"Entered the hotel to an absolutely wonderful lobby. To the right was a terrific bar that also serves cake and hot beverages. Our room was on the top floor - the executive floor. This gave us access to their lounge which was a great addition. It gave us a place to relax when inside the hotel with some snacks and beverages. I also very much enjoyed the massage chair in my room!  Finally, well stocked buffet for breakfast. Options are limited for “western “ foods but plenty of other options. Great stay!!"

"Fairmont Wuhan was a pleasant surprise. Upon check-in at 12 PM, our room was already ready, which truly sets it apart from other hotels in its class! Early check-ins are quite rare in China these days; usually, we're just happy if there isn't a delay. The lady at the front desk also kindly offered complimentary children's breakfasts for our two kids, which we especially appreciated! The room was very well-appointed, and I especially loved the vanity table in the separate walk-in closet – it was perfect for us. The breakfast spread was ample, offering everything one could wish for, including some local Wuhan specialties. The Re Gan Mian (hot dry noodles) was indeed very authentic. The apricot pastry at breakfast was very similar to what I used to have at Paul's in France, bringing back a flood of memories. Our older child thoroughly enjoyed the pool, having such a great time swimming that they were reluctant to leave even as check-out time approached. Every staff member at the hotel was warm and friendly, making our stay truly delightful. Without a doubt, we will choose Fairmont again on our next visit to Wuhan."

"Overall a good hotel with views, but location is not very good if you want to explore the city. Beds could be more comfortable. Swimming Pool not very cosy and people from houses nearby can look directly into the pool area of the hotel."

"This was my first time staying at the Marco Polo Hotel. The location is superb, right next to the Hankou Riverfront. We had initially booked a city view room for two nights, but the view wasn't ideal. A staff member then showed us a river view room, and we upgraded to a partial river view room, which had a fantastic view. The room was well-appointed and very quiet. The toiletries were excellent, and the first mini-bar was complimentary, offering a good selection of beverages. Upon check-out, we left our luggage with the concierge. The staff were very attentive and even gave us a small gift, which was a thoughtful touch. Thank you! Executive Lounge Experience: The service at the executive lounge was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Enjoying the river view and light show from the lounge was a wonderful experience. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the glassware designs were nice, and there was a good selection of drinks. The only issue I encountered was with the executive lounge breakfast service. Unlike other hotel executive lounges where staff proactively take orders from a menu, here I consistently had to ask for the menu myself. Furthermore, the dishes often didn't match their descriptions. For instance, the teriyaki salmon was listed with hash browns but was served without them. The waffles also had inconsistencies, sometimes missing fresh banana slices or syrup. The portion sizes were also inconsistent; one time we received four pieces, and the next time only two. I hope these aspects can be improved. Another minor inconvenience was with taxis. On several occasions, drivers stopped by the roadside and couldn't reach the hotel lobby, citing the navigation system's endpoint. Unless explicitly instructed to drive further, it was a hit-or-miss whether they would go all the way to the hotel entrance, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, the experience was quite pleasant, and I would definitely consider staying here again!"

"The hotel lobby was absolutely stunning—grand and beautifully designed, creating a luxurious first impression. It truly set the tone for a high-end experience.  However, the dining options at both the lunch and dinner restaurants felt somewhat limited. While the food quality was good, the menus could benefit from more variety to cater to different tastes and preferences.  Overall, the stay was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was top-notch. With a few more dining options, this hotel would be perfect! Highly recommend for a luxurious getaway."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location. Rooms are comfortable and well soundproofed, featuring high-quality bedding. Breakfast is plentiful, and the overall dining quality meets expectations. Facilities like the gym and pool are well-maintained. Room, dining, and concierge services were all top-notch. However, the primary drawback was the front desk service. During check-in, the staff were noticeably cold and indifferent, lacking basic warmth and eye contact. Their communication felt robotic and stiff, with no proactive guidance offered (e.g., breakfast times or location). The entire interaction felt like a cold transaction, completely devoid of the welcoming 'home away from home' feeling one expects from a five-star hotel. As the hotel's 'face,' the front desk service severely let the establishment down and was the biggest detractor from an otherwise good experience."

"My family’s stay at the Hilton Wuhan Riverside hotel was very pleasant and enjoyable. The staff, from receptionist, to aiyi’s, to the servers at breakfast, were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well kept; the temperature of the room was ok and could be adjusted; the breakfast had an ok selection. I would come here again with my family."

"We stayed for a total of six nights. The first night, we felt that the room air-con was not cold enough and we asked for another room which was granted. A fan and a Wi-Fi router were even supplied to us. All in all… it was pleasant throughout. The front office were very friendly and helpful. Should we visit Wuhan again in the future, we will definitely stay in this hotel."
