Few niggles but fantastic stay overall especially the Spa service! Didn’t order food or try the restaurant so can’t comment on that.
Toilet facilities fully equipped with essentials you might be missing, like toiletries for women, dry shampoo and deodorant. I’ve never seen this at any other hotel I’ve stayed in, so it’s a nice touch!
Close to the station which is a bonus, a little walk to the city centre with plenty of places to eat.
I enjoyed my stay there and they've been few staff which were really helpful as I was on crushes. There was a time a fell in the bathroom and the paramedics told them the situation but nobody bothered atleast twice in a week to ask me if I'm OK.Talking about the food I had to order food throughout using uber because I couldn't walk far because of my fractured ankle. Sometimes they took time to change my linen.
Great Hotel, Great location, Great staff.
Easy check in staff helpful & polite, then went for a swim, sauna & steam room after a long drive then chilled out at the bar area.
I did find our bath in our room not very wide, when you have a shower the shower curtain seems to stick to you when you are washing (i need more room & no im not oversized) probably a shower cubicle would be better.
Could do with a touch up here & there, no air-conditioning in rooms so ask for a fan or take your own.
Breakfast is plenty from hot & cold & everything i needed.
Thank you all for a great stay.
The hotel's location is great, right in the outlet village. It's about a ten-minute walk from Portsmouth Harbour train station; just enter the outlet from the station. The staff were all very friendly, patient, and enthusiastic. The hotel offers free luggage storage. After booking on Trip.com, I was notified via email that the central air conditioning was still under repair. Upon check-in, they gave me a can of water. The hotel facilities are typical of an older budget hotel in China, quite dated. The price was a bit high. In the room, there was only shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap, which seems to be common in UK hotels. The room was clean and well-maintained, but there was no desk, only one chair, and no charging points near the bed. Breakfast was a standard continental spread, sufficient to fill you up. A pleasant surprise was finding a Whittard store downstairs where I bought my favorite fruit tea at a discounted price. Right outside the hotel, there's a Tesco supermarket, and opposite Tesco is a brunch spot. There are also several restaurants and cafes within the outlet village, making dining very convenient. From the outlet, it's about a fifteen-minute walk to the Mary Rose Museum, where you can see King Henry VIII's favorite warship, salvaged after more than 400 years at the bottom of the sea – a must-visit for history buffs!
Can’t fault a thing, really lovely place to stay with little ones. They really looked after us with special touches, including a stunning play area and bedtime milk and cookies
The location and environment are too big, and the house feels very much, like the castle, I like it very much, the forest park is still worth a day, the hotel environment is first class, absolutely good value for money, the house is a little smaller, but the UK is the same
We stayed for 1 night at this hotel. The room was lovely and staff were friendly. I requested a room with a bath which we got. However there was no plug in the bath so it wouldn’t fill up. The reception was helpful at getting us a new plug tho. We also used the swimming pool which was lovey and very clean. Overall a good experience.
Standard room in the town centre, close to high street and bus/train station so very easy to get to. Located in a pub but was very quiet, has a beer garden and space for parking if needed. Spacious room for one person and has everything you need including a kettle, tv, wardrobe with plenty of storage, towels etc. Receptionists were kind and helpful, breakfast is available for extra but I didn't get it so cannot review.
Nice little inn off the highway and it’s a hidden gem! Nice Italian decor especially in the restaurant. That continues into the room where my wife commented it made her think of the room we stayed in Venice. Another great thing is that they warmed up the room before we got there, so it’s nice and warm we entered it. Restaurant also served good Italian food. Would stay there again!
Nice hotel, warm winter and cool summer, no air conditioning (no air conditioning), the temperature difference between morning and evening is very big, pay attention to the increase of clothes, the town is very warm, it is too expensive to go to London train

GGuest UserWell, the service at the hotel was excellent too. The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful, they were always willing to answer my questions and provide useful advice. Also, the breakfast provided by the hotel was very delicious, varied and had different choices every day. The service at the restaurant is also very good, and the staff is always very thoughtful and welcoming.
The only downside is that the hotel is slightly more expensive, but I think the price is still very reasonable given the location and quality of service of the hotel. In short, I really like this hotel and I would definitely choose to stay again if I travel to this city again.
BBobstarrLovely staff and great hotel location for anyone that’s a bit more car centric.
Despite not using the on site facilities as much, the staff were lovely, friendly & helpful at any hour.
The room was spotlessly clean, and had decent basic amenities, but the room I stayed in was starting to look a little tired.
Decent value for money however, especially for the time of the year & a weekend.
GGuest UserThis hotel is beautiful and just a 35-minute drive from Highclere Castle. It has a real sense of history. The facilities are great, although there's no air conditioning and the room felt a bit stuffy, but that's just the way it is sometimes. The hotel is right next to a vast estate with beautiful lawns, flowers, and trees, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I hope to come back again!
SStaceyI was a little bit disappointed staying at the Apollo hotel when I booked, i booked it for two adults and one child and when I got there there was only a double bed, they told me they would put in a single bed for me whilst I was out and when I got back to the hotel at 8:30pm there still wasn’t a bed they eventually at 10pm gave me a camp bed with springs missing for my four-year-old to sleep on I wasn’t happy, so in the end I ended up sleeping on the floor so my daughter could have the bed with her dad, it’s a real shame to see a hotel that I stayed in when I got married has gone downhill, there was a lot of dirty trays in the corridors on the way to the room, but on entrance of the hotel was beautiful,

GGuest UserBreakfast at the weekend doesn't start until 8.00am. We were playing a Pickleball Tournament on their Acrylic tennis courts and needed to digest our food before running around! The hot items weren't all out which was irritating. Bacon, sausages and eggs were missing. As soon as the eggs arrived they were gone because everyone was queuing. If it says breakfast starts at 8.00, then it should all be available on time! Pools are great, (one specifically for children and one for adults. Sporting facility was excellent. Free parking for hotel guests.
Bedroom was very clean and had everything one needed. No air con, but fan in cupboard. Magnifying mirror, iron & board, hairdryer.
I had to stay at the hotel to continue playing my tournament, but wanted to have a last swim to ease my muscles before driving home in a terrible heatwave. They said check out had been at 11.00am and I would have to pay £10! I thought that was rather steep so declined. There was hardly anyone in the pool and a small kind gesture after paying for 2 nights would have lifted my spirits and given a better impression. The pool was also only open from 8.00am. Far too late if people want a swim before breakfast.
Dogs seem to be allowed at the hotel in the bedrooms. 4 yapping dogs in one room is a bit much. Awful for the cleaners and I put the TV on to mask the noise!
Drinks and food quite expensive. Great Indian in the village!
It was great though being able to stay at the actual venue for the tournament. Cheaper through Trip com than the Tournament offer rate!

JJoodsI had booked the hotel as I was attending and office Christmas party and didn’t want to drive home after. The location was important as I wanted easy walking distance from the venues we were visiting and a central location as I would be walking back alone to the hotel late at night.
It felt as though the visit got off to a bad start as although I arrived close to check in time, there was no room to park at the hotel car park. To be fair , the hotel website does mention it’s not big and is on a ‘first come…’ basis, however the site does not explain alternative parking options. I parked at a multi storey carpark about 5 mins walk away. I parked at 3:15 pm with parking expiry at 9:15 am- not ideal- either leave early or make sure you make a note to top up!
The reception area is bright and spacious and looked very pleasant; check in was efficient.
However, the room was very dated, ( dark furniture which had seen better days, the easy chair was in need of recovering). Hmmm
The room looked clean however there was hair (head an ‘body’ hair on the bathroom floor (not one or two strands), and for the first time in over 30 years of hotel stays I had to request housekeeping to clean my room. I requested this upon leaving the hotel for the evening. The receptionist was shocked when I mentioned it and on my return I could she issue had been remedied.
Breakfast was ‘ok’.
MMisisGIt was a great experience for us as a family, I have to booked 2 rooms to accommodate the family of four, everything was absolutely fantastic. Kids enjoyed the food. It was 9/10 stars for all, except that it took us so long to wait for the room that was interconnected with the other room. I was told at first that it was interconnected but then when we went in there it wasn’t. huge thanks to Ms. Nadia from the front desk who was there to help us and got everything sorted for 10 minutes.
The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly 😊 we will definitely be back again.
