I took the train from Manhattan to Waterbury. After getting off the train, I walked along Grand Avenue for about a few minutes to the hotel. I came alone to attend my child's graduation ceremony, and I didn't have high requirements in all aspects, so the Marriott hotel fully met my needs. Because of the language barrier, some issues were communicated through Ctrip customer service. I felt that Ctrip's butler service was timely and effective, and I was satisfied.

Overall, it’s okay, that is, there are fewer seats for breakfast on site, and there are fewer varieties of breakfast. The deposit on the spot is a bit high, USD100, it's been almost a month, and it hasn't been refunded yet. The room is okay, that is, the wardrobe is hidden behind the mirror, the bathroom is facing the mirror, the bed is facing the bathroom and the mirror, and the pattern is weird.

5pm check in? Really? Pool closed and a $28 resort fee charge? When I asked about it I was told for parking, yet parking is FREE. What a scam.

If this place made some renovations this would be the best hotel in Stamford but it’s a quality place for a good price in the area.

Thus is my 3rd trip to Foxwoods for dance competitions. It’s huge, appropriately staffed, clean and able to host family, adult and ******** activity all at once. Foxwoods had good dining options for fine dining, family dining and quick bites.

Wish the weather was nicer but excellent service and great place for a girls trip!

Excellent stay! The hotel was clean, modern, and had great amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Perfect location—close to attractions and dining. Breakfast was delicious with good variety. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. 5/5 stars!”
