I had a power outage at home, so I booked a last-minute stay at the nearest Sheraton for a night. The staff were very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean, and the ambiance was first-class. The room was quite spacious and featured a balcony overlooking the lake, which made for a very comfortable feeling. Breakfast was decent; my favorite item was the 'zhuchanglu'. There was a good variety of breakfast options, but the coffee was undrinkable, and the hot milk wasn't rich enough. Some minor issues that could be improved were: 1. The room had two bottles of shower gel but no shampoo; I assume there was a mix-up. 2. The in-room tea bags looked quite cheap and didn't feel premium. 3. For the complimentary Southeast Asian set lunch, we sat in the restaurant for 5 minutes without any staff attending to us, and the food itself was just average.

Exceeded all expectations. When I booked, I didn't anticipate such thoughtful service. They provided a complete set of disposable toiletries for our baby, and housekeeping was very responsive even during the Chinese New Year. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the food was quite good. Overall, the hygiene was decent. One small suggestion: please make sure the vegetables at breakfast are thoroughly washed; we found a small insect.

This was the first hotel I stayed at after arriving in Guangzhou, out of seven hotels in the Greater Bay Area. And it was the only one that was 'strict' about not offering free breakfast for children, requiring an extra 100 yuan. When traveling during the New Year, everyone just wants to have a good time. They even told me that once breakfast is purchased, it's non-refundable and non-exchangeable. This whole policy felt really cheap and definitely didn't make for a good experience. The room facilities were decent, but the partition door between the bathroom and the room wasn't very suitable; it wouldn't close properly. Breakfast until 11 AM is quite accommodating, but after 10:30 AM, they practically stopped restocking. Given how busy it was during the New Year, I guess that's somewhat understandable...

For our trip to Guangzhou, we initially booked a deluxe city view room for two nights. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it for another night, this time in a deluxe river view room. Both rooms offered incredibly comfortable furnishings and stunning views. The hotel's lobby view, facilities maintenance, and cleanliness were all exceptional, which is truly remarkable for a 40-year-old establishment. The staff service was also top-notch. When we switched rooms after two days, the front desk arranged for it to be completed by 10 AM, allowing us ample time to go out and explore without worry. Furthermore, whenever we returned to our room late after dinner, we noticed that a meticulous turndown service had been performed, which deeply touched us and made us feel very comfortable – it truly felt like a heartfelt 'goodnight' blessing 😌. We also tried both the breakfast buffet and the pre-booked dim sum for breakfast, which is already quite well-known among foodies in Guangzhou. Even old taxi drivers in Guangzhou recommend it, saying it’s definitely not pre-made 👍.

Conveniently located near the airport with a complimentary shuttle service. Their WeChat responses were prompt, and I really appreciate the staff's service. There are plenty of food and drink options nearby, which is a plus. I do hope the hotel can improve its facilities, especially the exposed components on the ceiling where the air conditioning unit is located. Also, the grout lines on the bathroom floor seem poorly done, likely from the initial construction.

Wyndham Zhaoqing was a delightful surprise for a family trip! I was so impressed by Lisa, the Russian front desk staff, and her amazing Chinese! This was our second time bringing the kids to Wyndham Zhaoqing, and Lisa's service at the front desk truly blew us away! 👱‍♀️ When we checked in, we realized she was a Russian beauty who spoke incredibly good Chinese – absolutely no communication barrier. Seeing that we had two children, she proactively helped us get a complimentary room upgrade. This kind of unexpected pleasant surprise really earns major bonus points! 👍 The hotel itself is also top-notch for families with kids: Hot Springs + Water Park: The kids went wild in the water fortress and pools; we couldn't drag them away. Unbeatable Views: Our room faced Seven Star Crags directly. Lying in bed, enjoying the lake and mountain scenery, truly felt like a perfect getaway. Foodie Paradise: We had all our meals at the hotel – the buffet was fantastic! Next time we're in Zhaoqing, this will definitely be our first choice. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Considering it was Chinese New Year, the overall price wasn't too expensive, and the suite's price was comparable to a standard room, but the experience was significantly better. The decor style is quite unique; some might love it, while others might not be as keen. The executive lounge was great, and the food was quite tasty.

The hotel was clean and the service was very pleasant. The facilities were good with some minor repairs required as the bath stopper needs to be pulled out. It would be great if there was soap in the bathroom by the swimming pool. The dinner was perfect with great variety and the breakfast good as well. The children's play areas in the restaurant and the clubhouse are really fantastic.

The room was great, and the soundproofing was excellent, which made me feel very secure during my business trip. The hygiene was also top-notch. The gym had a lot of equipment and was practically empty, so I had it all to myself. The swimming pool felt very safe with two lifeguards on duty. The service was also fantastic; Vicky was especially attentive. Hilton truly lives up to its reputation as a classic brand, far superior to many other flashy star-rated hotels. I'll definitely choose them again for my next business trip.

The front desk staff, both the lady and the gentleman, had an amazing attitude! When checking in, they not only explained the breakfast and Wi-Fi details but also thoughtfully asked about my room type preference, which made me feel very welcome. Upon entering the room, my first impression was how clean and tidy it was. The bed sheets and duvet covers were odorless, and there were no water stains in the bathroom, making me feel very comfortable staying there. I called to ask for two bottles of water and towels, and the attendant delivered them in less than 5 minutes. The response was incredibly prompt! Highly recommend!

MMAOBEA stay to remember: The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen. Review of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen Reviewed yesterday There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means. Arrival and Reception First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. The Club Skyline View Room If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort. The Mandarin Club Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people. Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

TTuzimenyaThis is, without a doubt, the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in for years. The facilities are modern, and the location is excellent, with a private entrance directly to K11. The lobby is on the 95th floor, and the rooms are even higher, offering fantastic views. Especially at dusk, when the city lights come on, turn off the room lights and look out the window – it's a breathtaking panorama of glittering lights and bustling traffic, with most of Guangzhou spread out before you. The cleanliness is absolutely impeccable; you could practically say it's spotless. If you drop something on the floor, you'd feel bad not picking it up! This is truly the hotel's biggest highlight. From the doorman to every staff member I encountered, everyone greeted me with a big smile. The turndown service was incredibly meticulous. From the bottled water and chocolates placed by the bed to the neatly arranged slippers underneath, the fresh, juicy apples in the fruit bowl, and even the neatly coiled and tied charging cables – everything demonstrated professionalism. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis stay truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt an incredible sense of thoughtful and attentive service. The guest relations team was exceptionally warm and thorough throughout my entire stay, efficiently guiding me through check-in and responding to all my needs with such warmth. They proactively helped coordinate details and answered all my questions, demonstrating incredible professionalism while also making me feel so welcome. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly polite. Whether it was giving directions in the lobby, assisting with luggage, or answering daily inquiries, they consistently maintained a genuine smile and provided efficient responses, always prioritizing the guest's needs. The hotel environment itself is also impeccable – the grand and elegant lobby, coupled with the clean and comfortable public areas, and topped off by Kiki's incredibly dedicated service, made the entire trip feel wonderfully warm. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is an absolutely perfect choice. It's already on my go-to list, and I'll definitely be choosing it again for my next visit!

GGuest UserThe Hengqin Bay Hotel is the ultimate family-friendly resort! The package deal we got was incredibly good value. From check-in to check-out, everything was flawless. The breakfast was abundant and delicious: The buffet offered a wide variety of tasty options, including Chinese and Western hot dishes, a freshly-made noodle station, desserts, and fruits – we ate there for two days straight and didn't get bored. The service was impeccable: The staff were always smiling, enthusiastic, and professional. The concierge handled luggage storage super efficiently, room service delivered items within minutes, and the front desk made check-in and check-out extremely quick, ensuring a worry-free stay. The rooms were warm and comfortable: Spacious and bright with soft lighting, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. The children's toiletries were exquisite and cute, and tiny slippers and bathrobes were provided. The soundproofing was excellent, and the corridor carpets were silent yet playful, ensuring my child slept soundly. The facilities were thoughtfully designed: Ample and free parking, smooth elevators, and a grand lobby. The hotel's biggest highlight is its own dolphin pool; watching the dolphins leap out of the water every morning with my child was so therapeutic! There's also the Hengqin Bay Water World, with indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, and children's slides – my child didn't want to leave. Convenient transportation: You can take a free shuttle bus to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, but I highly recommend taking the shuttle boat; the scenery along the way is like something out of a fairytale. The hotel is also very close to the airport and high-speed rail station, making it super convenient for out-of-town guests. In summary: The service is warm, the rooms are comfortable, there are plenty of family-friendly activities, and the package deal is incredibly cost-effective. Next time we come to Chimelong, we'll definitely stay at Hengqin Bay again! Highly recommend to all families with children!

GGuest UserAfter a long search, we finally found this almost perfect hotel. While other hotels near the Canton Tower were asking us to book a suite just to set up a marriage proposal, this hotel, with its prime view of the Canton Tower, immediately said, 'wedding arrangements are possible.' They truly showed the greatest sincerity. My partner and I confessed our love at the top of the Canton Tower, and we wanted to relive everything we've been through with the most beautiful view of the tower. Celia, as the front desk representative, provided the most thoughtful service and perfectly responded to our requests, giving us an unforgettable memory of a lifetime. We are so grateful, a definite five-star review! 🙏

GGuest UserThe room was fantastic and perfectly suited the modern aesthetic that young people appreciate – not those traditional dark wood colors, which made it feel incredibly comfortable. All the staff members were exceptionally friendly; every lady we passed greeted us warmly, and they always asked if we needed our room cleaned. One day, I accidentally spilled a drink on the sheets, and the housekeeping auntie just changed them for us without us even asking. They also have a 'treasure box' with lots of items, and someone will deliver them to your room. The concierge even asked if we wanted breakfast and sent it up to us one morning.

IIris503A delightful trip that brought joy to the kids and peace of mind to the adults! Absolutely perfect! **Environment:** The overall style is full of childlike fun and cuteness. Chimelong's theme is truly well-executed, with penguin 🐧 elements everywhere you look. **Facilities:** Everything you need is there. Even if something was missing or needed, the housekeeping and concierge departments were quick to provide it. Response times were fast, and the staff were all very friendly. **Cleanliness:** We thought it was excellent. We didn't encounter any dust or dirty corners, even in hard-to-reach spots. The restroom even had disposable toilet seat covers and a child's toilet seat adapter. **Service:** From the front desk to the concierge (information desk), housekeeping, the butler, and restaurant service, to every staff member we passed, and even the cleaners – everyone offered a smiling greeting, prompt service when needed, and thorough answers to questions. Everything was handled perfectly. **🎂 Birthday Perks:** Since it was my child's birthday month, the front desk gave us luggage tags and a birthday badge. The front desk also informed housekeeping to do a birthday setup. Although it was just simple balloons and window stickers, for a child, that's the key to happiness! **🎆 Fireworks Room:** We chose a fireworks-view room, so we could watch the fireworks from the window. While it might not be as spectacular as seeing them live, it was much more convenient and stress-free for a mother traveling alone with a young child. **🎁 Gifts:** The concierge (information desk) gives out small gifts. My child would ask for one every day – so much fun! Many staff members would also hand out flashcards to the children, making their day full of joy. **🎡 Hotel Play Area (Taoqibao):** The hotel's play area was a pleasant surprise. The surprising part was its perfect view of the fountain square and fireworks – the angle couldn't be beaten! Also, the play area is connected to the outdoors, so it's not a sealed space relying purely on air conditioning. I really liked this design concept, with air circulation from outside and natural light. In hot or cold weather, there are transparent thermal insulation curtains. **🍳 Buffet Breakfast:** The hotel's buffet breakfast had a good variety, with many different stations. The taste was also quite good, though personal preferences vary. **🍽️ Buffet Dinner:** The buffet dinner was even more extensive. Seafood and meat were replenished promptly, and soft drinks were unlimited. Alcoholic beverages cost an additional 58 yuan. If you haven't booked the buffet dinner, there are plenty of other options at the hotel's other restaurants or food court.

SSuosuolanqiesuiyiFacilities: What attracted me to this hotel was its pet-friendly nature, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. Upon check-in, a pet-friendly gift bag contained some useful items, and the cleaning staff were incredibly attentive and helpful in cleaning up any messes our dog made. Service: When we first placed the order, we discovered that our room type didn't have a TV. Later, when the butler confirmed the booking, I mentioned that we were traveling with children and that the kids would enjoy watching movies in the evenings. The butler assured us they would do their best to arrange a TV, and they did indeed arrange it for us upon check-in – a pleasant surprise! Also, when we checked out, we forgot some items, and the butler collected everything and contacted us via WeChat to confirm if we needed them mailed back. It was truly a thoughtful, attentive, and warm service experience. Highly recommended! 👍 Cleanliness: The room was clean, and the air purifier prevented any unpleasant odors. One area for improvement was the shower water pressure, which was a bit too gentle. A stronger water pressure would have made the showering experience much better. 😄 As a family of five with furry friends, we would definitely come back for a second visit. The Ayana community is indeed a great place to relax and unwind.

GGuest UserThis has to be the best value-for-money five-star hotel in Guangzhou, it's absolutely fantastic! It's incredible that I could stay at an InterContinental property in a first-tier city for just a few hundred yuan during New Year's Day. Many of the negative reviews online are probably from people with overly high expectations. And for out-of-town visitors, it is indeed a bit out of the way; aside from the hotel, there isn't a single other dining option on the island, and even a convenience store requires a 1km walk. However, for a pure relaxation getaway, this place is truly amazing! 👍 The front desk even upgraded me to a suite, which was a fantastic perk! 👍 The breakfast offers a wide variety, and it was a pleasant surprise to see them offering pig trotters in ginger and vinegar for the first time, haha. The lobby is huge, but it's a bit funny that there isn't even a single sofa. The room's hardware is excellent. At night, you have a direct view of Zhujiang New Town, with the Canton Tower practically within reach, just across the river. The vibrancy and tranquility coexist without disturbing each other; I truly enjoyed this peaceful oasis in the midst of the bustling city. The toilet is smart but doesn't have a heating function, which I found a bit puzzling 🥲. The room is very spacious, but some corners show significant wear and tear, perhaps indicating it's a bit older? Overall, this was an incredibly good value experience, highly recommended!

JJiaoyangsihuoyzI checked in at the Executive Lounge on the afternoon of March 3rd, after calling ahead to have the room prepared. My trip was for six days and five nights in an executive room (originally five days and four nights, extended by a day due to a hotel laundry issue). Many thanks to everyone at the lounge for their meticulous service. Thank you, dear Cora. Don't let others' mistakes get to you; keep up the great work! Thanks to Ice, your professionalism and efficiency are truly remarkable. Because of you, I'll choose Guangzhou Mo again next time. Much appreciation to Suky for being so warm and welcoming. And thanks to the Executive Lounge managers, Silvia Liang and Yamy. Despite a few bumps, this trip was great overall. The unpleasant incidents during my stay had nothing to do with the lounge staff. Even after checking out, I haven't received a satisfactory explanation from the hotel. I won't leave a negative review, but I reserve the right to pursue this further. What caused my clothes to be damaged and improperly ironed? How do you explain the room noise and the unreplenished mini-bar? Was the guest who burned their tongue on coffee followed up with promptly? The follow-up handling has been dragged out and lacked sincerity! Your 'choose one' offer and the eventual 'choose two' were both very low-class. Due to time constraints, I don't want to get into a further dispute. You are Mo, a 'Diamond' hotel. You shouldn't treat executive room members this way!
