Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

The hotel is great and the accommodation experience is superb. A family of three came to Liuzhou and chose Radisson after comparing several hotels. I was not disappointed. The location is excellent and it is very close to the ancient town. You can see it through the window of the room, and you can also see part of Liujiang River. The hotel facilities are also very complete, with a swimming pool and laundry room. If it is too hot in the afternoon, you can swim and wait for the sun to set to visit the ancient town directly. Next time I come to Liuzhou, I will consider Radisson again.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and bright, with complete and modern facilities. The staff were friendly and efficient, always meeting our needs promptly, especially Pink Joyce Moon Freya Chole from the service center who gave a complimentary breakfast to our child. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and a wide variety of dining options nearby. Overall, this hotel earned my high praise for its quality service and comfortable accommodations, and I highly recommend it to travelers seeking a premium stay.

The hotel looks good in photo but less so in person. The view is as advertised, but the interior detailing in the hotel room is not up to the standard of a premium hotel. The condition of the pools and some of the other amenities in the hotel remind me of an abandoned water park. The hotel has 8 buildings. The room you book is likely not the one you saw on social media. Your experience with the room may vary depending in the building you are in. The hotel location is also a bit out of the way. Fortunately there is complementary shuttle service and paid scooter rental. Overall, it was still a good experience (because of the view). We were just a bit disappointed with the room condition.

The rooms were clean and comfortable for families. The kids' play area was spacious, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant and quiet. Located within the Yulong River Park, the scenery was picturesque and vibrant, especially in spring. The service was attentive and genuinely warm, not forced at all. Communication with the front desk via WeChat was prompt, and they did their best to accommodate all our requests, including a late check-out, which was very much appreciated. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel is new and the service is excellent. It's very convenient, and they even thoughtfully provided disposable bath bags and toilet seat covers. Downstairs, you're right by the river, and next to a night market with street food and a pedestrian street. You absolutely have to try the complimentary wheat bran hair wash – it seems to be a specialty of Liuzhou, with hair salons everywhere. I paid extra for the family combo, which was incredibly comfortable and great value for money. The travel photos turned out amazing, highly recommended! The family room was on the 2nd floor. I thought for such a high price, we'd get a higher floor with a river view, but the upside was that the kids' ball pit was right outside the door, and my child had a fantastic time. The floor-to-ceiling windows at the 12th-floor bar and the outdoor balcony at the 13th-floor restaurant offer a great view of the musical fountain at night, helping you avoid the crowds downstairs. The only downside is that the hotel gets busy, and the restaurant is a bit small, so there were no tables available during breakfast peak hours. If I get the chance to visit Liuzhou again, I'll definitely stay at the Wyndham.

A Perfect, Peaceful Stay with Amazingly Helpful Staff. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It's located in a quiet part of Yangshuo, which was perfect for us—peaceful yet still convenient. The hotel itself is very clean and neat. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the rooftop terrace, which has a really amazing view. Next time, we'll book a balcony room for sure! What truly set this hotel apart was the staff. They are incredibly helpful and do their utmost to communicate and solve any issues. Their standout moment was helping us arrange a private car during the busy Spring Festival holiday at a very good price, which was a lifesaver. They also helped us hire e-bikes easily. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Yangshuo. Highly recommended!

The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, but my heart will forever belong to their Guilin rice noodles. Made to order, served with a spoonful of secret braised sauce, fried soybeans, and pickled long beans – the flavor was absolutely divine! I had to have two bowls to truly satisfy my craving. It's also worth noting that the soy milk during breakfast is freshly ground, incredibly smooth, and full of natural soybean flavor, tasting just like homemade. Pairing that with a freshly brewed coffee while enjoying the view by the window was such a relaxing and therapeutic experience. **Photography:** Another hidden gem of my stay was the complimentary travel photoshoot. I initially just planned to snap a few pictures for memories, but the photographer was excellent at directing, and the compositions were fantastic. What truly impressed me was the post-processing. When I received the photos, I noticed only subtle adjustments to lighting and color, with my skin texture beautifully preserved. There was no over-editing or artificial beautification; it looked natural and very high-end. **Unexpected Delights:** The hotel's most unique feature is surprisingly its cormorant birds! Due to my schedule, I unfortunately missed seeing them, which was a bit of a shame. They also offer intangible cultural heritage craft experiences! **Butler service is available 24 hours.**

The hotel's location is absolutely prime in Guilin city center. You can see the Sun and Moon Pagodas right from your window, and it's right next to Entrance No. 3 of Elephant Trunk Hill. Downstairs is the entrance to Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, which is incredibly convenient. The only downside was that the room was quite hot, and the air conditioning didn't seem to be cooling. Hopefully, they can improve that.

I booked a Classic Twin Room. The front desk staff kindly upgraded us to a river-view room facing the Li River, which was fantastic! 👍 The hotel is quite large and caters to guests from all over. Many of them are tourists, including a good number of elderly folks. So, expect a queue for breakfast around 7:30 AM. However, the wait isn't long; you'll be seated in no time. The hotel is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk of Elephant Trunk Hill, Twin Pagodas Park, and Xiaoyao Tower. Plus, the famous local snack street is right behind the hotel, and the locals highly recommend eating there. Overall, a very satisfying trip!
