It's truly a cozy and welcoming resort!

This is a very old hotel currently undergoing renovations, which wasn't indicated on Trip.com. This was quite disappointing, especially considering how expensive it was. The hotel likely has 500-600 rooms, and the soundproofing is very poor; you can hear people walking upstairs or in the hallway on the same floor. It's suitable for families, and a 2-night stay is probably enough. The hotel service is five-star. Breakfast, however, was unappetizing and lacked character, and the dining area was very crowded. The adult pool isn't large, but the kids' pool has many fun features for children. The hotel's island hopping and water activities are extremely well-designed and prioritize safety, meeting five-star standards.
