The room itself was spacious with a great view, and being south-facing, it got lovely sunlight in the afternoon, perfect for relaxing. Inside, it was spotlessly clean with comfortable bedding and good soundproofing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of both Western and Chinese options, and hot dishes were replenished promptly. Overall, the service, facilities, and dining were all top-notch and great value for money. I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

They provided a complete set of disposable toiletries for our baby, and housekeeping was very responsive even during the Chinese New Year. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the food was quite good. Overall, the hygiene was decent. One small suggestion: please make sure the vegetables at breakfast are thoroughly washed; we found a small insect.

The exquisite afternoon tea at the 'Le Bar' was both beautiful and delicious, offering a leisurely and delightful experience. And the SPA provided professional treatments that were truly effective in relieving fatigue. This stay completely exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

I chose White Swan over the Ritz-Carlton because I really wanted to try their restaurant, Yutang Chunnuan. I booked a river-view room, and the view was absolutely stunning. My only slight disappointment was that it was my birthday, and I was hoping for a room upgrade, but instead, I received a box of chocolates and a greeting card. The cleaning staff were very friendly, greeting me warmly every morning and even reminding me to refresh my key card at the front desk for my extended stay. Turndown service was also very prompt. The downside was that a light under the bedside table couldn't be turned off, and I had to sleep with it on all night. When I reported it to staff the next day, they couldn't fix it, so I resorted to the primitive method of unplugging it. Another letdown for a five-star hotel was the shampoo – it was a no-name brand and felt very watered down. The charging outlets were also oddly placed inside a drawer. Despite these minor issues, overall, it was a very good stay.

The room was new and very clean, and it's pet-friendly. The front desk lady at night was also super nice and patient. The shuttle driver was very enthusiastic and helped me with my luggage. The shuttle car was big, so there was plenty of space for all my bags.

This Wednesday, I brought my parents to Zhaoqing, and a friend recommended we stay at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, located by Qixingyan Lake. The moment we stepped into the hotel, we were impressed by the opulent lobby. The hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a lake-view room, and we were even more delighted once we entered – the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unobstructed panoramic view of the beautiful Qixingyan scenery. The room was spacious and equipped with all modern amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel boasts over 20 hot spring pools, and soaking in them was incredibly relaxing. There's even a small hot spring pool on the room's balcony. The hotel service was exceptional, with staff member Tina enthusiastically assisting us from before check-in to after. It was a truly satisfying stay, and my parents thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Zhaoqing. I do have a small suggestion: My father has difficulty walking and uses a wheelchair. While the hotel lobby is grand, it's quite challenging for elderly guests to find a place to sit and rest. We only spotted a few chairs in a distant corner, which my father couldn't reach. It would be great if the hotel could place a few sofas or chairs near the lobby's front desk for elderly guests to sit and rest while waiting. This would make the experience more user-friendly and improve overall guest satisfaction. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

The best riverside hotel in Guangzhou, I always stay at Sofitel whenever I'm in the city. The rooms are amazing, primarily decorated in red. I highly recommend choosing a river view room as you can see the Canton Tower, and the night view is spectacular. The breakfast selection is also incredibly diverse, with a full range of Cantonese dim sum available.

The room was quite spacious, with an extra-large bed that I'd estimate is over two meters wide. It offered a runway view, and the windows had double-layer soundproofing, plus an additional glass door, so you could barely hear the take-off noise from the bed – quite impressive! The location is still very convenient. During the day, you can enter directly through gate 18, but at night, you have to use gate 16 and take the parking lot elevator up. The hotel is a bit further to walk within the complex compared to the other two Hyatt hotels on the other side, but its grand decor definitely outshines them. Another convenient point is that this hotel has direct access to an external road for taxis, which isn't possible for the other two Hyatts where you can only access them from within the ground transportation center. The hotel pool is a decent size, though it's a bit shallow, ranging from 1.2 meters to 0.8 meters deep. There's also a heated jacuzzi. Overall, the experience was quite good and met Hyatt's standards.

The only downside was breakfast. Many tables weren't set with cutlery. Guests would get their food and then have to wait for chopsticks, spoons, and forks – I've never encountered this before. This issue continued throughout the meal. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to this crucial detail, especially when it's busy and turning over tables for breakfast.

I must say, this hotel might be acceptable for a quick business trip, but it definitely doesn't meet the standards for a family vacation. Given the price of the family room, where was the expected level of service? On a positive note, a manager did follow up after my stay regarding my feedback and offered a complimentary upgrade to a standard room on a future visit, which is indeed a good way to regain customer trust. However, after that phone call, they were supposed to add me on WeChat but I never heard from them again. That's ridiculous! Were they intentionally trying to annoy me? Honestly, this experience leaves me no choice but to give a bad review and completely lose faith in the Marriott brand.
