This is considered quite inexpensive, even a real bargain, given the high prices in Nordic countries. It's a highly recommended option for anyone visiting Stockholm.

After several business trips, this is by far the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in. The room isn't huge, but it's very well-equipped, even with in-room speakers. The common areas have hot water, vending machines, and an iron and ironing board, making it perfect for business travelers. The breakfast in the lobby is quite extensive, and they even offer free freshly ground coffee, which is a thoughtful touch. On the second floor, there's a very large common area where you can relax, read, or work. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Stockholm. The staff are also incredibly friendly, and the entire hotel has a charming, nostalgic, retro music vibe.

The hotel is great and in an excellent location, very easy to get to. The staff are incredibly helpful and assisted us with many questions. They also have lockers where you can store your belongings. Our room was cozy with a fantastic bathroom, and there was plenty of space with comfortable beds. The interior is modern, and the room has everything you need.

It was so nice, like the window and all. I was there for the concert and I got there without waiting for hours and all. Very clean, big room and they have lactose free and gluten free stuff for breakfast! Will come here again

Unbeatable location with classic Nordic comfort My stay at the Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel was defined by one thing above all: location. The hotel sits directly opposite Stockholm's Central Station—you step out of the Arlanda Express train and you're pretty much there. Gamla Stan (the Old Town) is a 15-minute walk, the main shopping street Drottninggatan is just 5 minutes away, and the metro (T-Centralen) is literally next door. The rooms are clean, pleasant, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds. Breakfast is a highlight—with a generous buffet featuring Scandinavian, continental, and American options, there is Chinese too but it’s only porridge and tofu. The service across the hotel—from front desk to restaurant staff—is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A few things to keep in mind: the pool and sauna require an additional fee (200 SEK) - they were not available during my stay due to renovations. The hotel is older than its sister property Radisson Blu Waterfront, so don't expect ultra-modern facilities. Overall, if you prioritise convenience, comfort, and service over cutting-edge design, this hotel offers fantastic value in the heart of Stockholm. I'd happily stay here again.

Convenient hotel for an overnight stay between flights, with a free shuttle bus and all the basic facilities needed, including a pool, restaurant, and bar. Check-in was straightforward but could have been more efficient, especially as the booking was prepaid. The room was small but clean and had everything needed for a short stay. Overall, a good option for a one-night airport stay, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer visit. The facilities and location are functional rather than particularly inviting.

Room has enough space, toilet is clean and a very useful big desk with open cabinet. Location is pretty good, about 8-9 mins to central station and 6 mins to Arlanda express. However room walls are thin, if you have noisy young neighbors like mine, you will hear constant banging on the wall above your head, frequent slamming of doors and chatting until 3am while you are trying to sleep on your bed；though this is not the fault of the hostel, just pay attention to this if you are light sleeper.

I had a fantastic stay at Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan right in the heart of Stockholm. The location was unbeatable — just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore. The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit. The hotel is very conveniently located close to Train Stations 41 and 40, falling within the 'Small' transport card zone. The nearby palace is worth a visit if you have some free time. However, upon checking in, a man who appeared to be Indian opened our room door, claiming he was there to perform a hygiene check. My daughter and I were absolutely terrified; it was horrifying. This clearly demonstrates a serious management oversight. Fortunately, we weren't changing clothes at the time. For the rest of our stay, we kept the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on our door.

I was honestly surprised by the experience, especially considering that this is a five-star hotel. The air conditioning was very poor and the room was not comfortable because of it. I was also surprised that some basic bathroom amenities were missing, such as a toothbrush, comb, and other essentials that you would normally expect from a five-star hotel. The bathroom itself was also relatively small. Other than that, the rest of the stay was okay, but overall, the experience did not meet my expectations for a five-star hotel, and I don’t think I would choose to stay here again.
