The hotel also has Mao Zedong's former residence, which you can visit for free. There's a tour with commentary once in the morning and once in the afternoon."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right at the entrance of Li Huangpi Road Pedestrian Street. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and small bars nearby, and it's only a 5-minute walk to Baghazi House. The black and white themed room is very stylish, and the mattress and pillows are excellent – just the right firmness for a comfortable sleep. The room was perfectly quiet, with no noise, probably because it used to be a bank vault with meter-thick floors, haha. The heating inside was great; I could even wear a t-shirt in the evening. The seventh floor houses the front desk and a riverside bar that's open until 2 AM. I tried one of their special cocktails, and it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented! On the first floor, there's a restaurant where you can enjoy some lovely Hubei dishes."

The breakfast was buffet with acceptable quality and variety. It was also very good that there were local restaurants / shops / 24 hour convenient store nearby ! It would be a good pick if travelers plan to attend concerts / functions at the Wuhan Sports Center."

"This is hands down the most luxurious Days Inn I've ever stayed at, worldwide. The giant jade carving wall in the lobby makes you feel like you've walked into a Wyndham Grand, and can you believe the guest room hallways have leather wall panels? The room size is generous, and the bathroom has a double-entry design, giving it a suite-like feel. Aside from the lack of a mini-fridge and a bathtub, it genuinely feels like a luxury brand hotel. My only minor criticisms are that the carpet and sofa cleaning and maintenance could be improved, but everything else is impeccable. Oh, and the gym facilities are quite basic, but then again, for a Days Inn, all of this is already far beyond their standard offerings. All in all, this is undoubtedly the best value choice near Hankou Station. Highly recommended!"
