Guest UserI spent a long time choosing this hotel on the platform before my trip to Melbourne. The listing mentioned it was a new opening in December 2025, and the location looked fantastic – right next to Queen Victoria Market with tram stops just downstairs, making it super easy to get to all the attractions.
I was in Room 506. However, after checking in, I noticed two lights in the room weren't working, as shown in the picture. Since there's no main ceiling light, my friend and I had to rely on just one corridor light, three small desk lamps, and natural light from the window to get around the room. This made putting on makeup really inconvenient. The bathroom lighting was also quite warm-toned, and it felt a bit cramped with both of us trying to get ready in there.
The bedding was clean, which was good. But, we found leftover paper scraps from the previous guest in the rubbish bin, and there was even some product packaging left in the storage cabinet near the entrance.
The hotel appears to be a renovation, as the air conditioning control panel was yellowed and looked quite old.
It's worth noting this isn't a traditional hotel; it's a serviced apartment. I've previously stayed at serviced apartments from brands like Stey and Habyt on short-term rentals, and based on this experience, I feel lyf still has a lot of room for improvement.

Guest UserI stayed at the Park Hyatt Melbourne on my solo trip and was very satisfied with the overall experience. The room was spacious and quiet, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The bedding was comfortable, leading to a great night's sleep. The hotel environment is elegant, and the location is quite convenient, with a luxurious ambiance throughout. The staff were professional and polite; both check-in and check-out were very smooth. The facilities are well-maintained, making for a relaxing stay. It exceeded my expectations overall, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in Melbourne.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is really good. It's super convenient to get to the hotel from the terminal. The room size is good for unpack & repack your stuff for the trip.
Since we didn't have breakfast included in the booking. There are 2 choices for the breakfast: 1. Hotel's breakfast for 35AUD/person 2. Deli cafe. We had a sandwich & muffin there. It's quick and easy to get ready in the morning.

Need to check in on the 2nd floor.
Location: It's on a very narrow street with a small sign, but it's close to Chinatown which is quite convenient. Downstairs, there's a Chinese noodle restaurant that accepts WeChat Pay, and also a cafe.
Cleanliness: Overall, it's quite new. There are no toothbrushes or slippers, and the room isn't big, but it's fine for one person. It's cleaned daily.
The sink, toilet, and shower are all separate. There's a kettle, but no bottled water; you need to go to the 2nd floor to get water.
I stayed on the 24th floor, the elevator is fast, and the night view from the window is nice.

This is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.

PARAS RABRAWarm welcome by receptionist. Awesome service. Quality and service at par excellence. Very much near to train stations.
The Best Western was perfectly fine for my one-night business trip to Melbourne—clean enough and very well-located. My only real complaint is that basic amenities were missing; there was no toothpaste or bottled water in the room. It didn't ruin my stay, but adding these simple comforts would go a long way for short-stay guests.

Anonymous UserThe hotel's hygiene is excellent, and the lobby is spacious and bright. There are plenty of elevators, so even during peak hours, you don't wait long. The rooms are also spacious with beautiful window views; one side should offer a clear view of the river connecting the North and South banks, perfect for watching New Year's fireworks. Housekeeping is arranged from the third day of your stay, and they do a thorough and clean job. Overall, I'm very satisfied, although the location is a bit far from the CBD and Melbourne's main attractions. However, once you cross to the North Bank, you're not far from the tram free zone, which makes up for it. 👍👍👍

Guest UserThis hotel deserves a five-star review! I wish I had stayed at the Sheraton for my entire trip to Melbourne. It's in the city center, which is incredibly convenient, and even late at night, around 8-9 PM, there are still plenty of people around, making it feel very safe. When I checked in, there was a Chinese-speaking staff member available. Although the person who actually checked me in was of Indian descent, a Chinese colleague came over to make sure everything was alright before leaving. They even offered me a complimentary glass of champagne! The hotel room was spacious and clean, definitely the best I've stayed in during my past two weeks in Sydney and Melbourne. It certainly lived up to expectations!
Right outside the hotel, there's a Rolex store, and if you walk down the street, you'll find the Town Hall and a church. There are plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping. It's also not far from Australia's famous WWL? Or was it WWs?

Guest UserMy stay here was excellent! The front desk staff were very responsive, and my room was spotless with no odd smells. The bedding was super comfortable. I was really impressed with the soundproofing – it was so quiet! The shower had great water pressure too. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the service staff were all very friendly. The only minor downside was that the gym had limited equipment. Overall, it's great value for money and I'd highly recommend it for business travelers.
