Yamamoto Pavilion is the private residence of Mr. Yamamoto Ryoji-jio, founder of Yamamoto Factory (camera parts manufacturer) with local roots. After the Kanto earthquake, it moved from Asakusa to this place, and the Yamamoto family lived in it for four generations, and in Showa 163 (1988), Ge Shi District bought it and opened it to the public in April of Pingcheng 3 (1991). The mountain pavilion is a two-story wooden structure on the corrugated roof, covering an area of 400 square meters on the first floor, and 50 square meters on the second floor. It has a basement, warehouse and long house gate, etc. It has formed the present appearance after many additions and renovations during the 15 years of Dazheng (1927) to Showa 15 years (1930). The garden is both East and West style, the architecture combines the traditional academy style and the style of Western architecture, the pure and wind garden and the Western garden are perfectly reconciled, and its precious cultural property value is not only widely praised in China, but also highly praised overseas.
