It's a hotel for mass tourism... and achieves good success that way so all was well arranged for guests. Some trivial problems may come for individual guests in that setting... Such as parking our rental car was a bit difficult due to the lack of parking spaces at nights. Oh well... It was a nice stay for us anyway.

The location indicated is not very accurate in relation to its actual location. The hotel was very friendly and we asked for some recommendation and was a total hit. The reception staff is scarce to meet the huge number of guests who arrive and leave the hotel. The system set to contact reception did not like anything, there was no direct phone, the central station passed the call but no one responds to it .... after trying it 4 days before our arrival was impossible.

After a tumultuous number of years with family and friends bereavements, we were looking forward to a quiet and peaceful holiday in the sunshine with international and interesting cuisine and company. We found this here with a fantastic blend of self catering and delicious food from well facilitated restaurants and bars.

This is a really nice resort, with a nice lobby and amenities. It's also right by the ocean, and the dining room has a great view overlooking it as well. The breakfast was really top notch and delicious, with a lot of fresh fruits and food varieties. Sadly, the location is a bit inaccessible and not that close to either of the airports on the island.

The breakfast was really good and well organized. There are lots of activities you can do in the hotel (pool, sauna, spa, gym, table tennis, billiard and other games) and the golf area around looks great from above (I don't play golf though). The beach and other sights (e.g. Siam park) are close by and easy accessable by car or taxi The room was huge but needs some renovation (e.g. there was a broken flagstone in my bath room and a rupture on the couch)

Incredible stay! Contrary to some negative reviews about the hotel's cleanliness, we actually found a beautiful hotel perfectly located near shops (directly opposite a mini-supermarket and the city center). The room was spotless, as were all the hotel's facilities. And the staff were incredibly kind ✨ We were lucky enough to stay during Carnival 🎭

GGuest UserSanta Catalina Hotel is undeniably a historic architectural landmark, but as a hotel experience it fell well below expectations. On arrival, the service felt cold and somewhat pretentious rather than welcoming, with concierge staff coming across as detached and pompous rather than genuinely hospitable. A key reason for choosing the hotel was the prominently advertised rooftop pool and views, only to discover after check-in that access is restricted to suite guests. The spa is similarly limited unless you pay €15 per person for 90 minutes, which feels disproportionate given the modest facilities. These restrictions are not clearly communicated at booking and leave a sense of being misled. Several of the lounge and communal areas were also frequently reserved for corporate events and seminars, which further diminished the sense of a relaxed hotel environment. As a guest, it often felt as though you were secondary to business groups and functions moving through the space, even in more personal hotel moments such as walking through common areas in a robe. In-room entertainment is very dated, with a non–smart TV offering only basic local and satellite channels. Room service carries a €5 delivery surcharge, while on-site dining is largely limited to high-end fine dining with little casual alternative. It is also worth noting that Las Palmas sits under a noticeably less favourable microclimate than the south and west of Gran Canaria. During our stay, conditions were consistently cloudy, windy, and cool, which further limited the enjoyment of the hotel’s already restricted amenities. For those seeking reliable sun and beach weather, the southern or western parts of the island are a better choice. Overall, despite its striking heritage setting, the combination of underwhelming service, restricted access to advertised facilities, dated in-room amenities, corporate use of guest spaces, and disappointing weather made for a stay that did not feel justified by the price and is not somewhere we would return to. The atmosphere and clientele also skew noticeably toward an older demographic.

GGuest UserWe had a nice clean appartement which was very spacious. The bed is really good, very soft and we slept like babies. Bathroom was nothing special but clean which is the most important thing. Breakfast is a bit on the expensive side. (8,- for 2 small orange juice). The staff was friendly. We would’ve liked to stay longer but unfortunately it was fully booked. The only downside was the 100,- borg that has to be payed with creditcard as we didn’t have one but we got the appartement anyway. I recommended this place to others if they’re looking to relaxed without the screams from tourists. If you read this as a tourist please keep this beautiful island clean and show your respect. (We walked around with an empty bag picking up trash along the road)

GGuest UserLovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

HHUIHUAVery suitable for parent-child vacation, the hotel has arranged a lot of programs from morning to night. The design details of the hotel are super beautiful and ubiquitous, perfect African style. There are 9 swimming pools, you can definitely find the place you want to lie down and relax. There is a long row of shopping festivals and small restaurants at the entrance of the hotel. The Tujiu restaurant is the most authentic and delicious. The Chinese boss behind the scenes is super enthusiastic about us every time we eat After sending a large glass of wine, take a 7-minute taxi ride from the center of the dunes

GGuest UserWe had a mixed experience during our stay. At first, we were assigned to D block (room D104), which was extremely noisy due to a nearby bar, and there was also a toilet issue with continuous running water. We were unable to sleep at all that night, despite having requested a quiet room well in advance. After communicating with the hotel, they eventually changed our room for free, which we appreciate. The new room was in I block, and the difference was huge — the room was much newer, very spacious, comfortable, and almost completely quiet. The facilities were clearly more updated, and overall the stay improved significantly. The only issue in the new room was that we found one large cockroach, which was unpleasant, but aside from that, everything was fine. I would also like to highlight that the front desk staff were polite and helpful, which is definitely a big plus. Overall, if you are planning to stay here, I would strongly recommend avoiding D block, especially if you care about noise and sleep quality. If noise does not bother you, it may not be an issue — but for light sleepers, this is something to be aware of.

GGuest UserIdeally located in quiet part close to old town as well as the *****. Two pool areas (one with shallow kids pool) and food available by larger pool -also small dining area just past reception (good selection for breakfast). Pool table for older kids and small playground for toddlers onsite. Very clean complex and friendly staff. Fully equipped kitchenette and lovely powerful shower in bathroom which I loved! Close to lots of shops and restaurants, but relatively steep stroll downhill to beach, fine for us but could be a workout with buggy or if any mobility issues. There was on street parking outside if hiring a car. Lots of taxis around if not! We enjoyed exploring the local areas on foot after a day of sightseeing…some great restaurants close by in the old town. No air con in the apartment that we could see (but we didn’t ask either as we stated at end January so 24 Celsius and pleasant indoors and out) - recommend checking if going at peak times. Pools weren’t heated but nice for a dip- clean and lifeguards on duty at both between 9:30 and 6pm. Relaxing short break at lovely complex, we’ll be back!

GGuest UserThe accommodation needs updating and needs TLC until they get round to it. It is very clean, staff are friendly and happy to help. where we had fridge and kettle need to have double plug, they was quick and gave me a extension lead to use both together. it a shame bar inside not opened as we had windy nights and we was sat pool bar with patio heaters on which i didnt do. Lovely that in your accommodation you are told about put your towels down around the pool, that they get removed if not being used so no blocking sunbeds. could do with some paperwork for you to keep on your visit on what time you choice for meals and also what time snacks available on the all inclusive. It a lovely touch that you get a towel for you to use at the pool i not been to hotel that gives you them.. Food is good for a 3star only thing would be a problem in higher season is only 1 toaster in dining room. I full enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again.. YOU ALL SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELF XX I know people have put about road outside but the hotel can not be held responsible for this as it down to council..

GGuest UserThe room was spacious, had comfy large bed. The housekeeping service in the room was surprisingly great and fast, unbothering at all. The room’s view was as ordered on Teide (unfortunately we enjoyed it only 2 last days). There was a big pool with many free sun loungers, the water was not hot, but we could swim. The amenities were exceptional: as they offered not only in-house trainings, games and night shows, but also outdoor trips to the nearby cities. The night shows included authentic cultural music and dances — was very fascinating. The staff was very helpful and friendly not on the reception, but at the bar and attractions. The breakfast menu was various and there was a cook who cooked fresh omelets by request, the restaurant was very spacious and full of light. The weather was unfortunately not great during the stay, but the hotel and its inner life has fully compensated. In good weather you can actually come and stay the whole day just at the hotel — as there is everything you need for relaxing. We would stay more and will come for sure next time!
