Sea View Hotels in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

First impression of the hotel - IG fanatics would love this hotel because of the decoration. It's decorated with various styles of chairs everywhere, fun and colorful, creating a happy atmosphere. Love the stay here though it's just a one night stay before the flight to Bali. Check-in and check-out very smooth. Very friendly and efficient front desk staffs. Since I arrived before noon, hotel gave me an early check-in, also quickly react to a little problem in my room. They can help you to order Grab car in case you don't have the app. Hotel is not that far from the Kupang airport. Lots of good restaurants, convenient stores and beach within walking distance. It's definitely worth to pay a little bit more for a seaview room - the seaview and sunset is stunning!!! Even the elevator is made with glass so you can enjoy the seaview while going up and down. Breakfast is buffet and mainly Indonesian style, taste is fine. Shower water pressure is good. The only flaw I can find is restaurant service was pretty slow and not that attentive. I was the only guest at the restaurant during dinner, maybe they were busy with the takeaway/ room service, so been waiting for a long time for food. Luckily, taste of the chicken was delicious. It's a shame the hotel doesn't have swimming pool so you can only go to the beach right in front of the hotel. Anyway, I will surely book Swiss Belcourt Kupang again and highly recommend to all travellers visiting Kupang.

Very nice place, bit outside od the city. You can relax on the private beach, which is very nice and clean or on one of Three swimming pools. The staff in the hotel was very friendly, helpful and polite. They tried to manage all requests we’d had. The hotel seems to be a bit outdated, but I observed they’ve started to renovate partially, eg. the beachfront villas have new sleeping rooms, but the bathroom still waits for it, hopefully soon. Breakfast and hotel restaurant is also ok.

Good location that is walkable to the main street but not noisy. Friendly and helpful staffs.

New Hotel, nice view and decor. Check out their new restaurant at level 8, the kliff. I think the Kliff signature pizza is not bad. The restaurant at level 2 serve nice local food Staff are very friendly and responsive. They help to prepare breakfast box as we inform them we are going for early tour. They have many free water activities like paddle boat, water bicycle, kayak. There is also yoga and boxing class u can book during ya stay here. A 5min walk to Ayana if you want to check out Ayana. But I think Katamaran is much more nicer in term of the facade. Their staff is much more helpful and cheerful as well. If you want to go to the city, either get the hotel staff to arrange a taxi about 100k IDR or simply do a gojek bike at 15.5k IDR. Heard they have a new boat - black swan going to be operational from next month onward. Perhap they will have their own island trip, you all could lookout for that A very enjoyable stay here. The hotel is comfortable, clean, friendly service, good breakfast, but there are still problems with rooms such as a blocked sink, the toilet is on the 3rd floor new but it is disgusting yellow like never brushed. This hotel needs vixal/porstek/harpic and something Because it's a pity that the interior of the hotel is good but not taken care of

Overall this hotel was great!! The view is superb!! Also friendly staff and the food for ( breakfast ) is good all perfect seasoning. We scared that mostly review said that they play music until late night but now after 9pm all quiet. Overall is a great night and also the giving us chocolate cake for our first honeymoon.❤️

This hotel is best in the Main Street, not far from pier and right next to the night market. I love their lobby is very chill and facing the sea. Seaview room is nice but just bear in mind there will be some noises from boat coming back late in the night. They have a spa/massage. Kids club and gym is small and I did not use them. The local tour is organised by East Cruise, surprisingly good price compared to what you can find on the street, i,e, for reference, Red Whale asked for 1.5 million to Komodo and they asked for 1.35 million, and East Cruise has a better speedboat with Sundeck. Did not try this time as the travel desk closed at 5. Overall recommend this if you want a little more comfort over the budget choices on the Main Street.

It was really fun staying at On the Rock Hotel, the breakfast menu is starting to be as good as it was when it first opened. In the future, the variety of breakfast menu choices needs to be improved so that it can become a 4 star hotel, the pool is really good, music needs to be added so that the atmosphere is like in Bali in the morning and afternoon the day when people were swimming... the room was comfortable only the shower needed to be repaired in room 207. over all good n best

Its probably the most convenient hotel to get to get around this area. Room was ok for the price range. BUT, I have had the WORST time in this hotel. My room was on the second floor, right above the club just one floor down. I normally can endure a bit a noise , but this is at a whole new level because my bed was literary vibrating with the bass of the speakers below. And i though since it was impossible to sleep so i went to the club below and maybe have a drink, but when i went it, there were only 1 customer in there 🤣 . Really whats the point hahaha. Anyways i went back to the room and waited until 3am until the music stops and finally i could try and sleep...for 2 hours because need to check out and head to the port to board the boat. So thank you dejavu2.0 for the sleepless night.

My family and I had a vacation in Kupang and we were very happy to stay at a star hotel in Kupang City. The service was very satisfying, especially the food was very delicious. The hotel is complete with a swimming pool facility that is safe for my children. The Kristal Kupang hotel is really cool.
