The breakfast was good but there is NO air conditioning in the room. It was so hot that I could not get sleep. But even more annoying: There were 5 houseflies in my room! They interrupted my peace - I will never forget this bad experience. I will not come back.

In the
Checkin was not available for my reservation. However, it was cleared during the stay. The hotel is located directly on the Lake Maschinen of Hannover and even a little holiday feeling comes on the breakfast on the window.

The subway entrance is right at the door, which is really convenient. The hotel is good in all aspects and the price is right. It may be the most cost-effective in this area. There is also a sauna and a gym. If you come to Hannover next time, this is the first choice. Rewe and Rossmann are opposite

Für den Winter ist das Nordseehotel Freese empfehlenswert. Mit einem umfangreichen Frühstück lässt sich der Tag starten. Vielleicht mag manch einer vorher schon schwimmend den Tag beginnen und ab nachmittags in die Sauna. Die Ausstattung erinnert an schon bessere Zeiten des Hotels. Die Putzcrew sowie das Servicepersonal versuchen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen und die gute Laune zu behalten, auch wenn Fährzeiten sich fast täglich ändern oder gar ausfallen. Es gibt eine urige Bar und ein abendliches 3-Gänge-Menü täglich anders zusammengestellt. In der Hausbibliothek lässt sich die Zeit beim Warten auf die Fähre oder vom Eis befreite Gehwege vergessen. Auf dem Zimmer hätte es wärmer sein können, doch bei den eisigen Temperaturen kam diese nicht hinterher. So war Sauna abends eine Möglichkeit oder sich zeitig ins Bett einzumummeln zum Aufwärmen.

Great hotel, the friendliness of staff and service was of first class. Rich, fresh and delicious breakfast buffet. The rooms are equipped top, cleanliness 1A and parking right in front of the door. Price-performance ratio excellent.

GGuest UserThis hotel located around 400 meters away from main station. The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, also kind of relaxing which is nice and quiet. The room designed is modern and there is full window which allows you to open fully and enjoy the fresh air from the garden.
The breakfast buffet is rich and tasty as Holiday Inn standard everywhere. I’m happy with the stay in.

Unfortunately, this time we had to see that the establishment like the house has really come into the years.
Seats where the connection was very clearly broken or the bed layer was sliced or coloured.
The carpet is bleak in the river. Breakfast is no longer as it has been.
We like the hotel and would probably come back anyway

GGuest UserThe location is simply superb. The beds are just beautiful to sleep. The service staff gives everything. The piano player on Friday & Saturday was really good.
The hotel had better times.
No Wi-Fi available. Telecom Internet connection: ”E” with a bar.
Breakfast: not enough egg cups for all - insufficient number of cups for latte Macchiato (no there, or backstaking at washing?), failure of the two full coffee machines, failure of the hot water Samowar. Overview number of snacks in the glass (only the first 10 people received something and it was not filled).
Repair pad in the bathroom, and defect WC cover that was temporarily sticked with tape. Destroyed equipment, you can only imagine what was hanging there once.
Sorry, for these night prices I had expected that at least WiFi or at least coffee and egg cups would have been available for the number of rooms booked.

MMierswaIt’s a good hotel regarding location and convenience. If you look for a more traditional/historical style one you will find in the old downtown. Parking is convenient in the neighboring garage, but against additional 10EUR parking fee for 24h.
