Hotel was amazing and spacious. Amenities were great - gym and multiple indoor and outdoor swimming pools (though I did not have the time to enjoy it fully). I landed in Guangzhou very early in the morning and arrived at the hotel at 7am prepared to drop my bags off at the reception and go about my day before coming back to check in late afternoon. I was greeted by the reception staff (forgot his name - sorry!) and they gave me my room straight away and also let me use my breakfast voucher the same morning as I had to check out early the following morning to catch another early morning flight. I am extremely pleased with the service. I gave it a 4 stars for the location as it’s not as convenient as other hotels I have stayed at in Zhaoqing but overall I would definitely recommend it if you are looking to enjoy and wind down after a long day out or even enjoy a full day use of the amenities at the hotel especially during hot days.

Special thanks to Mati for the excellent service! We chose the New World Hotel Qingyuan to celebrate my husband's birthday, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. From the front desk service to the room details, you could really feel the hotel's dedication. **Thoughtful Service**: The front desk staff upgraded our room and gifted us a bottle of red wine as a birthday surprise. Their service was warm and attentive, with a constant smile, and the check-in process was efficient and smooth. **Comfortable Room**: The room was clean and tidy. The indoor hot tub was a highlight, and enjoying a hot spring bath with red wine in the evening created a wonderful ambiance. The mountain view from the window was expansive, and waking up to lush greenery when drawing the curtains in the morning was incredibly relaxing. **Family-Friendly**: The kids' club had a rich variety of facilities, and our 5-year-old had a blast, especially loving the role-playing area and the slides. He was even reluctant to leave at check-out. **Great Value for Money**: Whether it was the service, the environment, or the dining, it was all well worth the price. The overall experience was very satisfying, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

This is my fourth stay at the Swissotel Foshan this year, and the service quality is excellent! The hotel is centrally located, with a bus stop right downstairs and easy access to Zumiao subway station, making it very convenient for getting around. The front desk knew my daughter was returning and specially arranged for us to be on the same floor, making communication easier, and our room was upgraded – fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Now, I come almost every day for afternoon tea at Seasons Restaurant, truly experiencing the warm care provided by Swissotel. ❤️❤️

Our stay at Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel and our visit to Ocean Kingdom were nothing short of magical, an experience that far exceeded our every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the hotel’s breathtaking grandeur and welcoming atmosphere, where elegance seamlessly blended with warmth and hospitality. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, treating us not merely as guests but as valued visitors whose comfort truly mattered. The room itself was a spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed sanctuary, featuring soft, ocean-inspired tones, plush beds, and thoughtful touches that made it the perfect retreat after long, adventure-filled days. Every aspect of the hotel radiated excellence, from the spotless facilities to the exceptional service that seemed to anticipate every need. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a feast for the senses with its impressive variety, featuring flaky pastries, fresh fruits, hearty Western dishes, and authentic Chinese cuisine. It was a culinary journey that delighted both the palate and the heart, setting the tone for our days at Ocean Kingdom. The hotel’s atmosphere was lively yet peaceful, creating a sense of serenity amidst the excitement, and it perfectly complemented the wonder that awaited us at the park. Ocean Kingdom itself was a world of imagination come alive, a place of discovery, laughter, and awe. The marine-themed exhibits and shows were captivating, from graceful manta rays gliding above us to playful dolphins performing with intelligence and charm. Every corner of the park offered something new: thrilling rides, mesmerizing underwater tunnels, and cheerful parades that filled the air with joy. The facilities were impeccably well-maintained, and the staff were always ready to assist, striking a seamless balance between fun and safety. Each moment in the park reminded us of how thoughtfully everything was designed to bring happiness to families and travelers of all ages. Yet as much as we saw and did, we couldn’t escape the feeling that two days weren’t enough. There were still so many rides to try, shows to watch, and corners to explore. As evening fell on our second day, the soft glow of lights reflecting off the water created a scene so enchanting that we wished time could slow down. Returning to our comfortable room that night, we knew one thing for sure: we would come back. This trip wasn’t just a getaway; it was a meaningful experience that deepened our appreciation for shared family moments and rekindled our sense of wonder. The combination of luxury, comfort, and adventure made Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel and Ocean Kingdom stand out as one of the most memorable destinations we’ve ever visited. Every detail from the architecture and design to the food, service, and entertainment spoke of care and excellence. The entire experience felt personal and heartfelt, as if every smile and every small gesture were designed to make guests feel special. What we found at Chimelong Hengqin Bay wasn’t just an impressive hotel and park; it was a celebration of joy, discovery, and togetherness. It reminded us how travel can enrich our lives, strengthen our bonds, and fill us with gratitude for the simple yet extraordinary moments we share with loved ones. As we left, carrying bags full of souvenirs and hearts full of memories, we knew this was not goodbye but a “see you again soon.” Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel and Ocean Kingdom gave us more than a vacation; they gave us a story we will tell again and again, a reminder that some places don’t just meet expectations - they surpass them beautifully.

I specifically came to Foshan to buy furniture and chose the Sofitel Foshan, which has a great reputation. Before checking in, I saw the hotel's introduction, and it definitely lived up to expectations once I was there. The hotel's decor, from the first-floor entrance to the rooms, is very stylish. This time, I stayed in a Luxury Postmodern room, which also had a lot of character. The overall facilities in the room were excellent, and the hygiene was very good. This morning, I saw Jingjing, the floor manager. Even though the hotel was very busy, she went above and beyond to graciously grant us a late check-out, allowing me to take a nap after finishing my furniture shopping. The service was truly exceptional!

First time staying at Hilton GZ Tianhe & I booked the executive room for ease of check-in & out. We had an amazing time at the hotel, thanks to the great hospitality extended by the hotel staff, with special shout out to Ms 曾好。 She was incredibly friendly and she gave us great suggestions on where to dine in GZ (where locals go to, instead of the usual tourist dining spots). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As it was our silver wedding anniversary, the hotel also provided a nice gesture by getting the room decorated with a small cake upon our check in. Much appreciated. All in all, Hilton GZ Tianhe's top floor executive lounge & ground floor bar was enjoyable, the mattress is of excellent sleep quality, the gym was clean and functional and the breakfast served offered a variety of local and continental spread. No qualms recommending this hotel to others!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a large mall, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Plus, there's a subway station nearby for easy access around the city. The hotel facilities are also top-notch, with all stone surfaces being marble, giving it a very luxurious feel. The amenities provided are great, and the shower pressure is fantastic, making for a very comfortable experience. The views, in particular, are stunning! As the tallest hotel in Shenzhen, you get a panoramic view of the entire city, which is absolutely mesmerizing. The scenery is different day and night, offering endless beauty. The service is exceptional; everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff and housekeepers is friendly, enthusiastic, and always ready to help. When I asked for directions on the first floor, they even personally escorted me out and pointed the way, making sure I wouldn't get lost. My three-day stay in Shenzhen at The St. Regis was truly unforgettable and enjoyable. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time. Thank you, St. Regis, and goodbye for now!

QQingjiaowokukuziBooked the Tower View Room 03, which was really nice. I could see both the Canton Tower and IFC. It was my first night in Guangzhou, and I got to take in the city's night view. My luggage was delivered to the room, and I was able to check in early since a room was available. Every dish at Guang Yu Xuan was great; the angel hair pasta was unexpectedly delicious, with a perfect balance of peppercorn flavor that wasn't overpowering. Vera sent a complimentary anniversary cake, and Sophia was also excellent—I could just contact her directly for anything I needed. Turndown service tidied up a few things and left three chocolates. It's a shame the weather wasn't great during my stay, with a lot of fog. I'd definitely choose Rosewood again next time I'm in Guangzhou.

GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel operates on a level of excellence that transcends borders and benchmarks. Having traveled extensively across Canada and other parts of the world, I can confidently say that this property—and more importantly, its staff (Maimai)—sets a new gold standard in hospitality. They accommodated our request to use the gym during extended hours at their inconvenience, allowed use of their lounges while moving their other reservations around. The Hotel: Impeccable Design Meets Thoughtful Functionality Every corner of the hotel speaks to a commitment to detail. The architecture is both grand and inviting, blending modern elegance with local charm. Rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and intuitively designed for comfort and convenience. From the plush bedding to the ambient lighting and high-end amenities, it’s clear that no expense was spared in creating a sanctuary for guests. The common areas—lobby, lounges, spa, and dining spaces—are equally impressive. They strike the perfect balance between luxury and warmth, making you feel both pampered and at home. The Staff: A Masterclass in Service What truly elevates this hotel is its team. Every staff member we encountered (Maimai again haha)—from front desk to housekeeping, concierge to restaurant servers—embodied professionalism, warmth, and a genuine desire to make our stay exceptional. Front Desk: Efficient, welcoming, and proactive. They remembered our names, anticipated our needs, and made check-in/check-out seamless. Concierge: A wealth of local knowledge and a magician when it comes to reservations and recommendations. They went above and beyond to personalize our itinerary. Housekeeping: Discreet, thorough, and consistent. Our room was refreshed daily with precision and care. Dining Staff: Attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always eager to accommodate dietary preferences. It’s rare to see such a uniformly high level of service across all departments. The team operates like a well-oiled machine, yet each interaction feels personal and heartfelt. Culinary Excellence (Dimsum) The dining experience was nothing short of spectacular. Whether it was breakfast in the sunlit atrium or dimsum (with a potential business partner) in the signature restaurant, every meal was a celebration of flavor and presentation. Ingredients were fresh, menus were creative, and the chefs clearly take pride in their craft. Commitment to Excellence What sets this hotel apart is its unwavering commitment to excellence. It’s not just about luxury—it’s about creating meaningful experiences. The staff doesn’t just meet expectations; they anticipate and exceed them. There’s a culture of care, pride, and hospitality that permeates every interaction. Compared to even the finest hotels in Canada, this property stands out for its consistency, warmth, and attention to detail. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place to remember. Final Thoughts If you're looking for a hotel that delivers more than just a room, but an experience that lingers long after checkout, this is it. Whether you're traveling for business, leisure, or celebration, this team will make you feel like the most important guest in the world. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. This is hospitality at its finest. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

IimsharonI brought my parents and kids to Chimelong, and overall it exceeded my expectations. I was a bit worried after reading some reviews online before coming, but the overall experience was great. We stayed one night at the Spaceship Hotel and one night at the Penguin Hotel. The Penguin Hotel is closer to the Ocean Kingdom, and the Trip.com concierge also helped us arrange a few things. The fireworks were beautiful. We bought a 2-day, 1-night unlimited pass for two, which also included tickets for the Chimelong Show for two. The Chimelong Show was absolutely spectacular, we couldn't stop praising it. Both hotels have facilities for children, and the breakfast buffet was very convenient too! 👍

GGuest UserThe Aranya YIN Hotel is located in the heart of the European Town area at the foot of the Jiulong Lake project. It's an all-suite hotel with a limited number of rooms, approximately ten, reportedly designed by a Korean designer. First, the rooms are spacious, with varying sizes and layouts for the same price of 50, 60, or 70 (this difference can be seen on the Aranya app). Second, the rooms are clean, with no obvious unhygienic spots. Third, the room comes with an Audio-Technica record player and one or two vinyl records (although they're Taylor Swift, which I'm not a big fan of). Thankfully, there's also a Marshall speaker with Bluetooth connectivity. There's also a complimentary tea set and tea leaves, and a Nescafe capsule coffee machine with four capsules. Fourth, its location in the heart of town, coupled with two French balconies, ensures a great view (see Figure 4). However, this experience also revealed some shortcomings: First, the signs were unclear. Cars are prohibited on the town's core streets, but there were no clear signs around the perimeter of the town. I had no idea where to park or the hotel entrance, and there was no staff to guide me. I could only grope around, gazing at the hotel's spire. Finally, after asking three town staff members driving electric carts, I was able to park in front of the Princess Hotel. Then, I dragged my suitcases through the Princess Hotel lobby before I found the YIN Hotel. Second, the room design and layout were strange. First, there was no TV. This also relates to my subsequent complaints about the service, which I'll discuss later. Actually, I hadn't considered a TV important at other hotels because I had various evening tours. But at Jiulong Lake, there were no cultural activities in the evening (which is a key characteristic of the Aranya brand). After diving in the sea and having two beers, I returned to my room at around 8:00 AM and realized there was no TV. It was a bit boring. Secondly, the shower had no sink or water barrier, so a lot of water flowed into the dry area of the bathroom. And this is a Korean designer? (See Figure 8). Third, the service experience was quite poor. These included: ① When checking in, I was on the first floor. My wife was in a hurry to get to the room, so I took the room card and went up first (thank you to the front desk for making this easy). Unexpectedly, the cleaning staff member who had been in the same elevator with my wife entered the room before us and headed straight for the bathroom. For some reason, they looked around and muttered, ”No one,” before leaving without even turning back. They didn't even explain to my wife, leaving me completely bewildered and nervous. As I went upstairs, my wife was nervously yelling, ”Who's there?” ② The lack of a TV in the room and the hotel's handling of the situation were even more surprising. We've also been to the Anaya Anlan Hotel in Beidaihe. Because the rooms are large and have a vertical living room design, a wall-mounted TV would be too far from the bed, so they built a low TV wall in the middle of the living room to accommodate the TV. Since I couldn't find a TV in my room at the YIN Hotel, I specifically checked the Ctrip website, which also mentioned basic amenities like a TV. After finding nothing, I called the front desk, which led to the most ridiculous experience of the time: The front desk succinctly stated that most rooms at this hotel didn't have TVs, with only a few family rooms having them. OK, while that didn't align with the hotel's promotional message (which emphasized audiovisuals and included a dedicated theater), I could accept that. If it didn't have one, then it didn't. But I asked the front desk, ”This hotel has been around for a while, haven't any customers complained about it being a basic feature like a TV?” The answer was no. Well, I can only assume this request is sufficiently personalized and age-appropriate. Still not giving up, I mentioned the Ctrip website listing and asked if I could use the theater. And then something magical happened: at 8:42 PM, I checked the Ctrip hotel page and saw ”LCD TV” (see Figure 5). At 8:53 PM, I followed the Ctrip page to get the hotel's phone number (see Figure 6). At 9:20 PM, I checked the hotel's Ctrip page again, and the ”LCD TV” listing had vanished (see Figure 7). Did the hotel ignore the customer's odd comments? Or did they care enough to revise the website overnight? I suspect the hotel, firstly, saw my poor experience and secondly, felt guilty about the equipment page issue. They sent staff to appease me twice, providing a bottle of fruit wine and snacks in the evening (we skipped the wine because we'd already had it in the sea, and had a packet of snacks). In the morning, they brought a packed breakfast (which consisted of bread and fruit). It's not uncommon for a 2,000 yuan suite to not include breakfast; many hotels charge different prices with or without breakfast, but the key point is that I couldn't book a room with breakfast in the first place). They also gave me an extra set of hotel toiletries when I left. We felt the staff's genuine desire for a good experience, but the Korean designer's lack of practicality and the hotel operator's overnight revisions to the website are truly lamentable. In summary, the YIN is a good place to stay, but there's still much room for improvement in both its hardware and software.

TTravelfinderLocation Although the location of the hotel is about 20 minutes from the city center, the hotel provides a free shuttle bus service every half an hour to Guanzhou metro station. Guests can make use of it to connect themselves to other stations around the Guangzhou metro system. The downside of it is that the last shuttle bus service ends at 7pm from Mondays to Thursdays, Sundays and 8pm on Fridays to Saturdays. Hence, guests would have to make alternative arrangements should they wish to return to the hotel past these timings. Service Quality The staff there were really helpful and efficient. They provided us with directions and recommended us to a wide range of food and shopping options. However, during our first night of stay, we realised that housekeeping had forgotten to replenish our body wash, shampoo and conditioner bottles from the previous guest who checked out earlier and it took us multiple calls to the housekeeping team before we could get through to them. Cleanliness and Comfort The room was quite spacious, clean and comfortable. I can see that housekeeping did a thorough job in ensuring the cleanliness of both the room and the toilet. Amenities The hotel offers spa, fitness center and a swimming pool. They also have a really good dimsum restaurant on the 4th floor which guests can check out. However, although the hotel mentioned that it offers 'free high speed wifi', I experienced an incredibly slow wifi connection throughout my stay which required me to use my data roaming instead. Guests who are considering to stay here might want to take note on this so that they can prepare an external e-sim to connect online. Overall Experience Overall, I had a pleasant and amazing stay and I really enjoyed my time there. I would definitely recommend anyone who are considering to stay here to do so.

PPcomDue to work, I extended my stay for another night. It was super convenient that Stella at the front desk helped update my room card, and I also saw my old friend, Supervisor Mamara, who is always so kind. My original room was particularly smooth, and room service was prompt, tidying up the room without disturbing my work or rest! I was out entertaining a lot this time, so I didn't get a chance to enjoy a drink at the hotel, but I still think their wine selection is excellent. They even had a Cote du Rhône, a wine I used to really like when I lived in Switzerland – highly recommend it! They were also very accommodating with a late checkout until 2 PM. And since I used a card sleeve, I didn't even need to return the room card when checking out, which was even more convenient! Looking forward to coming back next time!

Both the bar and restaurant are excellent and very new. Environment: The lobby is really cramped and there's no seating... I suggest expanding it. Everything else is perfect, and it's right next to Taikoo Hui. Service: Very enthusiastic, they prepared an anniversary celebration cake for us. The service was fantastic throughout, especially the gentleman at the newly opened bar who was spot on. I highly recommend everyone to go to Liang for cocktails and ask for Ivan~ :)

Jjerriah innStayed for two nights, here's my review! First, the pros: 1. The location is absolutely unbeatable! The hotel has direct access to Yitian Holiday Plaza, and you're right at the mall and subway downstairs. It's a 5-minute walk to Window of the World/Happy Valley, which saves so much energy when you're taking kids on rides. Plus, you can watch the fireworks display from your room's balcony at night – my kids were screaming with excitement! 2. The service deserves a big thumbs-up! 3. Little perks: They restock 6 glass bottles of mineral water in the room daily. The turndown service leaves little bear cookies that are quite tasty, and breakfast goes until 11 AM, which is great for late sleepers! Now for a couple of complaints: 1. The facilities are definitely showing their age… The carpet edges are a bit frayed, and the bathtub drains a bit slowly, but the bedding is truly comfortable! Westin’s signature 'Heavenly Bed' lives up to its name – I was asleep in seconds. 2. Soundproofing is so-so. We stayed on the Window of the World side, and the park announcements during the day plus traffic noise at night were a bit loud. Light sleepers should request a room in the annex facing the mall. 3. Breakfast during peak hours means a scramble for seats! It gets super crowded after 9 AM, and the sausages were still half-frozen… I recommend going before 8:30 AM or just heading downstairs to the mall for dim sum – more options and cheaper too! Summary: It might be old, but the location and service are fantastic! Especially for families with kids visiting the amusement parks, for just over 1000 yuan, being able to go back to the hotel and relax whenever you want – what more could you ask for? I'll definitely choose this place again next time!
