GGuest UserThe location is great and convenient especially for us who booked the day tours and it’s 4-5min walk to bus stop 4.
Especially the receptionist Rica is really kind and helpful and she generously offered us an upgraded.
And we do appreciate the CNY greetings both from the reception but also for the card with orange. Also as my hubby’s birthday is during the stay, I asked months before if birthday decorations is available and eventually got a birthday cake and a card but with wrong name lol
The facility (needs to turn off the lights one by one instead of all-in-one) and hygine situation is not that good in terms of the 5-star hotel. (Hair in the sheet cover and the toilet)(no clean up for the desserts)
The tides restaurant and cafe is good and worth trying with ISK 7000 credit for the restaurant.
No chance to try the spa.

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with this hotel! First off, the staff were all very polite and friendly. Also, before checking into this hotel, we had just finished an 8-day, 7-night island tour. Since there were luggage size restrictions on the tour, it was a huge relief that this hotel allowed us to store some of our luggage while we were away.
Upon entering the room, the facilities were even better than expected. There was plenty of space to put our belongings and hang clothes. The lotion provided was also very useful, especially given how dry it can be in the room.
I will definitely book this hotel again if I come back to Iceland!

The front desk staff were excellent; check-in and check-out were efficient, and communication was smooth, making them feel both professional and attentive. My room was spotless and quite spacious, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The attention to cleanliness details made me feel very secure and at ease. The hotel breakfast is also commendable, with a wide variety of fresh options that perfectly met my dining needs during the trip. While not in the absolute city center, the location is still convenient for getting around, and the quiet surroundings are ideal for a good rest. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, providing a consistent and reliable stay. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, you'll experience excellent service and quality here. All in all, this hotel offers a great combination of comfort, service, and brand assurance. My entire stay was pleasant and effortless, making it a highly recommended and quality accommodation option when visiting Reykjavik.

MMassimo SignoreThe hotel sits on a street corner, with easy access to the city centre and a nice view of the harbour. Clean and warm, with enjoyable breakfast. The sauna and relaxation areas are not huge, but offer a nice opportunity to unwind after a long day out in the cold weather. The staff are friendly and happy to help with eating suggestions and deals available. I would definitely go back in the future.

GGuest UserI checked in at 2 a.m. at night. I'd mentioned it in an email, but that wasn't necessary because the front desk is open 24 hours. I was checked in very quickly. The room was spacious, but even if it's a four-star, it doesn't feel up to European standards. The room was actually quite good. Large, well-designed, and had a comfortable mattress. I saw someone else's hair on a throw pillow, which was a bit of a bummer. Overall, it was fine. Would I choose this hotel next time? If I had other options I've stayed in in Reykjavik, I'd choose them. But only because the rooms in this hotel actually look older.

Tthe solo traveler 3it was very nice overall. the shower had a great water pressure, the shower booth was very roomy and it had a swing door that helped from the water going everywhere. the bathroom itself was big and very clean. i got daily bottled water which was nice, and the tab water tasted great too. there was no view from my room window, because it was facing inside the building. i could see the other rooms’ windows but hardly a piece of sky. the coffee and tea options in the room was good. the bed was very comfortable. sheats were crispy clean. really nice tv, too. and the location was great. the bus station #1 is like 2 minutes away, which seemed like the biggest tourist pickup location in Reykjavík for many day tours.

GGuest UserReally good location, near the city centre area and the service is awesome. Super friendly service staff and bar tender. Hotel looks great and the rooms are clean.
Just take note some of their rooms at the top floor has the constraints of the roof where the ceiling is slanted, you may knock your head like i did. And the lighting can be quite dim. Other than that, great room great hotel great place.
