"After staying at so many hotels, this one truly, truly, truly offers incredible value for money. The lady at the front desk was so, so, so enthusiastic; she greeted me with a smile before I even spoke, instantly chasing away my travel fatigue. The room was more spacious than I expected, with minimalist and modern decor, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered a nice view. The bedding even had a faint scent of sunshine, which was a huge plus. The most pleasant surprise was how well the bathroom drain worked; the water flowed down without any issues, which is a godsend for anyone who hates standing water. The location is also very convenient, with a night market just outside, making it really pleasant to buy late-night snacks and bring them back to eat. When checking out, they even proactively offered bottled water for the road. It’s these thoughtful, unforced small details that truly impress me. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

The Wuhan Xinhua Hotel is centrally located in Hankou, the city's dynamic business and financial district, right next door to the New World Department Store. Major scenic spots such as Guiyuan Temple and the Yellow Crane Tower are only a 20-minute drive away.This Wuhan hotel boasts a variety of rooms and suites, all equipped with broadband Internet access, mini bars, satellite TVs and in-room safes.The hotel's dining options appeal to a variety of tastes with its Fu Man Lou Chinese restaurant and Fuego's Brasserie offering Brazilian barbecue. The Le Rendezvous lobby lounge and delicatessen offers a range of breads, pastries and overseas delicacies.  There are also five meeting rooms, the largest of which holds up to 280 people. For recreation, there is a fitness center, indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, KTV rooms, massage treatments, saunas and a steam room. All guests can enjoy free access to the fitness room and indoor pool.

"The lobby is grand, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The bathroom fixtures are all branded. The service attitude is exceptionally good; a bellhop helped with our luggage as soon as the taxi arrived, and the front desk staff was very welcoming. They provided several drinks in the minibar, and a 100 RMB voucher for a hydrating spa treatment (which I didn't get to use due to time constraints). There was also a Didi ride-hailing discount voucher (starting from 50% off), all of which were excellent. I highly recommend staying here."

The room hygiene was meticulously maintained, with corners thoroughly cleaned, and the bedding was neat and fresh. The bathroom was odor-free, and the dining area of the restaurant was consistently spotless. The overall environment was grand and elegant, and the guest rooms were well soundproofed, offering a quiet and comfortable stay. The buffet restaurant was spacious and had a great ambiance. The staff were enthusiastic and professional. Check-in was efficient, and the restaurant staff promptly cleared tables and refilled water, providing attentive service. The hotel facilities were well-maintained; the Sweet Dreams bed was very comfortable, hot water and Wi-Fi were smooth, and the swimming pool and gym were well-equipped. The buffet dinner featured fresh ingredients, with a wide variety of seafood and freshly grilled meats. There was also a good selection of hot dishes and desserts, all tasting excellent. It was a fantastic dining experience, and overall, everything was outstanding. A female supervisor with long hair provided excellent service, proactively checking in with guests. I highly recommend staying here.

The Ritz-Carlton, Wuhan

I blindly booked an Executive Skyview King Room at the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan for three days and two nights. Then, on May 30th, thanks to being unable to pay for an upgrade at a former top-tier luxury hotel, I unhesitatingly extended my stay at the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan for another five days and four nights. This allowed me to have an incredibly pleasant May Day 'Staycation' during my brief eight-day visit to Wuhan. Before checking in, I received a pre-arrival call from Camellia, the Executive Lounge Supervisor, and multiple contacts on the day of my arrival. She came downstairs to greet me, proactively informed me about changes in the weather, and after check-in, arranged for an upgrade and informed me of dinner times. Because she noticed my voice was slightly hoarse during the pre-arrival call, she thoughtfully prepared rock sugar stewed pear (P4), which was served during dinner at the Executive Lounge. This genuinely impressed me, a frequent traveler who often calls hotels home due to work, even though it wasn't my first time in Wuhan but my first stay at a newly opened hotel. Over the next two days, whether it was the three daily meals (the executive five meals in this 'Carb Capital' luxury hotel were truly more than a normal person could handle! So good! 👍) or every aspect of housekeeping and daily life, especially the 'hidden menu' six-course breakfast (P5-P10) specially prepared by Executive Lounge Manager Angus during breakfast on the second day – it was full of surprises with not a single misstep. I'd even suggest that those with smaller appetites might consider ordering à la carte, because if you eat it all, you'll find that besides feeling 'carb-ed out,' you might not even be able to enjoy a pleasant afternoon or a rich dinner. 🧸 Don't ask me how I know! During my eight-day stay, almost every day was filled with joy, happiness, and, of course, various delicious foods and wines. 🥂 As a friend who moved from a former top-tier luxury hotel in Wuhan to the Ritz-Carlton on May Day said, 'It's rare to see me stay in one hotel for so long' (due to my allergies, I have high demands for food and lodging). But indeed, since checking in on April 27th, for someone who usually works late and doesn't sleep until after midnight, being able to fall asleep punctually at 10:30 PM every night was something I couldn't even imagine myself doing. As for the food, whether it was Chinese or Western Xiangyang beef noodles, tomato meat sauce pasta, crayfish cold noodles, Australian beef and lamb chops, pan-fried cod and salmon, abalone braised pork, creamy pumpkin soup, mushroom cream soup, cordyceps old chicken/duck soup, or even daily freshly squeezed cucumber juice and golden passion fruit – there was such a variety of dishes and desserts, from breakfast to dinner, that I didn't even have time to try them all. And let's not forget the cocktails made by Ari and Carah! 🍸 So, taking this opportunity to review my order, I must express my gratitude to the Executive Lounge team: Angus, Camellia, Carah, Ari, May, Freya, and Alina; Chef Yuuki, Kenny, and Chef Gong Feng (whose English name I don't know); Lumi, the supervisor of the lobby cafe; the super lovely Aunt Liu Yuping, who was responsible for daily room cleaning; and the super careful and honest Master Li, the hotel's chauffeur! Thank you all for your professional service and customer-first attitude, which made the Ritz-Carlton Wuhan my top choice for a staycation along the Yangtze River in the magnificent city of Wuhan. See you next time in Wuhan!

This time I took the time to visit Wuhan. I went to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, the river beach and the Yellow Crane Tower. Although the weather in Wuhan was very hot and tiring, it was still very rewarding! This time I chose Wuhan Zhuankou Sports Center Fengdu Hotel. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was hit by the fragrance. The lobby is full of decoration and has a metallic texture. The young brothers and sisters at the front desk were also very friendly. They were polite, took the initiative to help carry their luggage, and helped arrange a room near Taizi Lake. The rooms are large in size, all are voice-controlled, and songs can be played in the room. It feels like the room is full of technology! I highly recommend everyone to visit Wuhan, and I also recommend you to choose Fengdu Hotel in Zhuankou, Wuhan! ! !

This is for our second night, and I wanted to add a few more details: 1. When the housekeeping staff cleaned our room, they noticed we used the table for drinks on the first night and replenished a box of tissues on the table, which wasn't there originally. 2. The housekeeper helped my girlfriend find her lost hairpin, even though we hadn't mentioned it beforehand. It's clear they clean very thoroughly, and they even folded our messy clothes. The housekeeper really deserves a commendation! 3. The turndown service was also good, and it's a nice touch that the hotel provides steam eye masks. 4. One point I missed in my last review that I'm adding here: I'm really curious why a hotel that opened in December 2019 is still using towels all manufactured in June 2019, with no replacements whatsoever. Personally, I don't think even my own towels would last seven years, let alone those used by rotating guests... There are quite a few things to complain about, but it's still pretty good value for money, and the afternoon tea is very photogenic. However, the hotel seems to put a lot of effort into the public areas, and the guest rooms really need more attention.

I'm a light sleeper, and the front desk was kind enough to upgrade me to an executive room. There were even some welcome snacks in the room. It was raining continuously in Wuhan during my stay, so I ended up spending most of my time at the hotel. The overall room design was well-thought-out, and the bathroom area was spacious, with a bathtub offering a direct view of the high-rise cityscape. The pool and gym weren't crowded, which was very comfortable. Although it's not in the city center, there are plenty of dining options, including a pretty good Cai Lin Ji hot dry noodle place nearby. The only minor issue was that I put out the sign for a second housekeeping service during dinner, but no one came. Perhaps I needed to call.

This hotel is truly fantastic! Even though I arrived early, well before check-in time, the front desk allowed me to check in right away. The front desk staff provided excellent and swift service, and they also informed me about some of the hotel's additional services. The room was comfortable and clean, with all the facilities and amenities well-equipped. The airport transfer service was also great; perhaps because it's Chinese New Year's Eve, the boss himself drove us to the airport in a Mercedes-Benz!

The Hilton Optics Valley Hotel offered a truly perfect experience! Nestled by Yanxi Lake, my lake view room was spacious and spotless, with stunning views of the lake and trees right outside the window. The custom Hilton bedding was so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of bed. The turndown service and thoughtful amenities really showed attention to detail. Breakfast was incredibly generous, featuring a full spread of Wuhan specialties like hot dry noodles and lotus root soup, and the freshly made omelets at the live station were cooked to perfection. Aria provided warm and attentive service, and the front desk handled check-in efficiently and quickly, responding promptly to all requests. With complimentary parking, high-speed WiFi, and a 24-hour fitness center, the hotel is perfectly equipped for both family vacations and business trips.

The hotel's facilities definitely don't feel five-star from a hardware perspective; the bathroom floor was quite run down. The room's cleanliness also fell short of a five-star standard. Compared to other Hyatt hotels I've stayed at in other cities, there's a noticeable gap, and my experience was quite disappointing, especially compared to previous Hyatt stays.

I spent a long time choosing a hotel and wasn't sure where to stay, but this one looked pretty good in the end. When I first checked in, there was nothing particularly special about it. No one guided me to my room, and no one helped with my luggage. The room felt a bit dated, though it did offer views of two bridges in Wuhan. There weren't any smart amenities. They had a delivery robot for room service, but it was incredibly slow. I had also contacted them in advance to prepare children's amenities, but they weren't set up upon arrival. The breakfast variety and taste were just average. The swimming pool was decent, and the views from there were indeed incredible, no complaints about that. Overall, I felt like many aspects fell short of five-star standards. There was one minor hiccup during my stay, but the guest services manager, Ashley, deserves praise for her excellent attitude and how she handled the situation.
