Choosing Wyndham Grand Zhaoqing Seven Star Crags for our class reunion in Zhaoqing was absolutely the right decision! The hotel is right next to Seven Star Crags, and you can step out and walk along the Star Lake greenway – the location is superb. The lobby is grand and elegant, and the courtyard with its small bridges and flowing water creates a wonderful ambiance. Our lovely concierge, Caroline, kindly upgraded us to a lake-view room with a private hot spring tub. The room was spacious and tidy, and the private hot tub on the balcony offered direct views of Star Lake – soaking in it while enjoying the lake scenery was incredibly therapeutic. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, with freshly ground rice noodle rolls and Cantonese dim sum aplenty. The outdoor hot springs, heated pool, sauna, and kids' club meant there was something for everyone, ensuring both adults and children had a great time. The staff were attentive and polite throughout, and the room service was meticulous and spotlessly clean. It’s a perfect one-stop vacation experience, suitable for families and leisure travelers alike. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Zhaoqing!

Really great! The decor is quite new, and the front desk staff was super helpful, even giving me a free room upgrade. I slept incredibly well; I didn't hear any airplane noise throughout the night, so I got a really good sleep. Plus, there's breakfast in the morning and a shuttle to the airport every hour. The value for money is seriously high. This will definitely be my go-to spot for future business trips!

We chose Marriott for our family trip, and our stay exceeded expectations. The concierge proactively helped with our luggage, and the front desk service was incredibly warm and attentive. They thoughtfully arranged a spacious room for us, considering we were traveling with children. The room hygiene was impeccable; every nook, cranny, and surface was spotless, and all facilities were well-maintained. The hotel has its own heated pool with a comfortable water temperature, so the kids could swim safely. Breakfast catered to both seniors and children, with a wide variety of porridges, pastries, and fresh fruits. The hotel's location is convenient for getting around, close to shopping areas and attractions, and parking is easy. Among hotels in the same category, it offers outstanding value for money. Our whole family had a comfortable stay, and it's definitely worth revisiting.

We visited Guangzhou at the very end of our two-week trip. We decided to really splurge and booked this hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't see in the hotel's terms that an astonishing 800 RMB was charged per day. This information shocked us at the front desk, especially considering how tired we were from our train journey. Thankfully, the young lady was accommodating and checked us in without a deposit. But the surprises didn't stop there. For such a room price, we expected more perks beyond just breakfast, a gym, and a pool. Regrettably, the hotel tries to squeeze even more money out of you in every other aspect. In hotels with fewer stars, laundry is always free, and they'll even dry your clothes and deliver them to your room. Not here. I wouldn't call these significant drawbacks, but it still left a bad taste, as you don't want to deal with anything extra at the end of a trip. A huge thank you to the cleaning lady on the ninth floor for her wonderful mood every day and incredible care. The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and stylish, and the room is superb. We also really enjoyed the pool and gym.

I've stayed here several times, and it's always my first choice when I return to Guangzhou. The dining and entertainment options are convenient, and parking is available. There's a shopping area right downstairs, and it's easy to get around by taxi or subway. The service is excellent, and the environment is fantastic. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy, and the suites are well-equipped and practical. They even have robots deliver takeout, which is super convenient. My stays are always very pleasant, and I sleep comfortably.

The hotel's hygiene was excellent; despite its age, it's very well-maintained. However, the bathroom faucet was incredibly difficult to use – very stiff, and you had to twist it twice to get warm water, but then it would immediately turn scalding hot if you twisted it just a little more. The bathroom is arguably the most important part of a hotel room, so this was a really poor experience. I hope they consider replacing the bathroom fixtures. Another point is that the hotel staff's management and service need significant improvement. Our package included breakfast and dinner. During check-in, I asked the front desk if my child, who is 1.2 meters tall, could eat for free. They even looked at my child and confirmed it was fine. Yet, during dinner, someone came to charge us. I asked why there were such inconsistent statements. They went back and forth three times, verifying and then trying to charge us again. Eventually, I asked for a superior to handle it, and indeed, my child was not charged for dinner. The funniest part was the next day at breakfast: it was just me and my child (the other adult was still sleeping). Someone immediately stopped us at the entrance, saying that if the other adult wanted to eat, we'd have to pay extra... My eyes practically rolled to the back of my head! Is such a large hotel really so worried about a 1.2-meter child drinking an extra glass of milk? With that kind of mindset, I doubt they'll last long. I didn't want to get angry so early in the morning, so I just said, 'Then we won't eat!' Honestly, I've stayed at many hotels in the same tier – Marriott, Hyatt, Le Méridien, Sheraton, etc. – and I've never encountered anything like this. It was quite an eye-opener.

How do I put this? We traveled on the weekend before Children's Day, so it was crowded, and the experience wasn't ideal, but you could tell the hotel staff tried their best to manage. First, the pros: for over 1500 RMB, it included the room, unlimited two-day admission to the Spaceship Park and Water World for two people. Both days, we could enter an hour early, which was great for enjoying ourselves. Plus, on the first day, we could activate the tickets ourselves and enter, which was a nice touch! The Spaceship Park had plenty of fun rides and attractions, and the queues weren't too long – the longest wait was about 30-45 minutes, which is acceptable. The Water World staff were very vigilant about safety; they had eyes like hawks, especially for kids who can swim and were with their parents – it felt a bit overly cautious, to be honest. (Overall, good feedback.) We had already spent a full day playing when we checked in, bought the buffet dinner, and even got a room upgrade. The buffet dinner was also very crowded, but the food quality was good, and the staff service was excellent. Two regrets: first, the Water World was too packed, the shower facilities were insufficient, and the drainage was too slow. The entire shower area, I mean the *entire* shower area, was flooded. Second, the upgraded room had a severe air conditioning leak! We couldn't switch rooms because it was so busy, but a maintenance technician arrived quickly and fixed it. Overall, I feel that since the hotel has been operating for many years, some facilities are showing their age and need timely maintenance and updates. All in all, the value for money is good. I'd give the hardware 70 points and the soft service 100 points.

After comparing several boutique hotels, I settled on Lofei and was pleasantly surprised throughout my stay. The overall environment is a tranquil oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle; the moment you step inside, the street noise vanishes, and a subtle fragrance instantly puts you at ease. The room is spacious and airy with excellent natural light. The furniture and soft furnishings feel high-quality, not cheap at all. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, with strong water pressure, and the toiletries are top-notch. The cleaning staff were incredibly meticulous, proactively replenishing drinks and consumables daily. The service from the staff was just right – friendly and polite without being intrusive, and very efficient. All the facilities are new, the WiFi is stable and fast, and parking is convenient. There were no hidden charges, the pricing was fair, and the overall comfort and aesthetic appeal are both excellent. This is truly a rare high-quality designer hotel in Xinhui, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable travel experience.

Modern hotel with the convenient location. It’s near the metro which makes it 10/10. The room was bright and packed with everything needed. Breakfast is included and there is a pretty nice spot on the first floor where it’s surved. The variety of food and its condition is good. There was no window view in our room but still we had an artificial view which looks accurate. Near the reservation desk you can treat yourself with the cookies and tea.

My overall experience at the Sofitel Guangzhou was really great this time, and I genuinely recommend staying here. Mia, the manager at the front desk, was very friendly and efficient with check-in. She was also very patient when answering any questions I had. The room was spotlessly clean, with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft. The soundproofing at night was excellent, allowing for a good night's rest. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the hot water came on quickly, and the toiletries were well-stocked. The hotel's location is very convenient; you don't have to walk far to find places to eat or shop. The only minor drawback was that the internet speed in the room was a bit slow, causing buffering when watching videos, but other than that, there were no complaints. Overall, it offers good value for money, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area. Having stayed in many hotels, the reassuring comfort of a long-established hotel is irreplaceable. Does anyone else understand this feeling? While luxurious star-rated hotels are comfortable and stylish, the solid, dependable feel of an older hotel is still uniquely irreplaceable. As long as it's clean, spacious, and fully functional, I still prefer older hotels.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to UpperHills and Bijia Mountain Park. The room size is decent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views. Breakfast variety is acceptable, with most essentials covered. Overall, the hotel service is quite good, but the breakfast restaurant service is very average. The biggest rip-off, though, is the hotel's spa. It's overpriced and the massage technique is terrible. I'd say it's the worst spa experience I've had at a five-star hotel! I felt like I was completely ripped off! A total waste of time, I hope everyone avoids it.

GGuest UserFive-star rating! The hotel's flow, public areas, and room design are absolutely fantastic. So many thoughtful little details. The spatial design is miles ahead, on par with the Peninsula Shanghai, and incredibly user-friendly. The gym is huge and fully equipped; I didn't get a chance to use the pool. The lobby bar is a very comfortable spot to relax. All the staff are cheerful, and the service is incredibly attentive – plus, all the ladies are beautiful! Breakfast and the Guang Yu Xuan restaurant are up to the standard of a luxury hotel. Overall, the the hardware is superb, truly top-tier in China. The service has that distinctive Rosewood elegance, and the food is standard, nothing particularly outstanding.

GGuest UserI specifically came here to celebrate my birthday. I communicated with the hotel in advance about wanting the room decorated, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful. They helped set up the room with a wonderful ambiance beforehand and even surprised me with a delicate little cake! It was an absolute delight. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the facilities were complete and worked perfectly. The guest service by Lumina was gentle and attentive, handling everything very efficiently. It's a quiet and peaceful place, perfect for a romantic getaway, and the location is convenient for getting around and dining. This birthday experience far exceeded my expectations; it was romantic and hassle-free. It's my top choice for couples, and I'll definitely be back for future special occasions. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI recently took my child on a family trip to Guangzhou, and staying at the Guangzhou Yazhi Hotel made the entire journey wonderfully surprising. From the room with stunning views and thoughtful meal benefits to the meticulous and attentive butler service, our whole family had a perfect experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Guangzhou. The hotel's front desk is on the 28th floor, offering what I can only describe as the hotel's 'ace' highlight – an unobstructed panoramic view of the city. Right in front is the iconic Canton Tower, affectionately known as the 'Little Waist,' with its intricate and unique lines, and the city lights stretching as far as the eye can see. My child was always glued to the floor-to-ceiling window, exclaiming and pointing at the Canton Tower's lights, and excitedly asking questions about the boats on the river and the tall buildings. The room has excellent natural light, filling the entire space during the day. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the view, was incredibly relaxing. During our stay, the hotel thoughtfully provided complimentary afternoon tea and late-night snacks, showcasing their sincerity in culinary details. The afternoon tea set in the afternoon was exquisitely presented and incredibly diverse, featuring soft Western-style cakes, refreshing small pastries, crispy savory snacks, paired with freshly cut seasonal fruits that were sweet, juicy, and fresh, along with drinks. The portions were generous, enough for both adults and children. Our family of three sat by the window, admiring the distant view of the Canton Tower while leisurely enjoying afternoon tea. It was both relaxing and therapeutic, perfectly setting the vacation mood. The atmosphere was simply fantastic, and my child absolutely loved it, insisting on coming back next time. In the evening, warm late-night snacks were also served, with comforting porridge and specialty dishes that were warm and palatable. After exploring nearby attractions, returning to the room and enjoying a hot late-night meal was both warming and comforting. The complimentary meals were not at all perfunctory and the portions were substantial, far exceeding the service standards of hotels in the same category. Halfway through our stay, a minor issue arose in the room. We immediately contacted Butler Season (number 3), who was the most commendable staff member during our stay. Season responded promptly and came to check the problem within moments. She was gentle and humble, patiently listened to our concerns, and then clearly and efficiently resolved the issue. Her professional ability to resolve problems quickly and satisfactorily was truly impressive. After handling the matter, upon learning that we were traveling with a child, she proactively recommended child-friendly places to visit around the hotel, authentic Cantonese restaurants, and nearby leisure shopping areas. She even meticulously provided walking routes, tips to avoid pitfalls, and activities suitable for children, saving us the trouble of planning everything ourselves. Following the butler's recommendations, we easily visited Huacheng Square and Haixinsha. We could also walk to Tiande Plaza for food, covering dining, entertainment, and shopping all in one go. Downstairs, at IGC Tianhui Plaza, there's Qingchun Pumen, which offers light and healthy options, perfect for dining with kids. A short walk led us to Dian Dou De at Utopa for dim sum, where the shrimp dumplings, red rice rolls, and children's meals were soft and not spicy, much loved by our child. For authentic home-style Cantonese cuisine, Chang Lai Xiao Ju at Gaode Land offers braised goose and claypot rice that are comforting and good value. For a classic teahouse experience, Tao Tao Ju's roasted goose and milk pineapple buns were a family favorite. In the evening, after strolling through Huacheng Square and Haixinsha to see the Canton Tower's night view, Xing Sheng Road and Tiande Plaza offered a variety of congee, noodles, and sweet soup for late-night snacks, available anytime. Throughout the trip, my child fell in love with the Canton Tower's night view from the 28th floor and raved about the hotel's afternoon tea and late-night snacks. As we left, he kept looking back at the 'Little Waist' outside the window. The excellent viewing location, thoughtful complimentary meals, and Butler 3's meticulous and high-quality service created an impeccable stay. The Yazhi Hotel will definitely be our first choice for future trips to Guangzhou, ensuring a worry-free and delightful experience.

112131513This was my second stay. The first time, I arrived late at night and didn't get to see the view, but I was quite satisfied with the room and amenities, which prompted this return visit. The room and facilities like the pool are still pretty good, and the view is nice too. However, there was a power outage at the hotel at night! I wasn't informed about this before checking in; the front desk only told me about it when I arrived, asking if I still wanted to proceed with check-in. I asked my friend, who said it would be a shame to have come all this way for nothing, so we decided to stay. Around midnight, the power went out, and I was woken up by a beeping sound coming from who knows where. I tried to call the front desk to ask what was going on, but the phone kept showing 'busy.' I thought about going downstairs to find the front desk, but not only were the elevators out, even the emergency exit lights were off… I didn't sleep well all night, and the hotel didn't offer any compensation. Well, that's it then; there won't be a next time.
