I had a power outage at home, so I booked a last-minute stay at the nearest Sheraton for a night. The staff were very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean, and the ambiance was first-class. The room was quite spacious and featured a balcony overlooking the lake, which made for a very comfortable feeling. Breakfast was decent; my favorite item was the 'zhuchanglu'. There was a good variety of breakfast options, but the coffee was undrinkable, and the hot milk wasn't rich enough. Some minor issues that could be improved were: 1. The room had two bottles of shower gel but no shampoo; I assume there was a mix-up. 2. The in-room tea bags looked quite cheap and didn't feel premium. 3. For the complimentary Southeast Asian set lunch, we sat in the restaurant for 5 minutes without any staff attending to us, and the food itself was just average.

I used to stay in Crowne Plaza Jiangmen last year and it was very good. Unfortunately last week was very disappointed. I was very surprised by the quality of the food. No more buffet dinner with western or Chinese food. Just a small hot pot. For the breakfast no western food accommodations. I had the feeling to stay in a local low standard hotel. On the top of that the air conditioning was interrupted in the middle of the night. And I realized in the early morning about 5am that they stop the air conditioning in all the hotel!? While it is now the summer time in south China.

Came to Foshan to buy furniture and stayed at the Sofitel Foshan for the first time. The experience was consistently excellent! Nicole at the lobby was incredibly thoughtful, always greeting me warmly and even proactively helping me plan my route to the furniture markets. The room was spacious and comfortable, with soft, cozy bedding for a great night's sleep. Breakfast offered a rich variety and was delicious. The service was meticulous, and the value for money is outstanding. This will be my top choice next time I visit Foshan!

True to its reputation as a venerable five-star hotel, it exudes an old-money charm with a palpable sense of history. While the in-room amenities might not be the newest, they are meticulously chosen, and the layout and items show thoughtful consideration. I checked in quite late and forgot to add a special request, so I was assigned a lower-floor river view room. Although I didn't end up getting a higher floor, I could see that the hotel genuinely tried its best to accommodate my request. Guests receive priority booking and arrangements for Yutangchunnuan and Hongtufu, and when you mention your room number, you get an 85% discount, which effectively waives the service charge – a definite plus! The gym and heated pool have a great ambiance; I didn't swim as I hadn't brought my swimsuit. However, the gym equipment is a bit dated, and it only has a Smith machine without a barbell, so no squat rack or bench press. I hope they'll consider upgrading it.

Very friendly customer services, free breakfast offers enough options (mainly Chinese food). Room is nice and clean, having AI assistant for turning-on air condition and window/curtains opening etc. free airport shuttle mini bus upon customer’s phone confirmation. Close to the Baiyun International Airport, 15 minutes by mini bus. Overall, very happy and highly recommend it!

We booked a premium garden-view twin room, and when we arrived, Tina at the front desk upgraded our room for us – the room itself was absolutely amazing! She also thoughtfully helped me book a mahjong room. The service was truly exceptional! This is definitely the standard of a five-star hotel! The dinner selection was also fantastic. Knowing we were a family of 10, they even reserved a specific 10-person area for us and brought individual mini lobsters to our seats. So thoughtful! We'll definitely be back for Chinese New Year! A big shout-out to Tina!

The hotel room was very clean and tidy, and the location was excellent with convenient transportation. The service attitude here was incredibly friendly and attentive. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The room was spotless, and since I was staying with two babies, I asked the housekeeper, Caroline, for a bed rail, which was already set up for us. They also provided plenty of drinking water every day, which was a thoughtful touch. The cleaning staff were all very polite. On the second day, they even brought us fruit. Overall, the stay was excellent.

The most delightful surprise of this stay was meeting Nina at the front desk. From the moment we walked into the lobby, her warm smile was like a ray of sunshine, instantly melting away our travel fatigue. What truly set her apart was her proactive service mindset. Learning it was our first time in the city, she took the initiative to compile tips for local food and transportation. She quietly reminded us to take an umbrella before it rained, and when we returned late at night, her ”You've worked hard, get some good rest” made us feel incredibly reassured. These might seem like small details, but they truly showcased the professionalism and thoughtfulness of an outstanding front desk agent. Excellent service is the warmest light on any journey.
