No issues with room, comfortable bed. Issue after checkout as the hotel called and left a message asking for money for an adjustment on the booking that I didn't make. I did atrempt to correct my name as it showed up as Newma not Newman, but that's a correction not an adjustment that should cost money when it wasn't my mistake. Also when I checked in it still showed up at the hotel as Newma, so the correction hadn't been made.

Everything was fine except for the behavior of one employee at the reception—a lady, though I don’t want to mention her name. Also, in the room, there’s only one bottle of water provided, even if there are two guests. And if we ask for another bottle, they say we have to buy it. We’re paying £87 per night just for an overnight stay, and yet there are no additional services—not even complimentary water.

Great location. A very nice spa. The hotel room is unfortunately quite old, the shower was cold, the bed was uncomfortable and the walls are very thin making it hard to sleep.

Room was good and very spacious. And provided with good slection of tea and coffee. Got one misshapen there and trip.com refunded

Lovely old fashioned hotel with helpful staff and great food options.

I only needed the room for 1 night, so I wasn't too fussed about the 'Lovely' view out of the window. The room was a bit dated, but quirky, with out of shape walls. The restaurant looked nice, but I didn't stay to eat.

Out of all the hotels we stayed at on our trip, the DoubleTree by Hilton was definitely our favorite, followed by Hampton and Holiday Inn. Sticking with chain hotels really does save you from bad experiences. This particular DoubleTree is located in the Cotswolds, making it super convenient for visiting the nearby towns. Before checking in, we popped over to Bibury. As the sun set and the tourists left, the town was absolutely serene and beautiful! We had planned to wake up early the next day to experience the peaceful beauty of Bourton-on-the-Water before the crowds arrived, but the youngsters just couldn't get out of bed, so that plan fell through. There's a local supermarket right next to the hotel, which has a great selection and good prices – perfect for stocking up on snacks if you're driving. The breakfast was delicious, and the welcome cookies were a lovely treat. The environment is beautiful, and I'd definitely recommend it. If you're driving to the Cotswolds, staying here is an excellent choice!

Nice stay, rooms clean and quiet

The place is very pleasant! Nice soft and clean beds and lovely restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel. Brand new so immaculate and very clean. Roof top bar and view over Glos great place for drinks. They need more cushions though and seating uncomfortable if you don’t manage to sit on a cushioned chair. Wine okay- limited rose options. Room well designed and high tech offerings such as coffee machine, milk in the fridge and biscuits. No earl grey tea or oat milk options sadly. Hairdryer and steamer all top tech. Shower powerful and spacious. Products fresh and okay quality. Comfy bed and air con. Dressing gown missing the belt!
