The staff were very nice, well trained for service-mind. The room is quite big, clean and also I booked city view which was very nice. All high-tech staff in the room such as open the curtain, turn on the light which I loved that. The television was quite big. Amenities are fully provided. Location is great, at night you could just walk to the walking street. I have had a great night here. Highly recommended.

The hotel is modern, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The rooms are comfortable, and the overall design creates a relaxing and stylish atmosphere. However, if you don’t speak Chinese, be aware that communication at the front desk can be very difficult. None of the staff do not speak English, and while some try their best to help, others are not only unhelpful but actually quite rude. Unfortunately, I had a particularly stressful experience with one of the male receptionists on the night shift, whose attitude towards non-Chinese speakers was shockingly unpleasant. It’s a real shame because the hotel itself is lovely, but the lack of basic communication and courtesy from some staff members really affected my stay.

Our 3 night stay here was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful and welcoming each day. The location is right next to the old wall, which you get a great view of from the outdoor terrace. Just be mindful that the reception is on an upper level via lifts, so the entrance from outside isn't immediately obvious. Look for glass sliding doors with lifts behind it and small black plaque stating Mehood Elegant Hotel. The hotel decor is lovely Chinese style. Our Tang Dynasty room was excellent, decent size and facilities. Twin beds were spacious, each with bedside tables. Wash basin is behind a half partition within the bedroom. Then the toilet and shower are each in their own cubicle, behind the wash basin. So be mindful that you can see the bathroom area from the beds area but it was fine for us. Air con worked great. Robes and slippers provided. Self service laundry area was a welcome addition, with 3 washer dryers, detergent, hanging rail and clothes steamer. Breakfast was really excellent, mostly Chinese cuisine with some continental western options. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel. Easy walking distance of metro, shops and old wall.

Incredible hotel with exceptional services. Sparking cleaned with great amenities. The hotel is so big that one may get lost within it. Mr. Wang at the front desk was so kind that he offered to drive us around the hotel's ground in the hotel red cable car. The room itself is big. Breakfast had variety Chinese and Western foods. The Hotspring experience was amazing. Hotel location is isolated however, it's 5-6 minutes walkable to the Huashan Tourist Center and few restaurants are 6-10 minutes walk from the hotel.

My wife and I came here for our first anniversary and it was worth every dollar spent. The hotel was gorgeous and super clean. Our room was decorated with rose petals spelling out “1 year” on the bed and a trail of petals to the personal hot spring tub. The bathroom has two sink basins with tall mirrors. The shower is a rainfall shower. The toilet has a glass door which was a little weird but the bathroom had a solid wooden door. Cleaning staff comes every day at a time that works for you to sanitize and organize everything. The mini fridge comes packed with a variety of drinks that are refilled for free every day. We were given a rotating plate of fresh fruits every day. At night time, they provide good night soup and turn on the personal hot spring tub. During the day, you can visit the outdoor hot spring in a secluded area. The minerals in the hot springs made our skin so soft and healthy looking. We did a spa treatment too which was very relaxing. They were very accommodating with finding a time that worked best for us. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Mostly Chinese breakfast with many delicious dishes to choose from. The restaurant was in a different building on the Huaqing Palace grounds. Easy to walk to but they also can drive us in a kart to and from it. You can also come and go to the Huaqing Palace grounds too! The staff was very friendly and accommodating even with a language barrier. They helped us arrange laundry services to be delivered to our room. They went and picked up our tickets to the Song of Everlasting Sorrow (great show). The housekeeper, Deng Xiaohui, was wonderful and gave us parting gifts when we checked out. 5/5. Highly recommend. We hope to be back next time we visit Xi’an.

I heard that the hotel is the original Rainbow Hotel, and it is open for trial operation. I came to experience it. Let me first talk about the guest rooms. There are free drinks, tea bags, mineral water, and welcome fruits in the rooms. The hardware facilities are impeccable, combining modern and classical styles perfectly. I personally like the decoration style very much. There is a free gym and laundry room on the top floor, which is a very thoughtful point. The laundry room not only provides free laundry detergent, but also comes with sewing kits, which is really meticulous. Checking out was in a hurry and I didn't have breakfast, which was a bit regrettable, but next time I come to Xianyang, I will definitely stay at Rainbow Hotel again!

Very convenient location, right beside Bell Tower subway station. The hotel is on the fourth floor of the building, where the ground floor is a large food court with a great variety of food, open at 6am into late at night. Location is awesome, and service is good. There is free laundry service. I would recommend this location. It’s on the same subway line to Xi’an North railway, just 24mins ride, faster than driving.
